Questioning Justice

Justice was served. The trial and execution of Saddam Hussein was justice.

It was not a perfect trial, none are. The screeching from the anti-war, anti-American, and Islamist crowd is nothing but background noise. Had Saddam stayed in power these executions would be occurring a hundred times a day. The very people calling the trial and execution unjust would be screaming that we aren’t doing anything about it. These very people were talking about removing Saddam before it was accomplished. Now they want to know what justification we had in doing so. These very people, who lambaste and castigate governments for dealing with Despot’s instead of toppling them, change sides as soon as the despot is toppled. How is this justified?

These same people scream for their government to protect them and then do everything they can to prevent the government from doing so. They want to know how the dots weren’t connected then take the pencil away from the government. These people want everything but refuse to pay for it. They want others to pay for it. They believe they have a right to the money that I earn. They believe they have a right to the house that I live in. They believe they have a right to take the food from my table and put it on their’s. They believe that the government should make this happen. How did this mindset come about?

What makes a person believe he has a right to something that others have? What makes a person scream for justice then scream against it when it has happened? What makes a person believe that the man that topples the evil is actually the evil one? What makes people believe that the world would be better if Saddam were still in power? How many tortured, raped, and murdered Iraqis must there have been before the Untied States was legitimate in its actions? How many Mothers, Fathers, and Grandparents should have been taken from their families before intervention would have been acceptable? Why does Saddam have more of a right to life than his subjects did? I have nothing but questions and none of them can be answered by the anti-war, anti-American, Islamist crowd without showing themselves to be hypocritical liars.

Saddam deserved to die. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad deserves to die. Khalid Misha’al deserves to die. Hassan Nasrallah deserves to die. Any head of a terror organization deserves to die. Anyone who sends others, strapped with bombs to commit murder, deserves to die. The idiot that puts the bomb on his person deserves to die. Saddam execution was justice and justifiable.

The death of Saddam put certainty into a nation that hasn’t had that for awhile. Saddam will not make a surprise escape and come back later to punish those who revolted. There will be no more dying under his orders. The Iraqis have a legitimate chance to build anew. Whether they do it is up to them. All the screaming from the bleeding heart fascist’s does not matter. The only purpose they serve is to provide opeds to the NYT, LAT, Washington Post, and other bleeding heart rags and websites. Saddam is dead. Thank G-d.

Hussein Hanging Video

Ok this might be considered hit pimping...but I've heard reports that bloggers stats are growing like weeds from people from every country looking for video of the Hussein hanging.

My thoughts on it.

Listen-I don't have it.

And when the Hussein Hanging Video is indeed available I probably won't post it myself. Perhaps others here at JDJ will...but I feel that it has too much resemblance to other execution videos that we do air here. We air them only to highlight the brutality of the "religion of peace's" most visible spokemen at work.

We are the good guys...

...and we don't have to broadcast true justice with the same savoring fervor as the Jihadists air their injustices.

That being said I do have before and after photos...

The photo is before. Click it for the after.

Meaningful Muslim Executions

Update: Drudge has it. HotAir.com has it too.

While some Muslims cheer at Saddam's death others decry it. Perhaps these are the only Muslim executions of which they approve.

Iraqis gather to witness Saddam's execution

Click for Video
(His)Final Thoughts At 10 PM

Trying to do this with dignity:

In his Friday sermon, a mosque preacher in the Shiite holy city of Najaf called Saddam's execution "God's gift to Iraqis."

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP)--An adviser to Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said Saddam would be executed before 6 a.m. Saturday, or 10 p.m. Friday EST. Also to be hanged at that time were Saddam's half-brother Barzan Ibrahim and Awad Hamed al-Bandar, the former chief justice of the Revolutionary Court, the adviser said.

The time was agreed upon during a meeting Friday between U.S. and Iraqi officials, said the adviser, who declined to be named because he is not authorized to speak to the media.

"Saddam will be handed over shortly before the execution," the official said. The physical transfer of Saddam from U.S. to Iraqi authorities was believed to be one of the last steps before he was to be hanged.

Party at Allah's...

UPDATE: 10:10PM Fox News and others are reporting "SADDAM HUSSEIN IS EXECUTED".

Honestly, it makes me...well...Smile!

More smiling ...In Dearbornistan!

DEARBORN, Mich. -- A group of Iraqi-Americans gathered late Friday at a mosque in anticipation of Saddam Hussein's execution, praying for the death of the former Iraqi dictator as drivers outside honked horns in celebration.

Dave Alwatan wore an Iraqi flag around his shoulders and flashed a peace sign to everyone he passed at the Karbalaa Islamic Educational Center in this suburb of Detroit, a city that has one of the nation's largest concentrations of people with roots in the Middle East.

"Peace," he said, grinning and laughing. "Now there will be peace for my family."

William F. Buckley smiles...Both eloquently and righteously.

The death of Saddam Hussein at rope's end brings a pleasure that is undeniable, and absolutely chaste in its provenance.

Happy Friday.

Iran Proves Holocaust just a Hoax

The Jewish Festival of Lights just ended a few days ago and I left out one photo for my post Chanukah 2006 - The Carnival of Lights:

chanukah bears

Jews will immediately recognize these to be ordinary Chanuka Bears. When Jews are not being apes and pigs and need to hibernate for a long time they turn into these lovable creatures. These Bears are in fact the answer to a question the BBC recently posed: Why are Jews at the 'Holocaust denial' conference?

Millions throughout the world were shocked to see these Orthodox Jews at the controversial Tehran debate.

Why are Jews attending a conference on the Holocaust in Tehran at which star guests include deniers of the genocide? Clue: they also want an end to the Israeli state.

Where did they come from and why did Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad embrace these filthy Jews?

Read the rest here.

Saddam's fury as hell awaits

"Don't push me, boy!"-Saddam to Beelzebub.

What a great title from the New York Daily News story by Dave Goldiner.

He's history!

An Iraqi court yesterday sentenced Saddam Hussein to death by hanging for crimes against humanity for ordering the killing of scores of rebellious Shiite villagers nearly a quarter century ago.

Smirking and clutching a Koran, the ousted dictator looked shaken but shouted, "God is great!" after the verdict was read in a heavily guarded Baghdad courtroom.[--isn't that desecrating the Koran?-- Joe S.]

"Long live the people and death to their enemies! Long live the glorious nation, and death to its enemies!" Saddam cried out after the verdict.

"Don't push me, boy," the once-all-powerful leader snapped as bailiffs took his arms and led him out on the orders of Chief Judge Raouf Abdel-Rahman.

Mohammed in Dante's Inferno--with special guest!

I heard of the verdict yesterday on the radio. I was a little saddened because in my mind hanging a mass murderer who used chemical weapons on scores of victims doesn't seem fair. At least this Hitler didn't do himself in...yet. It does cheer me up to know that when Saddam finally meets Mohammed he can tell him directly how great God really is.

New York Times: Saddam Was Going Nuclear

NYTThe New York Times is breaking the news that sensitive documents captured when Saddam Hussein was toppled. The documents outline in detail plans for building nuclear weapons. They also reveal Saddam's connections with Iran and various terrorist organizations, including al-Qaida.
Among the dozens of documents in English were Iraqi reports written in the 1990s and in 2002 for United Nations inspectors in charge of making sure Iraq had abandoned its unconventional arms programs after the Persian Gulf war. Experts say that at the time, Mr. Hussein’s scientists were on the verge of building an atom bomb, as little as a year away.

Here's the NYT article.

The New York Times and others seem to be attempting to use this information as a slam on the Bush administration immediately before the mid-term elections. Their argument is that this documentation should never have been put on the internet. They are right. Only it was Congress that authorized their release to the internet.

The part they seem to be overlooking is that this intellegence is irrefutable proof that Saddam Hussein's regime was, indeed, had nuclear ambitions and was actively pursuing nukes. It also provides proof that Saddam Hussein's regime did have a connection with al-Qaida.

It proves there was a legitimate reason to go into Iraq, aside from the reasons that I personally think were reason enough. For instance, having a standing army in the middle of the Middle East.

I think what they are saying is that the Bush administration lied about WMDs before he told the truth about WMDs.

The New York Times, along with John Kerry, the talking heads I'm hearing on television right now, and all the rest of the effete elite hold middle Americans in complete contempt.

They are so wrapped up in their own agendas that they don't seem to realize that the big bombshell is that the intelligence documents were on the internet as opposed to that Saddam Hussein was connected with al-Qaida and other enemies of the United States and was in the process of building a nuclear bomb.

hat tip: In the Bullpen

see National Review Online

Mensa Barbie says this isn't new news. She remembers the New York Times' proclivity for publishing dangerous leaks that breach national security.

Captain's Quarters has a thorough expanation of the intelligence and a points out some of the highlights of the NYT article:
That appears to indicate that by invading in 2003, we followed the best intelligence of the UN inspectors to head off the development of an Iraqi nuke. This intelligence put Saddam far ahead of Iran in the nuclear pursuit, and made it much more urgent to take some definitive action against Saddam before he could build and deploy it. And bear in mind that this intelligence came from the UN, and not from the United States. The inspectors themselves developed it, and they meant to keep it secret. The FMSO site blew their cover, and they're very unhappy about it.

Ray Robinson has a vivid reminder of Saddam's violent reign and an excellent run down of the Iraqi documents.

MVRWC
Yes, the New York Crimes is friggin’ insane. Iraq had a nuclear weapons program and was plotting to build an atomic bomb, but the Bush Administration is bad because those plans ended up online and could help Iran. Iran, who of course is only interested in nuclear technology for “peaceful purposes.” Allllll-righty then.

Theodore's World
But see ... the problem with the NYT thinking (beyond the obvious fact that they're traitors) is that it proves that Bush was RIGHT. The New York Times may think they are reporting another "gotcha" on Bush....but, this is THE gotcha that Bush has for all of the war in Iraq naysayers!!!

Bottom line is as simple as this, the DOCS are proof of Saddam having WMD and how he supported destruction and terrorism.

The Pirates Cove
Here's a thought. The Dems were shown to be completely wrong during the Reagan years vis-a-vis the Cold War and how to end it, which Reagan did. Of course, the Left claims it was Carter (snicker) who really ended it.

Now, the New York Times itself shows that Bush was right, and the Left was wrong. How do they spin this?

The Black Republican says Pay No Attention to the Dictator Behind the Nuclear Curtain.
Conservatives and Liberals alike are trying to figure out how the Democratic Party is going to spin this, and they've come up with some good ideas. But it still strikes me that the morsel people will take away from the story will be: "Saddam had the goods".

My question is: too little, too late? It depends how torqued up New Media can make the otherwise-uninformed portion of the populace between now and Tuesday. Go at it, bloggers.

Saddam should be released and sent back to Iraq

That's right. We should release Saddam and let him go back to Iraq AFTER we give him a sex-change operation. As a matter of fact, we could release ALL the Islamic terrorists we have in custody. We'll be very gentle with them - no torture or discomfort. Just give them lots of painkillers, do the sex change operation - let them recuperate with the best nursing care, and then send them home. A few days as a Muslim woman should put out the fire of their Islamic fanaticism.

(I heard that on the radio the other day - but I don't remember what show it was.)

Al-Qaeda releases Quest for Bush video game

The following is from Jesse Petrilla, Chairman of United American Committee:

Al-Qa'eda group releases Quest For Bush, a modified version of a video game designed by United American Committee Chairman called Quest For Saddam. In response, the UAC gives free copies of original version to its members while legal avenues are pursued.

A message from United American Committee Chairman Jesse Petrilla on September 19th, 2006:

As many of you may not be aware, I am a video game designer. In 2003 I designed and produced a video game titled Quest For Saddam which became quite popular. Just today I became aware from a news story on CNN that in violation of intellectual property rights a modification had been made of my game by Islamic militants called “Quest For Bush”, and was released by a propaganda wing of none other than Al-Qa'eda, called The Global Islamic Media Front. The Islamists took Quest For Saddam, keeping the same levels and gameplay, and simply changed the graphics and sounds to make it a jihad against Bush and the West, instead of a fight against Saddam and his guards as was in the original game. While I feel greatly flattered to have had my work copied by such a highly esteemed group as Al-Qa'eda, despite the slightly unnerving aspect, it is indeed in violation of intellectual property rights and we are looking into the possibility of suing Al-Qa'eda for such reasons. In the meantime, as a response to this most recent development in the ongoing saga of conflict between the UAC and Islamists, we are releasing the original version of Quest For Saddam free to all UAC members and friends for a limited time, without even asking for any information from those who wish to download the game. It's our gift.
