A Message of Revolution

We live in a tupsy-turvy world. Good is evil, evil is good, right is wrong, wrong is right, lies are truths, truths are lies. Regardless of one’s political preferences, regardless of one’s religious creed or absence thereof some things must be said and repeated often enough for them to penetrate the collective consciousness. Though I am a proud and staunchly Orthodox Jew, I am compelled to quote words which I consider a true reflection of the world we live in. The excerpt below is taken from the address by Minister Joe Wright at the new session opening of the Kansas House of Representatives in 1996:

We know Your Word says, “Woe to those who call evil good”, [Woe to those who speak of evil as good and of good as evil - my translation of the original Hebrew in Isaiah 5:20] but that is exactly what we have done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We confess that.

We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it Pluralism.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery,

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare,

We have killed our unborn and called it choice,

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable,

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem,

We have abused power and called it politics,

We have coveted our neighbor’s possessions and called it ambition,

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression,

We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

When Reverend Wright spoke those words one Democrat legislator walked out in disgust, another called him called narrow minded and bigoted. But were they right? Through my posts I have often decried the West’s loss of spirituality and its replacement with valueless values, its replacement with instant gratification that neither lasts nor gratifies.

As the West becomes “enlightened”, as synagogues and churches who preach love remain half empty, mosques with extremist Imams who preach hatred and submission of the West are filled. The West has lost its motivation, it lives in a dream world full of complacency and lack of values. The fight, the thirst for life has left it and been replaced with emptiness. Reverend Wright spoke those words eleven years ago. Their sounds, their truths still ring strong, still seek to awaken to shake out of our comfortable slumber. Truth is often inconvenient, often brutal, but absolutely eternal!

Aldous Huxley once said that speaking the truth is often a revolutionary act. If such is the case I am proud, to have quoted the words above and hope and pray they will penetrate the hearts of the West so we can start the revolution back to our values, back to our civilization, back to true and lasting enlightenment... while we still can!

War of Religions

Whether it is denied or not, we are currently on the cusp of an all out war between religions.

On one side there Is Islam. At one point in human history Islamists held control over a major portion of the world. Through warfare they expanded their power and converted the people within their realm. Those that didn't convert were either killed or forced to pay a tax and live as second class citizens. Often victim to the whims of the Islamic majority. Listening to Islamic apologists today can be frustrating. Hearing people claim that the Jews, Christians, Buddhists, etc were treated well as long as they accepted their second class status. This does not jibe with modern day ideology. Statement's like these are downplayed or ignored outright. Everywhere Islam is making inroads there is conflict. It won't be long before it becomes violent within the US.

On the other side there Are the Jews and the Christians. Considered "People of the Book" by Islam. Historically the Jews have been victim to just about every genocidal monster that has come to power. They have also been victim to their fellow "People of the Book", the Christians. It appears recently that these "people of the Book" are growing closer in their relations. The Christians have matured to realize that the Jews are not Christ killers. And the Jews are realizing that although Christians attempt to proselytize, that the Christians have developed a respect for the fellow believers in the one and true G-d. Whereas Judaism has been limited to a small portion of the populace, Christianity spread and is the "dominant" religion of the 3 "Abrahamic" faiths.

The Jews and Christians appear to be able to live together as equals. Islam refuses this. Islam from it's inception was meant to dominate, by force if necessary. The Islamic Koran allows for lies and deception if it advances the cause of Islam. Lying to a non-believer is acceptable. a Muslim cannot fight against his Muslim brother. Whereas Judaism and Christianity are faiths that help a person make decisions in their life. Islam mandates and dictates every move a Muslim makes. The Jewish and Christian G-d is active in the daily lives of his people. The Islamic allah appears to be aloof and doesn't like to be bothered.

Christianity is rooted in Judaism. The Christian Old Testament is founded in Judaism's Torah and Talmud. This provides the history of the Jewish people in their walk with G-d. The New Testament is the preaching of Jesus Christ and his disciples. The continuing walk with G-d that was given to the Gentiles. True children and the Adopted. Just as there would be in any household with natural children and adopted, there are squabbles. In the end, differences are set aside for the greater good. (Yes this is oversimplified but I only have so much space to write.)

Islam doesn't allow for differences. The Koran, and the hadiths, are adamant in their charges. There can be no acceptance of the non-believer. Tolerance of the Infidel is unacceptable. In order to be a "moderate" muslim, one would have to disavow a major portion of the Koran. This would set one up as an apostate and just as heretical as the Jews and Christians.

The differences between the faiths will not be reconciled by politics. Yap sessions between diplomats will not relieve each faith's expected duties. Each religion has it's true believers and those that support them. Whether a person is active in conflict or not, they believe what their books guide them to do and will support it. This cannot be negated without war. If you hear a Jew, Christian, or Muslim disavow what is in their Holy Book's then you are not dealing with a true believer and will not solve anything.

As I stated we are on the cusp of a religious war. The sooner people in power acknowledge it the sooner it can be over. Ignoring the facts only makes it worse and the outcome be more chaotic.

Oil and Islam don't mix

Barbary pirateFor the past few hundred years, Muslims have been minor annoyances, usually as pirates on the Barbary Coast or as slave-dealers in Africa. But the last 50 years have given Arab countries so much money that the only way they know how to spend it is to spread Islamic terror. Without oil money these sand fleas would have remained poor and ignorant dregs of humanity of little consequence and with no valuable contribution to modern civilization. Now that Arabia has our oil money they have turned into rich and ignorant dregs of humanity of violent consequence and still with no valuable contribution to modern civilization.

But wouldn't the same thing happen with extreme, religious Jews if they got tons of money? Absolutely not. Although religious Jews also start schools or Yeshivas, the students are never taught that the gentiles should be converted to Judaism or that the entire world should become Judaic. If anything, Judaism does not want people to become Jews. "Leave us alone" is the operative phrase. You will never see a Jew asking a Christian if he has accepted Moses as his personal saviour or see a Jew forcing a Muslim to convert under threat of force. So if Israel were to have all the oil instead of Muslims, the world would not only be safer but the money would be used for the betterment of mankind. One only has to see that the tiny State of Israel with a pinky-nail of the world's population and a sliver of the moneys that Arabs get from oil, has contributed more technological advances and garnered more patents, inventions, discoveries and scientific advances than the entire Muslim world COMBINED. That is so absurdedly true I have to say it twice: The entire Muslim world combined.
