Abbas Terms Hamas Forces "illegal" As Violence Continues
What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday termed "illegal" the Hamas-controlled armed Executive Force, unless the members are integrated into official security services.
His remarks came amid ongoing internal Palestinian violence.
During the last week, Fatah and Hamas have both conducted kidnapping operations in both the West Bank and Gaza Strip, mostly targeting each other's members. A Peruvian photographer, working for the French news agency AFP, was also kidnapped and remains in captivity.
So the idea here seems to be who is more illegal: Fatah or Hamas? As long as they act like terrorists, neither means squat to me.
