Writing is also a bomb: The Moderate Muslim Threat

I have written many times that the greatest threat to Western Civilization is not al Qaeda or Muslim terrorists; it is your common, ordinary, average, moderate Joe or Jane Jihadi. The moderate Muslim does not blow up school buses or train stations or hospitals. The moderate Muslim does not slit the throats of Jews living peacefully in France. As brutal as these acts of terror may be, Civilization will continue and flourish despite the loss of a few hundred poor souls slaughtered by radical Islam.

But the real danger is in fact actually the moderate Muslim who, when offended by all that is infidel, demands that those offenses be removed or destroyed. In the civilized world we call those things science, women's rights, learning, free-speech, art, progress, technology, and freedom of the press. Islamic Scholars have even demanded that the West pass laws to criminalize insults to Islam.

First, some background: three months ago in my post The Portuguese Reconquista and New Jersey Bookies, I wrote that once Europe got rid of its Muslims the great age of European exploration began. I noted that Pedro Álvares Cabral was the first European discoverer of the sea route to Brazil.

Now the story: We went to Typhoon Lagoon early yesterday at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. The first thing I did was get a locker to store my valuables and was handed locker key number 1468. I noted that the Disney cashier had a name tag with "Mohammed" engraved on it, so I said to one of the other cashiers, "Oh, key number 1468 - that was the year the Portuguese explorer Pedro Álvares Cabral, who discovered Brazil, was born. Did you know that the Portuguese got a head start in the great European exploration of the world because they got rid of Muslims before anyone else?

The other cashier asked, "What are you, a history buff?" I answered, "No - just that I recently wrote a blog article about Cabral."

Now here's the interesting part: Cashier Mohammed, in a calm, not threatening, matter-of-fact tone, responded: "Well, you know the whole world will be all Muslim soon, anyway."

"Yes," I replied just as matter-of-factly, "I believe that is a very strong possibility."

Time to Open Eyes

Aaron Hanscom has an article titled "The Jihadist Dream to Liberate Spain" in todays frontpagemag.com. I not only recommend reading it, I recommend going to the links he has available. It should be very enlightening, at least to those who are willing to confront the truth. I have often jokingly referred to Andalusia on my blog. No more joking. After reading everything I have over the last couple of years it has become apparent that Islam wants to attain all the land it has lost over the last couple centuries.

Islamic ideology believes that by bringing Islamic rule to people is allah's will and provides TRUE freedom. By not having to think about, or ponder, meanings of life and our place in it we are free to do allah's will. Sounds nice, doesn't it? It also believes that lands that were conquered by the Prophet and his followers are Islamic lands, no matter who may rule there now. These lands were granted by allah and belong to the Mohammedans.

Unlike our society that uses words like Imperialism and Colonialism, the Islamists use the term Fatah, which in loose terms means granted. When Mohammed would go on a conquest he labeled it a Fatah. This prevented him from appearing as the infidels do and he was protected by the governance of allah. (Keep in mind that this is a layman's interpretation. I am sure there are others who can go into more depth.)

Any nation that exists now that is located on land that was previously controlled by Islam is considered fair game to the Islamists. As far as they are concerned, this is occupied territory. Spain is not the only nation that will have to face this. The United States is also part of this. Not because we are existing on former Islamic territory. We are considered part of the fatah. The Islamist's are going to free us from our misguided view and attempt at freedom. Be prepared. Not only are we are target for terror, we are a target for being freed according to Islamic tradition.

Kind of makes you feel good, doesn't it?
