The Sunset of Christianity

Normally one would ask, "Who cares what percentage of Africans are Muslim, since Africa appears to present little danger to Western Civilization?" However, consider this: Ethiopia had five million people in 1900; now it has 64 million, and it's projected to have 145 million by 2050 [BBC]. The largest religion in Ethiopia? Islam.

So what we have is an increasing percentage of an increasing population increasingly becoming Muslim. Africa now has the highest birthrate in the world at 5.1 babies per baby-factory. All western European fertility rates are below 2.0, the replacement rate [Royal Geographical Society]. However, hidden inside this dismal statistic is the fact that Muslims within Europe have a birthrate twice that of Christians. So while Christian Europe is declining, Muslim Europe is increasing.

Australia To Get Muslim Political Party

Sydney - March 11, 2007 -Muslim cleric Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali announced today that Australia's 300,000 Muslims are considering forming their own political party, but one that will be be open to all faiths.

Interestingly, al Hilali, the imam of Sydney's biggest mosque, doesn't speak English despite more than 20 years in Australia, which should give you an idea of how insulated some Muslims have made themselves from Australian society and culture. The statement was translated by the former Lebanese Muslim Association president Keysar Trad.

Mr. Trad said his association drafted a proposal six years ago for a political party to be called the Australia Peace Party even printing thousands of membership forms, but canned the idea after 9/11. The party's focus was to be on universal values such as honesty, dignity and equality.

Vatican: Next Pope will be Muslim

Danish cartoon protests in Hong KongPhoto Credit: Sam Graham (click on image for larger view)

What a year! Muslims, Muslims, everywhere. We had cartoon riots, Minnesota voters send first Muslim to Capitol Hill, New UN ambassador a Muslim, the first female Muslim in space, Muslims taking over Catholic Churches in Belgium, and one-fourth of the world is now Muslim.

Although Pope Benedict XVI seems to be in good health, he is nearly 80 years old. Considering his near fatal encounter with Islam last September, it is probably likely that the 117 cardinal electors will consider making the next Pope a Muslim.

A little history: The Vatican held Muslims (as well as apostate Christians) in contempt since the time of Pope Boniface VIII (c. 1235 – October 11, 1303) with his pronouncement "extra ecclesiam nulla salus" or "If you ain't Catholic, you're going to hell."

But that all changed in October of 1965 when His Holiness Pope Paul VI proclaimed the DECLARATION ON THE RELATION OF THE CHURCH TO NON-CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS - NOSTRA AETATE: "Since in the course of centuries not a few quarrels and hostilities have arisen between Christians and Moslems, this sacred synod urges all to forget the past and to work sincerely for mutual understanding and to preserve as well as to promote together for the benefit of all mankind social justice and moral welfare, as well as peace and freedom."

It's War or Annihilation

It appears that we are closer to war between Somalia and Ethiopia.

There are reports of Arabs arriving in ships to support the Islamic opposition in Somalia. Lacking the resolve and the initiative to settle the Middle East conflict, how will the "World Community" handle this one? Talk, talk, and more talk. To everyone who thinks the US should send forces to Africa to prevent the upcoming slaughter I ask how we can do that? I do wish we could send troops there. The problem is logistical. With troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and still in Bosnia how do we send a reasonable sized and affective force to Africa?

The easiest way to get the Islamic tide to recede in Africa is to start killing them in Iraq and Afghanistan. Seeing as the battles in Africa are mostly between Arabs and Africans, we need to find a way to get the Arabs out of Africa. Killing Arab terrorists is the easiest way to do this.To prevent a full fledged World War the Middle Eastern region needs to truly feel the affect of American Might. By conducting a war as it should be, the Arabs would have to return to defend their own homes. This would give Africa a reprieve and potentially eliminate the major terrorist threat.

The most pathetic idea that the West constantly puts to the forefront to avoid war is human rights violations. Here's my question, isn't living and dying under oppression a human rights violation? Isn't government sponsored genocide a human right violation? Isn't the ritual practice of rape, torture, and murder a human rights violation? Isn't raising children to be murderers and homicide bombers a human rights violation? It's time to drop the hypocrisy. Cowardice is a human rights violation. Being unwilling to do what is necessary, whether you like it or not, is a human rights violation. Putting your childrens life at risk to defend a terrorist is a human rights violation. Telling me not to defend my family is a human rights violation.Enough is enough. It's time to start fighting.

All this talk about a draft doesn't really bother me. Although I never liked the bureaucracy of the military I did enjoy my time in the Navy. I felt like I was contibuting something. I have written about the necessity of setting up a group of irregulars. I did so in hope that somebody with the means to would take me up on that. So far, nothing. If the "World Community" will do nothing then it is up to the individual.Evil is on the march. Good men and women are dying while everyone watches on TV. The US government appears to be ceding it's power to weak and whiny nations. This doesn't bode well for the world's future.

The United States is in this position at this point of time because we are expected to wield the power we have attained for good. Not wielding this power is the equivalent to fleeing from evil. This is cowardice. Cowardice is the most evil of all vices.

"A Friend Of The Devil Is A Friend Of Mine"

...to quote the Grateful Dead.

From Random Thoughts at TROP:

Los Diablos? In reality, we suspect that former terrorist Robert Mugabe is laughing because he can't believe that anyone actually respects him.

When Mugabe took over Zimbabwe in 1980, two Zimbabwean dollars could buy one American. Now it takes 258,000. Unemployment is at 80%, and one out of four people are starving in what was once the breadbasket exporter of Africa.

More importantly, political opponents and journalists have been jailed, tortured and executed in Zimbabwe. Tens of thousands of innocents were slaughtered at the hands of Mugabe's ruthless "Fifth Brigade." Ruling party corruption has destroyed the country along with the futures of generations of Africans who deserved better.

The UN gives demagogues like Mugabe, Chavez and Ahmadinejad the pretense of respectability and the opportunity to make noise like little boys banging on garbage cans. The people who suffer most from this, however, are not those demonized by their rhetoric, but rather those whom they claim to represent.--[TROP:]

You can tell a man by the company he keeps, Mr. Chavez.
