Dr Walid Phares, is a leader of the March 14 movement and the Director of Future Terrorism Project at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies in Washington, a visiting scholar at the European Foundation for Democracy and the author of the War of Ideas. Dr Phares was one of the architects of UNSCR 1559. He is also a Professor of Middle East Studies at Florida Atlantic University and a contributing expert to FOX News. He makes the following points about the current situation and dangers in the Middle East:

The US Government is considering a new gigantic arms sale to the Saudi Kingdom, up to 20 billion dollars’ worth of complex weaponry. The proposed package includes advanced satellite-guided bombs, upgrades to its fighters, and new naval vessels, as part of a US strategy to contain the rising military expansion of Iran in the region. The titanic arms deal is a major Saudi investment to shield itself from the Khomeinist menace looming at the horizon: an Iranian nuclear bomb, future Pasdaran control in Iraq, and a Hezb’allah offensive in Lebanon.

The real Iranian threat against the Saudis materializes as follows:

1. Were the US led coalition to leave Iraq abruptly, Iranian forces — via the help of their militias in Iraq — will be at the borders with the Kingdom. Throughout the Gulf, Iran’s Mullahs will be eyeing the Hijaz on the one hand and the oil rich provinces on the other hand.

2. Hezb’allah threatens the Lebanese Government, which is friendly to the Saudis. Hezb’allah, already training for subversion in Iraq, will become the main trainer of Shia radicals in the Eastern province of the Kingdom.

3. Finally Syria and Iran can send all sorts of Jihadis, including Sunnis, across Iraq’s borders, almost in a pincer movement.

In the face of such a hydra-headed advance, the Wahhabi monarchy is hurrying to arm itself with all the military technology it can get from Uncle Sam. Riyadh believes that with improved F 16s, fast boats, electronics and smarter bombs, it can withstand the forthcoming onslaught.

I believe the Saudi regime won’t. For, as the Iraq-Iran war has proved, the ideologically-rooted brutality of the Iranian regime knows no boundaries. If the US withdraws from the region without a strong pro-Western Iraq in the neighborhood, and absent of a war of ideas making progress against fundamentalism as a whole, the Saudis won’t stand a chance for survival. For the Iranians will apply their pressure directly, and will unleash more radical forces among the neo-Wahhabis against the Kingdom. The Shiite Mullahs will adroitly manipulate radical Sunnis, as they have demonstrated their ability to do in Iraq and Lebanon.

Simply throwing money at a problem, without a vision as to how to properly spend it, has never been an effective solution. More often than not, money only exacerbates the problem it is meant to solve.

So what should the US advise the Saudis to do instead of spending hugely on arms?

First, if no serious political change is performed in Arabia, the 20 billion dollars’ worth of weapons would most likely end up in the hands of some kind of an al Qaeda, ruling over not only over Riyadh, but also Mecca and Medina. That package of wealth, religious prestige and modern arms, at this point of spasms in the region, is simply too risky strategically.

But there are better ways to spend these gigantic sums in the global confrontation with Iranian threat and in defense of stability. It needs a newer vision for the region. Here are alternative plans to use the 20 billion dollars wisely but efficiently; but let’s not count on the far reaching mainstream of Western analysis at this point:

Dedicate some significant funds to support the Iranian opposition, both inside the country and overseas. Establish powerful broadcasts in Farsi, Kurdish, Arabic, Azeri and in other ethnic languages directed at the Iranian population. That alone will open a Pandora’s box inside Iran. Realists may find it hard to believe, but supporting the Iranian opposition (which is still to be identified) will pay off much better than AWACS flying over deserts.

Slate substantial sums to be spent in southern Iraq to support the anti-Khomeinist Shiia, the real shield against the forthcoming Pasdaran offensive. Such monies distributed wisely on civil society activists and on open anti-Khomeinist groups, would build a much stronger defense against Ahmedinijad’s ambitions.

Lavish funding should be granted to the Syrian liberal opposition to pressure the Assad regime into backing off from supporting Terrorism. Without a Mukhabarat regime in Damascus, the bridge between Tehran and Hezb’allah would crumble. Hence, the Syrian opposition is much worth being backed in its own home than for Saudi Arabia to fight future networks in its own home.

Allocate ample funding to the units of the Iraqi army that show the most efficiency in cracking down on terrorists, and which prove to be lawful and loyal to a strong central Government, pledging to defend its borders, particularly with regard to Iran. That would include the moderate Sunnis in the center and the Kurdish and other minority forces in the North. A strong multiethnic Iraq, projecting a balance of power with Iran’s regime, is the best option for the Peninsula.

Grant abundant aid to the Lebanese Government, the Cedars Revolution NGOs and the Lebanese Army to enable them to contain Hezb’allah on Lebanese soil. Earmark some of these grants to the Shia opposition to Nasrallah inside his own areas. When Hezb’allah is isolated by Lebanon’s population, Arab moderates around the region can sleep much better at night.

Spend real money on de-radicalization programs inside the Kingdom and across the region. With dollars spent on moderate Imams and not on the radicals, Riyadh can shake off the radical Salafi clerics, and have an impact the Jihadists’ followers. By doing so, it will prevent Jihadism from becoming (as it has already) the only other option on the inside, if the Iranian axis will put pressure on the country.

Forward meaningful sums to support the current Somali Government against the Islamic Courts and help the moderates in Eritrea and Sudan. The best defense against radicalism coming from the horn of Africa is to support the moderates in East of the continent.

Invite the US military to abandon Qatar as a regional base and to relocate to the Eastern provinces of the Kingdom, with as many billions of dollars as required to help in reinstallation and deployment facing Iran’s threat. A military attack by the Iranian regime on Saudi Arabia would then become a direct attack on the United States.

With the remaining billions, the Saudi Government would renew, remodel, and retrain its forces so that along with its allies, the US, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Gulf states, they would deter an Iranian regime, which will be defeated by its own people.

That of course, presumes radical reforms take place, quickly, in the Peninsula. But isn’t such a hope just a desert mirage?

Indeed, the points I suggested in this article, although logical in terms of counter-radicalism strategy, have very little chance of being adopted or even considered in Riyadh. The Kingdom, sadly, wants to confront the Islamic Republic only with classical military deterrence, not with a war of ideas. Which perhaps is why the region’s “friendly” regimes have preferred not to endorse “spreading democracy” as a mean to contain Terrorism. The reason is simple: Democratic culture will also open spaces in their own countries, a matter they haven’t accepted yet.

Dr. Phares is quite rights when he notes that we cannot count on the far reaching mainstream of Western analysis at this point. Why? Because of the unrealistic and failed policies of the Realpolitik practitioners at the State Department. Not only are past Realpolitik policies directly responsible for America’s current imbroglio in Iraq, but their further pursuit will only add dangerous new fuel to the existing problem while creating many more.

It is high time for a drastic change, time to bring in people who are true experts on the Levant’s mentality. People who recognize that what works in the West does not work with IslamoFascism. Not only is there a different mentality at work, the political logic is entirely different, unless we in the West are willing to engage the IslamoFascists onIslamoFasciststhey simply perceive as weakness. Unless we nurture their own opposition within, we cannot hope to stop their growing advance.

While IslamoFascism poses as a religion, it is no such thing!!! It is merely a political idea of world conquest, which adapted some trappings of religion as a convenient disguise. It is absolutely incapable of coexisting with the West, since its underlying philosophy is in direct opposition to the West. The sooner we understand that, the sooner we get rid and bury Realpolitik and its practitioners, the better the chances of stemming the advance of totalitarianism in the form of a future One World Caliphate.

But as Dr. Phares says at the end of his article: Indeed, the points I suggested in this article, although logical in terms of counter-radicalism strategy, have very little chance of being adopted or even considered in Riyadh. Will the West wake up to the looming dangers in time? Riyadh will not likely accept Dr. Phares sensible suggestions. As long as Democrats like Nanci “The most powerful woman in the world” Pelosi continue to cuddle up to the likes of Baby Assad, we are heading the wrong way down the political pike. As long as the House of Saud’s main Consigliere, James Baker, continues to hold sway on America’s foreign policy, neither will the State Department take any action to move away, even one iota, from its bankrupt path and it certainly won’t listen to Dr. Phares’ advice. Will we in the West change our stance and deal with IslamoFascism in the only decisive language they unequivocally understand?

On Liberal Hatred of the West

Islam Watch, a site run by ex’Muslims has a few interesting things to say about Islam, that are well worth a read, It should be specifically read by those who claim that the US is a fascist entity as explained by Noam Chomsky… the enemy of the West, par excellence! If only they would bother to try and understand, through their own brains and senses, what fascism really is as defined by the creator of the word: Benito Mussolini - the Italian Fascista and Hitler’s ally. In this day and age people are too lazy to think, too lazy to read anything that may differ from whatever comfortable, fashionable, idiocy is being espoused as gospel truth by those with an agenda, by those under the pay of the very people who represent everything that liberalism should stand against. However to ask for an analysis, an explanation of those mantras so fashionably repeated, would be an unfair demand. Why, you ask? Because then one would have to ask these leftards to exert their own brains, which unfortunately have hopelessly atrophied due to their lack of use.

As long as these political sheep get a chance to scream cutsey slogans, as long as they get the chance to denounce America as the enemy of mankind, they ignore such inconvenient sentiments as these:

Khomeini tells us that:

“Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to paradise, which can be opened only for holy warriors!

There are hundreds of other [Koranic] psalms and hadiths urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all that mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.”

“Islam grew with blood . . . . The great prophet of Islam in one hand carried the Koran and in the other a sword . . . . Islam is a religion of blood for the infidels but a religion of guidance for other people.”

—Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

But of all the ideologues whose works were a source of radical inspiration to tens, if not hundreds, if not millions, Maududi is the most direct and unambiguous in his description of Islam’s ultimate aspirations:

“Islam is not a normal religion like the other religions in the world and Muslim nations are not like normal nations. Muslim nations are very special because they have a command from Allah to rule the entire world and to be over every nation in the world.”

“Islam wishes to destroy all States and Governments anywhere on the face of the earth which are opposed to the ideology and programme of Islam regardless of the country or the Nation which rules it. The purpose of Islam is to set up a State on the basis of its own ideology and programme, regardless of which Nation assumes the role of the standard bearer of Islam or the rule of which nation is undermined in the process of the establishment of an ideological Islamic State.”

“Islam is a revolutionary faith that comes to destroy any government made by man. Islam doesn’t look for a nation to be in a better condition than another nation. Islam doesn’t care about the land or who owns the land. The goal of Islam is to rule the entire world and submit all of mankind to the faith of Islam. Any nation or power that gets in the way of that goal, Islam will fight and destroy. In order to fulfill that goal, Islam can use every power available every way it can be used to bring worldwide revolution. This is Jihad.”

—Sayeed Abdul A’la Maududi, ‘Jihad in Islam’

The following comments, by other prominent Muslims, leave us in no doubt how widely these views are held.

“One day, millions of men will leave the Southern Hemisphere to go to the Northern Hemisphere. And they will not go there as friends. Because they will go there to conquer it. And they will conquer it with their sons. The wombs of our women will give us victory.”
—Former Algerian President Houari Boumedienne’s prophetic warning to Europe in a speech at the U.N. In 1974. Thirty three years later, his prediction is in the process of unfolding.

“Soon we will take power in this country. Those who criticize us now, will regret it. They will have to serve us. Prepare, for the hour is near.”
— Belgium-based imam in 1994. “De Morgen”, Oct. 5, 1994. Cited in Koenraad Elst, “The Rushdie Rules”, Middle East Quarterly, June 1998.

“The Quran should be America’s highest authority”. “Islam is not in America to be equal to any other religion but to be dominant.”
— Omar Ahmad, CAIR’s (Council on American-Islamic Relations) chairman of the board.

“I would like to see the Islamic flag fly, not only over number 10 Downing Street, but over the whole world,”
— Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed, (former leader of the extremist Al-Muhajiroun movement in Britain) in an interview with Reuters.

“I want to see the U.S become an Islamic nation.” —-Ibrahim Hooper of CAIR.

“We are not fighting so that you will offer us something. We are fighting to eliminate you.”
—Hussein Massawi, the former Hezbollah leader behind the slaughter of U.S. and French forces 20 years ago.

“Jihad and the rifle alone. NO negotiations, NO conferences and NO dialogue.”
—Sheikh Abdullah Azzam— (Osama bin Laden’s late mentor.)

“Allah revealed Islam in order that humanity could be governed according to it. Unbelief is darkness and disorder. So the unbelievers, if they are not suppressed, create disorder. That is why the Muslims are responsible for the implementation of Allah’s Law on the planet, that humanity may be governed by it, as opposed to corrupt man-made laws. The Muslims must make all efforts to establish the religion of Allah on the earth”
—Muhammad ‘Abdus Salam Faraj, “Jihad: The Absent Obligation”, p43

The enemies of America, the enemies of the West, the appeaser and false “intellectuals” will not react as they should to such statements. When Hitler told the world what he planned to do, nobody believed. Why? Because to believe him was inconvenient, uncomfortable. Nevertheless he went ahead and did just what he said he would. WWII saw the total mobilization of 100,000,000 men between all the armies, militias and underground resistance groups. Such numbers boggle the mind, yet had we only heeded Adolf Hitler’s words when he uttered them, had we taken appropriate action as soon as he spewed his venom WWII never would have taken place. Sixty million people died in WWII, twenty million soldiers and forty million civilians who were systematically exterminated because of their etnicity or creed, or who died due to disease, starvation, massacres and actual fighting.

Ahmedinajad makes no secret of his plans, Osama bin Laden whose terrorist organization is supposed to be at pre-9/11 levels of preparedness makes nmo secret of his designs, Hamas tells it like it is they clearly state that their aim is to to destroy every Jew in the Middle East and take over the Zionist Entity as a prelude to taking over Europe… yet… the enlightened members of the extreme Left do not care to see that danger. They would rather, like a cancer within, eat away at that which is beautiful in the West. None of the great Empires in history were destroyed in battle as much as they were destroyed from within. Will it again take the staggering number of hundreds of millions of dead to defeat an enemy that can still be defeated at an infinitely lower price, as we speak? Will Europe’s and the US’ left wake up in time, or is too already late?

In their own words, straight from the horse’s mouth they say: Islam is a revolutionary faith that comes to destroy any government made by man. This is Jihad. Yet, the left is too busy defending those they should oppose the most, too busy opposing those they should defend the most. Alas, I shudder to think what catastrophe will it take to wake them up?

A Christmas Wish For Islam

Courtesy of Scrappleface.com

Well, a man can always hope can't he?

My personal thoughts about "peace on earth and goodwill to men"...

In the little Wesleyan church I attended today, the minister was saying that Jesus is the gift of God's love. And because he was given to us we have freedom in our world. He said that, through Jesus, God sees no difference in man or woman, Jew or Gentile.

He said that "God is love and his only thoughts are love. God would never ask his child to strap a bomb around his waist and blow up innocent people. Nor would he demand adherence to laws that turn women into the slaves and tokens of men."

Nearly every oppressed nation rejects Christianity and embraces some form of a false religion or philosophy. Peace is not created by socialism or unity under Allah, as some would have us believe. True peace is not a change in society, but a change of heart. It is given in a quiet humble manger. Not by a murderous conquerer but by a humble saviour.

And society is all the better for it.

In recent days, we in the West have been invited to the so-called "Religion of Peace" by the likes of Mahmoud Amadinejad and Ayman al-Zawahiri. This Christmas, as always, the invitation to true peace is open to all.

Jihadi Du Jour wishes all of our readers a very Merry Christmas.

Blogroll Buzz: Infidels Are Cool and the Champion of the Dispossessed

Iran's Tragical History Tour
From Infidels are Cool: On the importance of being Mahmoud.

TIME has gone off its rocker. If I wasn’t person of the year (or you, or your neighbor, or Spongebob Squarepants), TIME would have made Iranian president Ahmadinejad its person of the year.

Their love letter to the “normal” president starts as such:

"For a man of such outsize ambition, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad tries hard to seem normal. He drives a 20-year-old Peugeot and spends a few nights a week at a modest house in a residential neighborhood of Tehran. When he visited New York City in September, his wife brought dates from Iran to save money on food. And then there is the Jacket, the bland beige windbreaker he wears even for affairs of state, projecting the image he prefers for himself as champion of the dispossessed, a global Everyman."

Funny, I imagine his wife brought those dates because she needed a snack. Did she live on the dates and eat nothing else the whole trip? Please! As for the jacket, sounds to me like he has bad taste in fashion.

Yeah, the Jacket is not that inspiring. But the photo(shop) used in the article...well that's another thing. I was thinking it looked like Ahmadinejad's version of Sgt. Pepper. It inspired me.

Click the photo to see.

Hardliners defeated in Iran's twin elections

Trounced!

Iranians have dealt a blow to President Ahmadinejad’s hardline Government, by thwarting his allies in municipal and clerical elections.

According to early results, Mr Ahmadinejad’s fundamentalist mentor who espouses cultural isolation from the West, was trailing sixth in the Tehran vote for the Assembly of Experts, Iran’s all-powerful clerical council. Reformists were also expected to seize a handful of seats on Tehran city council, signalling a comeback after three electoral defeats in the past three years.

While Friday’s twin elections may not have a direct impact on policy, the West will welcome any indication that Mr Ahmadinejad’s popularity is waning. It was the first nationwide vote since the populist swept to power 16 months ago.

The President put a brave face on the results. He said that the higher-than-expected turnout of about 60 per cent was a show of support for Iran’s Islamic system and claimed that this would help the country to confront its enemies.

“Friday’s elections were the most popular in the world,” he said. “The Iranian people have taken a decision to reach the summit of progress. As soon as they saw that the enemy wants to stop them doing something, they carried it out.”

The President’s critics interpreted the high turnout as a shift in the popular mood towards more moderate policies and away from his conservatism at home and confrontational stance abroad. They claim that Mr Ahmadinejad’s international defiance is a ruse to distract attention from failures at home. During the presidential elections, he promised to give the poor a fairer share of the country’s oil wealth, but he has yet to deliver on his pledge.

In the battle for the Tehran seat on the Assembly of Experts, Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, a pragmatic conservative and former President, was trouncing the hardline Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Mesbah-Yazdi and more than 400,000 votes ahead of his nearest rival.

Although small, the 86-member Assembly of Experts has more power than the President or parliament because it can appoint or dismiss Iran’s supreme leader. It has tended to remain out of everyday politics and that is likely to remain the case.

Good for Iran!

I like the word trounce. The next time I want to open a can of something on somebody...it will be a can of Trounce.

The Holocaust Denier's Ball

Because I found whole idea of the Holocaust Conference a disgusting exercise in bigotry and psychotic denial I decided maybe I would not cover it...

But I will let Peter Philipp explain:

The people who gathered in Tehran for the conference were hardly "scientists," and instead more like the normal traveling circus of Holocaust deniers who are not taken seriously anywhere. They are also those for whom one is only doing a favor when one approves laws banning the notion of the "Auschwitz lie." Without the law suits which ensue, these people could not keep defining themselves anew and would be reduced to accepting what they actually are: sad lunatics.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad must be in a pretty poor position if he is forced to rally support from that league to further his political goals. Those in Iran interested in history are well aware that Ahmadinejad's doubts about the Holocaust are a completely unsubstantiated provocation. He is not interested in revealing historical truth, but rather, in exposing Israel as an unjustified product of what he considers a genocide fallacy in order to strengthen his demands of abolishing Israel.

How grateful the president must have been that a handful of ultra-orthodox Jews were present in the conference hall in Teheran. He did not notice, however, that it was precisely these participants who exposed the dismal strategy of the conference organizers. They did not deny the Holocaust, but they did stress that they reject Israel as a nation. Orthodox Jews believe that the Jewish State may only evolve following the coming of the Messiah.

Contrary to his portrayals of himself: Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is no Messiah. His agenda is damaging to Iran, he forces level-headed Iranians into desperation and he intimates people abroad who speak up for the legitimate interests of Iran. He will not, however, abolish Israel as he proceeds in this vein, and will not solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. And only scatterbrains among Palestinians and others in the Arab world will consider Ahmadinejad a hero. Most of these people have long been realistic enough to accept facts -- such as Israel and the Holocaust -- and to demand a historical compromise for the Palestinian people so that Palestinians and Jews can finally live in peace and harmony.

Again I'll leave it to others to call it a mockery. Ahmadinejad has exercised his own "free speech" and hecklers at Tehran U. obliged in kind. Hey! it's a start. Let's hope they rid themselves of this maniac before he blows something up in the name of the twelfth imam.

Iran net nanny blocks YouTube and Wikipedia

IRAN has shut down access to some of the world's most popular websites.

Users were unable to open popular sites including Amazon.com and YouTube on Sunday, following instructions to filter them.

Similar edicts have been issued against the internet encyclopedia Wikipedia, the online film database IMDb.com and The New York Times site. Attempts to open the sites are met with a page that reads: "The requested page is forbidden."

The clampdown was ordered by judiciary officials in the latest phase of a campaign in which high-speed broadband facilities have been banned in an attempt to impede "corruption" by foreign films and music.

The curbs are in line with a campaign by Iran's Islamist President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to purge the country of Western influences.

Aww that's too bad. That means he will miss this little bit of "western influence".

Noble Americans called to Islam

Daydreaming of being the Islamic Billy Graham...
Ahmadinejad fulfills his Koranic duty, first to the American President and now to the Americans: Hey sign me up...not!

In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

O, Almighty God, bestow upon humanity the perfect human being promised to all by You, and make us among his followers.

Today, the path of return to faith and spirituality is open and unimpeded.

We should all heed the Divine Word of the Holy Qur'an:

"But those who repent, have faith and do good may receive Salvation. Your Lord, alone, creates and chooses as He will, and others have no part in His choice; Glorified is God and Exalted above any partners they ascribe to Him." (28:67-68)

And with that he is free to begin Islamic taxation or conquest. After all, it's in the Koran.

Iranians defiant at U.S. hostage anniversary

Of course they are...

TEHRAN - Thousands of Iranians chanted "Death to America" on Saturday outside the former U.S. embassy that students stormed on this day in 1979, reaffirming Iran's defiance as it faces possible sanctions for its nuclear work.

"Unfortunately, America has not learned its lesson from the takeover of its embassy, they should know that threats and sanctions do not affect the will of this great nation," parliamentary speaker Gholamali Haddadadel told protesters.

Demonstrators burnt U.S. and Israeli flags as well as effigies of Uncle Sam and U.S. President George W. Bush outside the former embassy which state media calls the "nest of spies".

"We are here to punch America in the mouth," student Mohsen Abdullahi said. "We want to tell the Americans and British they are nothing in the face of Iran's power."

Student Amir Hossein Ebrahimi, 14, wore camouflage fatigues. "I wore this to tell the Americans that Iranians are always ready to join the army and defend our country," he said.

"By relying on God, the Revolutionary Guards will use different types of modern equipment and advanced tactics to destroy the enemies' advanced systems," the semi-official Fars news agency quoted the Guards' land forces commander Brigadier-General Mohammad Reza Zahedi as saying.

"We hope the enemies have no ominous intentions and will not repeat their past experiences," he said.

Hardline Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has spearheaded Tehran's defiance of U.S. efforts to impose sanctions against Iran. Since he came to power a year ago, Ahmadinejad has also reversed the former administration's drive to reform the Islamic Republic and bring in more open government.

Remember this beauty?

Don't worry about that Mahmoud. We'll be more than glad to help get you a real "open" govenment just like that guy next door...what's his name again? Just remember to keep your tighty whities clean.

Ahmadinejad's Ultimatums

It's good to read the words of those who have declared war against us, lest we forget that this IS a Global war on Terrorism and forget the danger we are in by politicizing the war that was waged against us.

On October 20, 2006, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave an address to the Iranian people really, it was a rant). The address was aired on Jaam-e Jam 1 TV. Here are some excerpts ....

Here's looking at you, kid!Mahmoud Ahmadinejad:
This [Zionist regime] was established in order to swallow up the entire region, and to place it at the disposal of the world forces. It is a big lie that it was done in order to protect those killed in World War II, and in order to compensate them.

Over 60 million people were killed in World War II. Let's assume you are right, and six million [Jews] were among those killed. How come none of you mourn the other 54 million? Why don't you pay reparations to them? Why don't you ever think about them? All your sorrow, your pity, your mourning cries are over [victims] who were counted by I don't know whom...

Obviously, some of the Western countries are being held hostage today by the Zionists. Some Western countries have been paying reparations for 60 years. We sent letters and messages, and asked them: "When will these relations, which evolved from World War II, come to an end?" A war broke out 60 years ago, and some considered themselves the victors in this war. They occupied Palestine. They set up bases throughout the world, and want to act aggressively against all the peoples. They also gave themselves privileges in the international forums, and the other peoples must submit to their control. We asked them when these relations would come to an end. We asked the leader of one of these countries: "Until when will your people have to pay reparations?" For two generations? Three generations? For a 100 years? A 1,000 years? A few thousand years?

The existence of this regime is so essential for these countries that in some of them, they even built monuments. You know that every country builds monuments for the objects of their pride. They take their children, from an early age, to show them these monuments, in order to help them develop their identity, and to instill in their memory the things that make them proud, in order to feel power and honor. In some of these countries, they set up monuments, whose purpose was to degrade that very nation. From an early age, they take their children and say to them: "Look, our ancestors were murderers. Our ancestors used to burn people. We are in debt."

Something happened three generations ago. Let's assume it was true. What is the crime of the youth born in Europe today? What is the crime of people living in the world today that they have to pay reparations so high they cannot even be calculated? The peoples have to pay any sum decreed by America and England. What is the reason for this? When will there be an end to these claims? What is their limit? What does America have to do with this? Why does America extort the world, under the pretext of the Holocaust? Why does England extort [the world]? Wasn't it England that laid the foundations for the fear that led the Jews to flee to the occupied lands?

They said: "We want to establish a place for the survivors." How many survivors were there? With false promises, you gathered the wretched people from Africa, South America, Asia, and North America, and you brought them there. You banished one people from its land, and you want to create another people by force. Why? Why? Are all those now living in Palestine survivors of the war? We asked [these Westerners]: "The current leader of the Zionist regime – where did his parents live? Where were they?" As you know, some of the leaders of the Zionist regime are in fact Iranians.

[...]

The life of this regime depended on military threat, military force, and the legend that it was invincible. Today, with God's grace, this false legend has collapsed, with the help of the young believers of Palestine, and thanks to the believing, self-sacrificing commanders of Hizbullah. Today, the Zionists do not feel secure even in their own homes, anywhere in the world.

Today, this community, which was gathered by force, and under false pretexts, and whose members were joined to one another by a paper-clip, in order to create a false illusion of a nation... Today, they have fallen apart. I declare here, loud and clear: With God's grace, this regime has lost the philosophy of its existence.

Watch your hands, Mamoud.

I said to them: If you do not agree, open the doors, open the gates, and allow these uninvited guests return to their countries. Let them return to their homeland. If the Western countries that support the Zionists feel sympathetic toward them, they should give them financial aid, so that they can live in their own countries.

[...]

We have some advice for the supporters of this regime. We say to them: First of all, do not seek a new crime. Every crime being perpetrated today, every youth who dies in Palestine today, every home that is demolished, and every incursion into the neighboring countries will be accredited to the supporters of this regime, and the nations will exact their revenge.

[…]

Our proposal is as follows: Since you brought [this regime] over there, you yourselves pick it up, by the arms and legs, and remove it from there. This will make the peoples of the region improve their attitude toward you. These will be the first steps to a long-lasting friendship with the peoples of the region. This will be to your advantage.

You may say: "We feel uncomfortable doing this, because the Zionists control our countries, the propaganda machinery is at their disposal, and if we want to gain voters, we need their money and their support. Therefore, we feel uncomfortable doing this."

Fine. We made you another proposal: Allow that which you advocate take place in Palestine. After all, you advocate democracy, and you claim that the peoples should control their own destiny. So let the Palestinian people decide upon its own path by means of a referendum. In response, you say: "We might lose our reputation." Our response is: You have no reputation left anyway! Where do you still have a reputation anywhere in the world?

In the recent war in Lebanon, you saw with your own eyes that the whole world was against you. Even in Argentina, where the Zionists devise conspiracies, generate strife, and put pressure on the Argentinean administration, the people took to the streets.

[...]

This [Zionist] regime is on the verge of death, and we advise you to start thinking about your long-term interests and long term relations with the peoples of the region. At the end of the day, these are all ultimatums. No-one should complain tomorrow. The things are stated clearly.

[...]

What is this Security Council anyway? The whole world knows that America and England are the enemies of the Iranian nation.

Crowd: Allah Akbar.

Allah Akbar.

Khamenei is the leader.

Death to those who oppose the rule of the jurisprudent

Death to America

Death to England

Death to the hypocrites and Saddam

Death to Israel

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: They have taken control of the leading positions in the Security Council, and have the right of veto, and they are prosecuting and judging us, and they want to carry out the verdict. Sir, this is the logic of pharaonic times. The days of this logic are over. The Security Council, in its present condition, is illegitimate. Its resolutions are illegitimate. Do you want to be the judges, the rulers, the prosecutors, and those who carry out the verdicts? These days are over. Nobody accepts this behavior of yours. Even the illiterate old women of the Himalayas will not accept this behavior of yours.

Wishing You Were Me.The islamofascists believe they defeated the what they once believed to be the invincible Israel in Lebanon. They are emboldened.

Ahmadinejad's proposal to Britain and the United States is to take Israel out of the Middle East in order to improve our relations with the Middle East. He then proposes that the West allow Palestine to determine their own destiny by destroying Israel.

He blames Israel for every bad thing that happens in the Middle East and of controling the world. He sees the failure of Israel to prevail in Lebanon as a sign from God that Israel is weakened and as he said, the world is against the West.

He then declares that Israel is on the verge of death and tells us clearly that these things are ultimatums.

He completely rejects the validity of the United Nations and any sanctions that are proposed.

There are those in the West who think we need to talk with Ahmadinejad and reason with him. How do you reason with an unreasonable man? With a meglamaniac actually.

Leaving Iraq would leave a vacuum there that Ahmadinejad would be more than happy to occupy. It is my belief he is already providing weapons for the insurgents. They are getting increasingly sophisticated weapons and al-Qaida operatives are coming there from all over the world.

The islamofascist are emboldened by the weak response of Israel to the invasions of hezbollah and hamas. They are emboldened by the media reports that the American people have turned against the war and are demanding the President pull troops out of Iraq. I have seen reports on islamic websites stating they expect American troops will be out of Iraq by the end of this year. They are celebrating the defeat of the Republicans in the upcoming elections and declaring victory over the mighty Amercian Army. They are emboldened.

They have been warning us, Osama bin Laden and Ahmadinejad, that they intend to destroy us. There has been a recent al-Qaida warning to Canada. Yet there are still those that refuse to hear the warnings and still insist on blaming the United States for their problems.

It's all part of Ahmadinejad's apocalyptic vision.

I think it's time we really listen to what our emeny is telling us.

Ahmadinejad Delivers Jihad Ultimatum To Europe

“This is an ultimatum. Don’t complain tomorrow.” These are the words of Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Europe today.

As the Security Council session to determine the sanctioned fate of the Islamic Republic looms, Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad used the occasion of al-Qods Day (Jerusalem Day) to rally the Muslim world and openly threaten Europe. Rather than directly condemn European nations such as Britain, France and Germany for supporting sanctions over the Iranian nuclear program, Ahmadinejad instead used the al-Qods Day event to condemn them before a broader Muslim audience for their support of the state of Israel. He openly threatened European states, saying that their continued support of Israel would soon hurt them.

Argued Ahmadinejad, “You should believe that this regime (Israel) cannot last and has no more benefit to you. What benefit have you got in supporting this regime, except the hatred of the nations?” He went on to send Europe an unveiled threat, saying, “We have advised the Europeans that the Americans are far away, but you are the neighbors of the nations in this region. We inform you that the nations are like an ocean that is welling up, and if a storm begins, the dimensions will not stay limited to Palestine, and you may get hurt.” It was in a speech on al-Qods Day last year that Ahmadinejad declared that Israel should be “wiped from the map.”

On Glenn Beck this week, President Tom, as Beck likes to call Ahmadinejad, was quoted, speaking from his religious beliefs, of bringing the "pure man of peace", the hidden Immam, about in his presidency. It was a segment about scriptural prophecy and the end times from a more or less Christian perspective. If Christians don't believe they are living the "end times" our sworn enemies seem to. You do know who the one who brings war and says, "Peace, Peace" is in Christian literature, don't you? Yes, the Antichrist. Perhaps we are speaking the same language here after all.

A Tale Of Four Nazi's ...

Here's an excerpt of an interesting article from the Iranian Journal:
The Real War today (as Richard Nixon would say) is between the Gang of Four Nazis - Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, and Cuba - and the UN anti-Nazi coalition led by the US, Russia, and China. The Gang of Four Nazis, led by Iran, is out to overturn the post-WW II peace agreements and the UN system, as President Ahmadinejad has expressly stated on more than one occasion. It is a paradox that North Korea, which owes its very existence to the post-WW II settlement, should join this anti-status quo Nazi coalition. North Korea should be considered the weak link in the Gang of Four Furthermore, The G-4/Nazi Axis is in rebellion against the post-WW II liberal economic order. To overturn this order, the G-4/Nazis are adopting policies and rationales that are drawn directly from Hitler and Mussolini and their ritual denunciations of the Jews, the Communists, and the "Anglo-Saxon Plutocrats..."
This sounds alot like what both Ahmadinejad and Chavez were saying between some of their more sensational speeches at the UN a couple of weeks ago.

There are parts of the article that I disagree with. For example. I don't think that the US has been undermining the UN, nor do I see China and Russia as especially stabalizing influences in the Middle East.

However, there are some interesting ideas, click here for more.

"A Friend Of The Devil Is A Friend Of Mine"

...to quote the Grateful Dead.

From Random Thoughts at TROP:

Los Diablos? In reality, we suspect that former terrorist Robert Mugabe is laughing because he can't believe that anyone actually respects him.

When Mugabe took over Zimbabwe in 1980, two Zimbabwean dollars could buy one American. Now it takes 258,000. Unemployment is at 80%, and one out of four people are starving in what was once the breadbasket exporter of Africa.

More importantly, political opponents and journalists have been jailed, tortured and executed in Zimbabwe. Tens of thousands of innocents were slaughtered at the hands of Mugabe's ruthless "Fifth Brigade." Ruling party corruption has destroyed the country along with the futures of generations of Africans who deserved better.

The UN gives demagogues like Mugabe, Chavez and Ahmadinejad the pretense of respectability and the opportunity to make noise like little boys banging on garbage cans. The people who suffer most from this, however, are not those demonized by their rhetoric, but rather those whom they claim to represent.--[TROP:]

You can tell a man by the company he keeps, Mr. Chavez.
