Muslim Group Blames Talk Radio
Hey Mr. Hooper...How about this--tell your people to practice what you preach!
WND--A leading U.S. Islamic lobby group blames a purported rise in anti-Muslim harassment, violence and discriminatory treatment on the Internet and talk radio.
In its annual report, the Council on American-Islamic Relations claims anti-Muslim incidents leaped 30 percent in 2005 from the previous year.
National spokesman Ibrahim Hooper told reporters the difference is due to "a rise in anti-Muslim rhetoric fed by the Internet and also on talk radio."
Probably because most of the pro-Muslim rhetoric we hear is prefaced by a beheading video followed up with a hearty Allah Akbar!
"You can't turn on the radio without hearing negative, bigoted comments about Islam," Hooper said.
Try turning on a TV without seeing anti-EVERYTHING Muslim anything.
I don't know about you but I'm getting extremely irritated in everything but their own behavior being to blame for their troubles. Everyone is held accountable for the most ridiculous of foibles except the jihadists. The fact that the jihadists are 100 per cent Muslim never, EVER factors into the conversation. We (Non-Muslims) are supposed to understand them and when we don't, we are to blame?
I'm not biting. I understand alright that the jihadists believe in their Allah-given right to reek havoc and mayhem on the world until it submits or burns! And when we point it out or profile the situation?
The group targeted Washington, D.C., host Michael Graham for making an "implicit" call for violence against all Muslims by advocating the use of profiling in security policy.
Profiling is violence against all Muslims? Then suicide bombing a wedding party in the name of Allah is...what? I'm sorry but there seems to a disproportionate response here and I think CAIR should be careful not to call the kettle black. Especially when it's leaders are regularly involved in supporting this same terror and whose chairman thinks the Quran should be the USA's top authority.
No Mr. Hooper...it is not Americans who need to understand Islam at all. We understand completely and we freely talk about it. But the Islamists and those who would work in any way for their success, you don't understand America.
