Multiculturalism, Anticulturalism

Celebrating and coexisting with other cultures besides one’s own is very laudable… on paper! For multiculturalism to succeed, all sides must be interested and open to each other, the moment one side uses multiculturalism to weaken the other, multiculturalism is not only bound to fail, but will result in the destruction of the Western way of life. Cry Islamophobia and Let Loose the Dogs of War

The Muslim oversensitivity to any perceived insult is in directly inverse proportion to how much hate Muslims themselves are willing to display for others.

If you go by Muslim standards, removing a man wearing a t-shirt with Arabic words off a plane is an unacceptable display of Islamophobia, but banning an Israeli tennis player from Dubai is completely legitimate.

Drawing cartoons of Mohammed as a terrorist is not acceptable, but calling for the deaths of the cartoonists is. Writing a book parodying Islam is unacceptable, but murdering the book’s translators around the world is reasonable.

Israeli checkpoints on the Gaza border are unacceptable examples of apartheid, but Saudi Arabia barring all non-Muslims from entering the city of Mecca or from holding Saudi citizenship– is their right.

Obviously “apartheid’ is an epithet to be thrown only at the Jewish Zionist Entity, if for no other reason than to subliminally make you think of the word NAZI. great way to dem Jooz‘ goat, ain’t it?

A protest against Hamas and Al Queda that desecrates their flags, which have verses from the Koran on them, is unacceptable offensive to Muslims– but Muslim student associations waving those same flags is something that no one may question.

A Muslim “refugee” who is arrested for illegally entering a European country is being imprisoned solely out of “Islamophobia”, as are the terrorists held in Guantanamo Bay– but Westerners who enter a Muslim country lose all rights and may be imprisoned, tortured and flogged on the flimsiest of allegations from a Muslim.

Western countries expecting that a Muslim woman remove her Hijab for an ID photo is Islamophobia. However Muslim countries have the right to demand that even the House Speaker and First Lady cover up their hair when visiting a Muslim country.

Isn’t that a fair price to pay for the success of multiculturalism in the West?

When a Muslim man has woman’s underwear put on his head, while detaining for trying to kill American soldiers, that is the vilest crime against humanity. However when Muslim men hang and flog women for adultery… that is their culture and we have no right to judge. Not unless we’re Islamophobes, that is.

Muslim paranoid fears of Western culture can legitimately express themselves in banning magazines, Valentine’s day celebrations and movies. However any Western resistance to the Koran or Arabic is a clear sign of Islamophobia.

A Koran in a toilet is a hate crime. However burning the contents of the Library of Alexandria because “if it’s not in the Koran, it’s superfluous”, is a legitimate expression of Muslim views on non-Muslim literature.

Prejudice against Muslims is unacceptable. But Muslim prejudices against women, Jews, Christians, gays, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, Atheists, and just about everyone else– are part of their culture. And who are we to judge if they feel they have a right to hate and kill anyone who isn’t a Muslim male.

They cry “Islamophobia” and they even get a compliant, submissive, UN to declare it a crime. All the while their own Infidel-o-phobia and their own despicable misoginy is far worse than any real or perceived islamophobia… but neither the United Nations, nor any human rights organizations, nor even any feminist groups have been heard making any sound to protest the all too obvious prejudices lurking in the hearts of IslamoFascists!

The problem with all of these examples is that Muslims want to have it both ways. On the one hand they want a blank check that allows them to treat any negative feedback as Islamophobia. On the other hand they want to be able to express any degree and form of hatred for others and support for terrorism in public forums without any repercussions.

What Muslims really want is Political Correctness for us, and none for them. They want a chain around our necks with the leash in their hand, while the other hand waves a Hizbollah flag. And that can’t work.

If Danish cartoonist can’t draw Mohammed, then Muslim protesters should at the very least be unable to call for the murder of their political opponents. If Christian pastors are to be censored for denouncing Islam, then the Finsbury Park Mosque rabble should be too.

What the multiculturals fail to perceive is that there is no give and take. Islam (in its current form) has no interest in sharing the planet with the infidels. To that end, it will use the infidels’ own laws and institutions to destroy it and turn the world into an Islamic empire. The Muslim Brotherhood makes no secret of such a plan, so many of its offshoots around the world make no secret of such a plan and yet the multicultural crowd foolishly believes that by bending over backwards they are bound to inspire love. They will, but it certainly won’t the kind of love, they crave for…

The Canadian Arab Federation decided to host pro-Hamas articles on its site, to push for airing Al Jazeera in Canada, to participate in openly terrorist rallies and then respond to criticism by insulting the Immigration Minister. But naturally the consequences of all that only came due because of Islamophobia.

Muslims have gotten too comfortable sweeping a lot under the rug by crying Islamophobia. But that implies that they actually wish to be part of a tolerant multicultural society, where everyone’s rights are respected. By their actions and agendas however, that is not the society they wish to be a part of. Neither in Ridyah, Tehran, Gaza, Karachi or London, Paris and Detroit.

It is up to Muslims themselves to decide what role they wish to play abroad and in the global culture. They can be intolerant fanatics who stay at home and expect everyone else to stay at home too. Or they can be open and tolerant enough to live side by side with others. But they can’t be intolerant fanatics who expect us to be tolerant and open toward their fanatical intolerance. Not on our dime.

That is the problem, and it is a Gordian Knot that Muslims can either try to untie themselves, or someone will wind up cutting through it for them.

Multiculturalism has wittingly or unwittingly turned out to be the most sexist, most prejudiced form of fascism… Whoa hold it there, you say gently reader. I know you are thinking that was one idiotic, ignorant prejudiced statement, right?!?!? Was it? How many honor killings have those professing Islam committed throughout the West, just in in the last five years? How much intolerance and total disreespect towards the West have they shown, both in the West and in their own lands? In Sweden the number of rapes has grown in geometrical proportions ever since the number of Muslim immigrants has increased, and not coincidentally the overwhelming percentage of rapists profess Islam as their religion!

For those who naively believe that Islamists living in the West will come to embrace our culture as much as you embrace theirs, for those of you who naively believe that everything above is merely fear mongering, for those of you who believe that while there may be a few bad apples masquerading as Muslims, just like there are despicable mysogynists right here in the West, Muslims regard women as equal let me cross-post something from my friend Punx, over at The Liberal Heretic:

Play: Choose the Correct Curse, I Mean Verse, In the Quran

Play Choose the Verse (and sura): First, you must imagine you’re a faithful Muslim, and as the man in the family, you’re responsible for the moral behavior of the women you’re related to. 2.) Follow up to number 1. You have accused your wife of lewdness, but you have no witnesses willing to support your accusations. Not a problem, choose the sura that will get you out of this sticky situation

If you chose b or c, you’re the son of a mangy camel! Every good Muslim man knows the Quran guarantees that if no “witnesses” can be found, just the word of the man is good enough in its book.

*Sura XXIV, 6: And for those who launch accusations against their spouses and have no evidence but their own, Their solitary evidence can be received if they bear witness four times With an oath by Allah, That they are solemnly telling the Truth.

3.) After disposing of that pesky wife (above), you still have 3 more. One is young and beautiful, so you don’t really want to get rid of her, but she CAN be a pain. Didn’t she just yesterday suggest that you take Mohammed Blvd. instead of Allah Way as a shortcut to the bazaar? How dare she? Choose the correct verse to support your discipline regimen.

Will my female readers acquiesce and submit to any Muslim masters? No, ladies, my question did not refer to the submissives ones among you; my question was meant for every Western woman who prides herself of being a woman and not just a male plaything.

Will my male readers quietly, passively, sit back and just let IslamoFascism take over and trample on our values, and our lifestyle? On August 17, 1945, George Orwell published Animal Farm. It remains a classic that exposes totalitarianism and how it unobtrusively takes over a society. In Orwell’s allegory the pigs refer to the Soviet Union. In this the early 21st Century the pigs came to represent precisely those who most hate the symbol! The pigs are the IslamoFascists who rail against the West, while enjoying the welfare of Western societies, while living at taxpayers’ expense and using Western freedoms and rights to destroy westerners’ freedoms and rights.

Towards the end of Orwell’s Animal Farm the animal are shocked to see that certain rules have changed, a new one says: All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others. Every ethnic group, every religious group that ever came to the West, while keeping its major customs and traditional values, managed to successfully integrate into the host society. That is… all except one which refuses to integrate, all except one who aims to take take over and convert or destroy every infidel as they slowly and efficiently subvert western rule of law… The time has come when we must make these pigs understand unequivocally, that in spite of their illusions of grandeur, they are NOT more equal but… they are merely behaving like PIGS!!!!

Asalamu aleykum: No we Americans are not Islamophobics

Why is it when Americans voice their right of freedom of speech regarding the growing trend in America to appease Muslims and Islam, dissenting saying this is wrong, we are labeled Islamophobics? Muslims do not mind pointing out how the U.S. or the West in general is lascivious, sinful, and not living according to ~~Allah’s~~ God’s will. And by who’s standards do they judge us by? They judge us by their standards of Islam. Now what if we were to label them Christianophobics, Judeophobics, or Westernophobics? Muslims in this country and around the world would be outraged, and rightly so.

Now tell me where is the true outrage amongst Americans’ or other Western countries in reference to being labeled Islamophobics when we do not compromise to the dictates of Islam? It was once said to me when I was living in Egypt that I must try to stop changing peoples views to a Western view of ideology. I was advised to remember that your country is like your blood, it is always with you - that I was to conform to the Egyptian lifestyle, no one would conform to my Western views or ways of lifestyle while in Egypt.

That was sound advise and true. We all have heard the saying, "while in Rome do as the Romans do." Certainly that does apply to Muslims choosing to live in the U.S. or any Western country. After all, we did not force them to come to our nation, we did not hold them hostage to remain in our country. It begs the question I asked in one of my previous articles regarding this very issue. If it is so uncomfortable to live in a Western society then why come here if we are so evil? I would think that one would want nothing to do with a nation and its citizenry if it is so abstract from ones beliefs that one feels incompatible with a society so different in their ways culturally and religiously.

Everyone that has come to the U.S. legally has come to improve their standard of living - to obtain a piece of the ‘American’ pie. I would begrudge no one that right when it is done legally of course. I do not begrudge any Muslim that is honest and good - or any person of any religious persuasion or ethnicity that fundamental right. It is God’s gift to humanity to live free and in peace amongst one another. However, it has been man and his desire to control lands, peoples, dominate by religion or ideology that have hindered this God given gift.

I do not believe Americans are Islamophobic any more than I believe I am an infidel. People that lay stakes to such claims and labels I tend to believe are the persons suffering from the very nature of prejudice that they accuse others of. Not all Muslims believe Americans are Islamophobic, infidels, or evil, but those that do make it very difficult for moderate Muslims to live any place comfortably and or without controversy.

When I lived in Egypt I really never missed many of my freedoms from home. Basically I could come and go as I chose. Certain taboos were explained to me, which I observed out of respect to their country and citizenry, but I was not restricted except when it came to speaking of the government. Of course Egypt is a dictatorship and when you live there, citizen or not, you keep your opinions to yourself and never say anything contrary to the establishment. That was my only restriction.

Now when I lived in Saudi Arabia - that was a totally different scenario all together. Aside from observing the customs of the land - any foreigner male or female had to adapt to and abide by Islamic law. This meant I could not come and go freely, I could not, as in Egypt, speak against the government - in that case the King and the Royal Family. I had to wear the nijab. I could write some horror stories about American women that refused to wear the nijab and were beaten on their legs for ‘exposing’ themselves. I could have been rebellious and refused to wear the nijab, but wisdom at times dictates even when one does not personally agree with it. My point in sharing this with you is that I learned while living in a foreign country - even a country such as Saudi Arabia that I never felt safe or secure in - I had to observe the laws of the land and respect the religion of the land.

So I ask you why can’t that also be implemented in the U.S.? I am not saying Muslims should not practice their religion, but should Muslims force their religious beliefs, restrictions, and or doctrine on a nation just because they are not comfortable in how we believe and live? They came to this country no more ignorant than I did when I chose to live in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. I knew what I was letting myself in for and so does every Muslim know what they are letting themself in for by coming to live here.

The ideology taught in Islam is to live amongst the infidel (or non-Muslim) peacefully and perhaps persuade them to your beliefs by kindness and peace. The Q’uran does also teach that if after a time you cannot win them (the infidel) by your behavior then to take them over by the sword. We have seen this happening in the wake of 9/ll and even prior dating back to the 1970’s with airplane hijackings and making unrealistic demands by holding people hostage. It does not work, but those Muslims acting out terror continue on in the vein of Jihad (or Holy War).

Muslims are not the only religious group to stake claims to terrorism. Christians are guilty of the Crusades and then the terrorism that plagued Ireland for years-the killing of so many Muslims in Kosovo and many more over the centuries. But todays headlines are filled with terror attacks around the world and suicide bombings in Israel and unfortunately for the moderate Muslim it has made their lives difficult. Not all Muslims are terrorists but all the terrorists are Muslim.

By calling Americans or any Westerner Islamophobic because we do not agree that the means justifies the end is just wrong. Should we call all Muslims terrorists? No, of course not. The trend in our country to label people with acronyms is alarming. What ever happened to agreeing to disagree?

No we Americans are not Islamophobics - but we are a Judeo-Christian nation founded on those principles and it is wrong for anyone to come to this nation expecting us to change the very foundations of our country just because it does not conform to their religion and or customs. The Hispanic populous has done this quite successfully. Spanish is becoming the language of the land while English speaking Americans are taking a back seat. They have set the ground work for all other minorities to persuade the government and judicial system that they have these rights because we are a ‘free nation’. Yes, we are a free nation - but we are not free to minimize the beliefs and customs of one set of peoples to accommodate another. There is enough room in America for all peoples to co-exist. After all, most Saudis living here at one time or another have made contributions to building neighborhood Mosques, but you could never build a church in Saudi Arabia. So I find it extremely hypocritical and insulting when Muslims refer to Americans as Islamophobic.

America gives so much money to Arab nations without asking for accountability. But ironically the U.S. has never given Israel money, only loaned money to Israel and made at times ridiculous demands on Israel in order for them to receive the loan. We support Arab nations financially, but loan Israel money. But Americans are Islamophobic?

Perhaps Muslims who are feeling threatened by the American way of life need to choose if they want to continue living in this nation, or at the very least watch who they call Islamophobic - because America is the least Islamophobic nation and peoples in the world supporting their nations financially, respecting their culture, and religion.

Our America is not ~~Allah’s~~ America-our America belongs to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. If any Muslim does not know that - you have now been told. If any Muslim has a problem with that - there are plenty of Muslim countries to reside in. If a Muslim chooses to live in the U.S., respect our country - it is you that must adapt, not us.

We are not Islamophobic, we are Americans that have welcomed Muslims into our nation with open arms. But we are Islamophobic?

Waiting For The Mahdi

Waiting for the Mahdi: Official Iranian Eschatology Outlined in Public Broadcasting Program in Iran

The website of the governmental Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) has posted a lengthy document titled "The World toward Illumination." The document is a transcript of an IRIB series on the imminent arrival of the Mahdi, the Twelfth or Hidden Imam, awaited by Shi'ites as the Messiah.(1)

The program describes in glowing terms the messianic age to be inaugurated by the Mahdi. He is to begin his uprising in Mecca, and then march on Iraq, where he will establish his "seat of world government" in the city of Kufa and subjugate the current world powers. This will be an age of unparalleled happiness; there will be completely new technologies at mankind's disposal, and "corruption, war, and rebellion will no longer exist." Neither will "liberal democratic civilization."

Various days of the year are mentioned as being propitious for the appearance of the Mahdi, though the program says that the precise date cannot be known.

The series also includes, in parts not reproduced here, a lengthy polemic against the West, focusing on Evangelical Christians, Zionism, Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, and Hollywood. It also gives a historical survey of Western thinking, from Saint Augustine to Francis Fukuyama.

The following are excerpts from the transcripts of the World Toward Illumination program from the IRIB website, in the original English:(2)

(1): "Miracles of the Messiah Will Soon Be Here"

"...Where is man moving to? What will happen in his future? What fate will today's nations and civilizations have in the future? Will they destroy one another? Will a power, nation or civilization prevail? And finally to what direction will the speed of technology and modernity take man?...

"In the current era new interpretations of happiness and prosperity for man have been brought up. In these interpretations there is talk about welfare and worldly tranquility. Some believe that science and material progress automatically bring about prosperity, and man can attain sublimity on earth... But the world's reality shows that man more than any other time is searching for prosperity and tranquility. The daily increasing production of destructive weapons, domineering tendencies, racist wars, genocide and instability of world markets, all threaten the world's security and tranquility. Now western rulers under the slogan of liberal democracy are tyrannically and oppressively looting the capital of oppressed nations. The weakness of the family foundation, crime, violence, narcotics, human trafficking, anxiety and depression have faced the world's future with serious danger...

"...We invite you to tune in to our next programs to see how the future will turn out to be. And we invite you to listen to an inspiring poem.

"Be joyous my heart, miracles of the Messiah will soon be here

"The scent of breaths of the One we know comes from near

"Grieve not of sorrow and melancholy, as assured I was... last night

"That a Savior will come, it's clear."

(3): "How Beautiful and Auspicious Will Be the Day when the World is Cleansed of Deceit"

"How beautiful and auspicious will be the day when the world is cleansed of deceit and mischief and the government of justice is established throughout the world. On that day the perfume of life will begin to circulate within humans and the aroma of narcissus, irises and chrysanthemums will fill their soul. Undoubtedly such a day is nigh.

"Seeking pure water so thirsty am I,

"Moonlight surely appeals to my eye

"Oh bright dawn I desire you as I sigh

"The luminous sun I seek or I die..."

(6): "We Must Get Ready to Search for the Liberal Democratic Civilization in History Museums"

"...The West due to a lack of spirituality and morality is not able to respond to man's needs. Lack of attention to man's sublime needs in these societies has created social and cultural crises. Thus this civilization like those of many other Western theoreticians is just an unreal theory. It seems that in the same way that the Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini predicted the fall of communism we must get ready to search for the liberal democratic civilization in history museums."

(12): "Everything Will Be New and Fresh Like Spring"

"Undoubtedly, history will not end with the memory of man's failures; man's ultimate fate is not weakness and inability; and the sun will undoubtedly not spare its vital rays from anyone. Many Iranian poets have spoken of the rise of the sun at dawn and consider man to be worthy of living in a bright and beautiful world full of the aroma of spirituality, where there is justice and equality...

"Contrary to the views of western theoreticians, who usually depict an ambiguous and dark future for mankind, Muslim experts believe human history, despite its many ups and downs, has a very auspicious fate, and with the appearance of the Imam of the Age, Hazrat Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), finally the world matters will gain order. Muslims believe hopes for the realization of such a happy ending for the world, are called 'Awaiting Redemption', and means waiting for man's problems to be solved by the Savior at the end of time. This awaiting influences many, and inspires them with activity and enthusiasm in confronting darkness and oppression for changing the existing situation...

"When that Promised Person who is the direct descendent of the Prophet rises up, the sun of justice and freedom will shine on the hearts and he with his kind hands will extend friendship throughout the world. His face will be attractive and his look charismatic. He is humble before God's greatness. He is a manifestation of God's glory and beauty. Imam Mahdi is the perfect human being. His behavior is praiseworthy and his manners immaculate. He is the embodiment of justice. His torch of guidance is for all mankind...

"In short, when he reappears, peace, justice and security will overcome oppression and deceit and one global government, the most perfect ever, will be established. He will make the earth prosper in a way in which no ruins will remain. Man's maturity will reach its height, full equality will be established among the people, and no one will be arrogant toward the other and will not try to dominate others. Finally, corruption, war and rebellion will no longer exist and everything will be new and fresh like spring."

(13): "Pure and Sincere People Must Be Trained to Help the Savior in His Implementation of Global Justice"

"Sometimes incidents that occur in the world are like an insignificant but infectious pimple that suddenly explodes. Some theoreticians support this view and believe that nothing should stop this volcanic explosion and we should allow corruption to extend so much that the prevailing system would disintegrate. But the uprising of Imam Mahdi... is not like this. This uprising is like a fruit that must pass through stages till it is ready to be picked. Thus, if the Savior has not yet appeared it is not because the world is not full of oppression, but because the time must come for the people to be wise enough and ready to accept justice. Pure and sincere people must be trained in order to help the Savior in his implementation of global justice..."

Monday November 20, 2006: "The Seat of the Mahdi's Global Government Will Be the City of Kufa" in Iraq

"He will appear as a handsome young man, clad in neat clothes and exuding the fragrance of paradise. His face will glow with love and kindness for the human beings and because of this reason a famous hadith from the Prophet of Islam... has referred to him as Inn-al-Mahdi Tavous ahl al-Jannah, which means 'Indeed the Mahdi will be like a Peacock among the People of Paradise.' He has a radiant forehead, black piercing eyes and a broad chest. He very much resembles his ancestor Prophet Mohammad... Heavenly light and justice accompany him. He will overcome enemies and oppressors with the help of God, and as per the promise of the Almighty the Mahdi will eradicate all corruption and injustice from the face of the earth and establish the global government of peace, justice and equity.

"Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) will appear all of a sudden on the world scene with a voice from the skies announcing his reappearance at the holy Ka'ba in Mecca. The cloak and other special belongings of Prophet Mohammad... will be with him. He is the essence of all good and the mirror reflecting the characteristics of the 124,000 Prophets sent by God for the guidance of mankind since creation. He calls on all and says I am Baqiat-Allah or the Repository of God on earth. The Prophet had said: Mahdi will appear with a cloud moving above his head. From the sky it will be announced that the hands of the oppressors have been cut and the best of men from the progeny of Mohammad has taken over the leadership. Then the birds will lay abundant eggs and the fish will exceedingly reproduce, the rivers will flow in all their glory and the springs will gush forth from the earth, and the fruits will be multiplied."

"In our discussion of the world in the last days of the earth we had said in our previous editions of this program that no source has pointed to the exact date when the Savior will appear and only God knows about the exact timing of the reappearance of Imam Mahdi... The Prophet had said: He will certainly appear and if only a day were to be left to the end of the world God will make that day so long for Mahdi to appear and rise. There are various versions of the exact day of his reappearance. Some say it would be Friday and the date will be Ashura or the 10th of Moharram, the heart-rending martyrdom anniversary of his illustrious ancestor, Imam Husain... Others say the date will be the 25th of the month of Zil-Qa'dah and may coincide with the Spring Equinox or Nowrooz as the Iranians call [it]. A saying attributed to the Prophet's 6th infallible heir, Imam Ja'far Sadeq... says the Mahdi will appear on the Spring Equinox and God will make him defeat Dajjal the Impostor or the anti-Christ as the Christians say, who will be hanged near the dump of Kufa....

"Then he will be joined by 313 of the most devoted believers, equivalent to the number of those that had accompanied the Prophet at the Battle of Badr, the first armed encounter imposed by the infidels on the Muslims. Imam Mahdi and steadfast devotees will gather in Mecca; the people of Mecca will be surprised at the presence of so many faithful. These enlightened individuals will pledge allegiance to the Mahdi...

"After his appearance the Imam would remain in Mecca for some time, and then go to Medina. According to narrations, Sofyani, a descendant of the Prophet's archenemy Abu Sofyan, will seize Syria and attack Iraq and the Hejaz with the ferocity of a beast. The Sofyani will commit great crimes against humanity in Iraq, slaughtering people bearing the names of the infallible Imams, and his army will lay siege to the city of Kufa and to Holy Najaf. Of course, many incidents take place in this line and finally Imam Mahdi sends troops who kill the Sofyani in Beit ol-Moqaddas [i.e. Jerusalem], the Islamic holy city in Palestine that is currently under occupation of the Zionists. Soon a pious person from the progeny of Imam Hasan Mojtaba... meets with the Imam. He is a venerable God-fearing individual from Iran. Before the Imam's appearance he fights oppression and corruption and enters Iraq to lift the siege of Kufa and holy Najaf and to defeat the forces of Sofyani in Iraq. He then pledges allegiance to Imam Mahdi.

"Another beautiful moment of the Savior's appearance is the coming down of Prophet Jesus... from heaven. Hazrat Mahdi receives him courteously and asks him to lead the prayers. But Jesus says you are more qualified for this than me. We read in the book Tazkarat ol-Olia, 'the Mahdi will come with Jesus son of Mary accompanying him.' This indicates that these two great men... complement each other. Imam Mahdi will be the leader while Prophet Jesus will act as his lieutenant in the struggle against oppression and [for the] establishment of justice in the world. Jesus had himself given the tidings of the coming of God's last messenger and will see Mohammad's ideals materialize in the time of the Mahdi. The seat of the Mahdi's global government will be the city of Kufa, where his headquarters will be the Sahla Mosque, presently outside the city that was the home of Prophet Idrees or Enoch long before the great deluge of the times of Prophet Noah. From here he will dominate the east and the west to fill the earth with justice...

"God will enliven the earth through the Mahdi after the corruption and vice wrought by the oppressors and sinner[s]. Thus his appearance will take place when morality and humanity have reached a dead end. The people's yearning for justice in the midst of all the oppression allows him to carry out his mission. In our time, many pray for his appearance and each day they renew their allegiance to him. "O God, make me one of his companions, show me his respected and bright visage, and hasten his reappearance."

"When the sun of freedom and justice shines, the sounds of a rider coming from afar will be heard. The winds obey him, and in his presence the turbulent seas and fiery storms will reach the shore of calmness. The appearance of the Savior will make the fragrance of eternal justice embellish the soul of the earth. The Mahdi... himself will say, my existence is the cause of security and peace for the world people.

The writer of the book Imamate and Mahdaviyat, says: the idea of placing humanity under one religion irrespective of their color, gender, language, class and ethnicity is a gift given by Islam to humanity..."

Monday December 25, 2006: "The Unjust System of Distribution and Denial of the Rights of Nations Will End with the Reappearance of Imam Mahdi"

The sky will repeatedly rain and the earth will hide none of the things it can grow."

A dangerous eschatology given the violent hands that handle it.

A Christmas Wish For Islam

Well, a man can always hope can't he?

My personal thoughts about "peace on earth and goodwill to men"...

In the little Wesleyan church I attended today, the minister was saying that Jesus is the gift of God's love. And because he was given to us we have freedom in our world. He said that, through Jesus, God sees no difference in man or woman, Jew or Gentile.

He said that "God is love and his only thoughts are love. God would never ask his child to strap a bomb around his waist and blow up innocent people. Nor would he demand adherence to laws that turn women into the slaves and tokens of men."

Nearly every oppressed nation rejects Christianity and embraces some form of a false religion or philosophy. Peace is not created by socialism or unity under Allah, as some would have us believe. True peace is not a change in society, but a change of heart. It is given in a quiet humble manger. Not by a murderous conquerer but by a humble saviour.

And society is all the better for it.

In recent days, we in the West have been invited to the so-called "Religion of Peace" by the likes of Mahmoud Amadinejad and Ayman al-Zawahiri. This Christmas, as always, the invitation to true peace is open to all.

Christian Pastor Executed in Indonesia

Rev. Irianto Kongkoli was shot twice in the back of the head while he was shopping in Palu, the capital of Central Sulawesi province of Indonesia.

A Christian priest has been shot dead on Indonesia's Sulawesi island, where religious tensions are high after the execution of three Catholic militants.

The Rev Irianto Kongkoli was shot in the head while shopping in Palu, the capital of Central Sulawesi province.

It was part of a wave of religious violence between 1999 and 2001 that left more than 1,000 people dead.

The Rev Kongkoli was buying construction materials at a shop when he was targeted, a spokesman for the provincial government's information bureau said.

"He had finished bargaining for some tiles when someone called him back into the store. When he entered, two shots were fired at the back of his head," Jethan Towakit told Reuters news agency.

Rev. Kongkoli had been outspoken against the executions of three Christians last September. Indonesia is home of the largest number of muslims. There has been violence between Christians and Muslims there since 1998.

The reports of the violence in Indonesia refer to 'religious violence' and to fighting being Christian and muslim mobs or gangs. But with a couple of exceptions, the horrors that are reported are muslim against Christian. The incidents in which the violence was initiated by Christian groups, it was in retaliation for horrors like the beheading of young Christian girls walking to school.

Remember, about 19 million muslims in Indonesia support violent jihad against the West and Western interests.

Odd, the United States isn't in Indonesia but they are still having violent acts perpetrated by muslims. Since 1998. I don't think this is the fault of the United States.

This is more evidence that the jihad against the West is not just about us finding bin Laden. Doing away with bin Laden won't take care of this problem. This is why we are in Iraq, it is why it's a much bigger problem than one person or one terrorist cell.

This is why it's called the Global War on Terror.

Muslim Clerics Reaching Out To The Pope

From Random Thoughts @The Religion Of Peace:

This is almost more than we can stomach. Twice now we've come across the news headline "Muslim Clerics Reach Out to the Pope" to describe an open letter by 38 Muslim scholars to Benedict XVI in response to his suggestion that Islam has a violent history. One would think that the pope is a lonely or deeply disturbed man, needing the company of others to set him straight in his ways as these scholars are so graciously doing.

In fact, the letter was sent the day after Muslims in Iraq beheaded a Priest after holding him and torturing him for two days because they were angry at the Pope's words. They not only cut off his head, but his other limbs as well. There is no mention of this in the letter. Perhaps it occurred too late for the scholars to incorporate it into their text. Fair enough.

But wait! There is no mention of the Catholic nun who was gunned down at a children's hospital by a disgruntled Muslim nearly a month earlier or the other Christians who were killed around the same time. As a matter of fact, there is no mention at all of any of the brutal acts of violence that the Islamic religion pours out on the world each and every day.

Instead, the letter is a study in narcissism, trumpeting the virtues of Islam while blatantly failing to apologize for or even acknowledge its crimes past or present.

This is the reality of the Muslim world today. It is deeply self-consumed and emotionally immature, so willing to blame anyone but itself for the smallest of problems by which it is affected, while pathologically incapable of taking responsibility for the horror that it inflicts on others.

Yes, there is a dialogue that desperately needs to take place, but it is within Islam itself.

Yes Indeed! Self-consumed and emotionally immature. So Allah and Mohammed trump all other prophets and expressions of God? Even to the condesending (and murdering) of all other religious leaders? I guess that's ok in their view. Remember this?

Anjem Choudary said, "The Muslims take their religion very seriously and non-Muslims must appreciate that and that must also understand that there may be serious consequences if you insult Islam and the prophet.

"Whoever insults the message of Mohammed is going to be subject to capital punishment."

He added: "I am here have a peaceful demonstration. But there may be people in Italy or other parts of the world who would carry that out.

"I think that warning needs to be understood by all people who want to insult Islam and want to insult the prophet of Islam."

As well as placards attacking the Pope such as "Pope go to Hell", his followers outside the country's principal Roman Catholic church also waved slogans aimed at offending the sentiments of Christians such as "Jesus is the slave of Allah".

Suppose we just say Death to the Mullahs (scopes be upon them) for insulting religion in general! They are so easily insulted that the joke is now not will they be insulted but with what?

Killing isn't enough for Islamists

Why is it that the Islamists around the world, specifically in Iraq right now, can't just kill their victims?

Kidnapping, detaining, killing isn't enough for them, they must slowly torture, mangle, decapitate, then display their victims. And what is even worse is that the victims are not just strong healthy men, they are the old, the weak, women, children, babies. The Islamists who do this are evil, barbarians, uncivilized, unfit to live in the modern world. They want to bring civilization down to their level. How can you deal in a civilized manner with these people? You can't. You cannot negotiate with them, you canot reason with them, you can only defeat them. That is the only thing they understand.

What do they have against their victims? Nothing other than they are not Sunni, or not Shiite, or not Muslim... Their victims are just available. These Islamists are not men, they are scum.

The bodies of 17 Shiite construction workers were found in an orchard outside Baghdad, kidnapped and decapitated in apparent retaliation for an attack on Sunni Arabs last week, and at least 14 other people were killed Saturday, mostly in sectarian violence around the country.
The workers' headless bodies were found Friday outside the city of Duluiyah, 45 miles north of Baghdad, along with four other unknown victims, also beheaded.

The killings of the workers were apparently retaliation for the Wednesday kidnapping of three Sunni Arabs in Duluiyah by a Shiite militia based in Balad, police said. The three were killed and their bodies burned.

Under pressure to take stronger action to put an end to militia violence, the Shiite-led Interior Ministry intends to carry out significant changes in high-level positions at the ministry, which is in charge of the police. source

Members of the 'ministries' are corrupt, have been sited for human rights violations, are complicit in the violence and killing. Members of the Iraqi military and police are guilty and complicit. How do you tell the good guys from the bad guys?

Around dawn, a Shiite family of four were killed in Mahmoudiya, about 20 miles south of Baghdad, army Capt. Oday Abdul-Ridha said. Abdul-Ridha said assailants dressed in military-style uniforms had stormed into the family's house. [snip] In Baghdad, an employee of government-run TV was killed in a drive-by shooting Friday night, police said. source

It doesn't matter who you are, what your job is, whether you are male or female, adult or child, you are a target for mutiliation and death if the Islamist can get his nasty hands on you.

Evil lives in the hearts of these men.

Clashes over Ramadan soap operas

A T.V. show angers Saudi Arabian and Egyptian religious conservatives.

Cairo--Recent years have witnessed the emergence of a new Ramadan tradition in the Arab world. It is the annual controversy provoked by TV programmes made to cash in on another modern Ramadan ritual - that of families spending long hours in front of the television set, often from sunset, when Muslims break their fast, until sunrise, when they resume it.

This year these programmes have caused uproar in both Saudi Arabia and Egypt, pitting religious conservatives against those of a more secular bent. The Saudi satirical series Tash Ma Tash, a Ramadan staple for 14 seasons, has this year angered conservatives by taking on the religious police who tour the kingdom's public spaces ensuring that women are adequately covered, the sexes do not mix and shops shut down for prayers.

In one episode, set in a bucolic village in an unnamed country closely resembling Saudi Arabia, officials, dubbed "the guardians of virtue", ponder how best to ensure that women riding donkeys should be kept "protected" from men on the roads. One guardian proposes digging tunnels for women only, while another suggests females should sit in closed wooden boxes atop their animals and navigate using periscopes. Eventually a wall is built dividing the village into sections for men and women.

Viewers will not have missed the episode's fierce satire which takes repeated swipes at the ban on females driving in the kingdom, the resistance to women working and the double standards governing the treatment of the sexes. Predictably Tash Ma Tash has angered conservatives, prompting some preachers to lead their congregations in prayers calling on God to bring down his wrath on the programme makers.

Now THAT'S Entertainment! At least it's only God they are asking to bring wrath...just yet.

Remember the USS Cole

Today is the sixth anniversary of the bombing of the USS Cole.

On October 12, 2000, the USS Cole (DDG 67) was attacked by homicide jihadists while docked at port in Yemen. It was one in a series of attacks by the terror organization al-Qaeda. This attack, along with all the previous attacks on U.S. interests by al-Qaeda, was treated as a criminal act rather than an act of war. The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, declared the perpetrators of this cowardly act would be held accountable. But no action was taken against the jihadists. Therefore, the jihadists who perpetrated this act had the opportunity to continue to plot and plan further acts of terrorism against the interests of the United States and other Western nations.

The most recent attack on the United States by the terror organization al-Qaeda was September 11, 2001.

We Are Not The Same

My diocese newspaper had an interesting article in it which caught my attention. It is by Father Ron Rolheiser and can be read on his website, www.ronrolheiser.com. In the piece he is describing the "last testament" of a monk/missionary who was martyred by members of the religion of peace. The testament is a moving account of forgiveness and acceptance of a fate that eventually was his.

In the commentary that followed he makes a statement about the two faiths, Christian and Islam, which caused me to shudder:

What this extraordinarily courageous Abbott calls us to is what's deepest inside Christianity and all authentic religion, namely, a solidarity with others, all others, that's based upon a common God and a common humanity, a fact that relativizes every other difference. We are brothers and sisters, all of us, Muslims and Christians, and everyone else, under one gaze of love from God.

But that's not easy to see, nor accept, when daily we are hating, imprisoning, torturing, and killing each other in the name of God and our respective values. What Father Christian invites us to is to live out of the Gospel, not out of our feelings.

What! Has he been talking to Rosie? I'm sure that the good Father Ron had the best intentions in encouraging an ecumenical dialogue but I would disagree that we, meaning Christians, are hating torturing and killing in the name of God. No matter how you analyze the world situation...it is Islam which has cornered the market on those things.

I would appreciate it if the people who are supposed to be speaking for Christ (and/or for me) would refrain from implicating me in some wrongdoing and have the "chutzpah" to place the blame where it belongs.

Al-Qaida in Iraq: 'Kidnap Westerners', 'Christian Dogs'

Al-Qaida's leader in Iraq called for the kidnapping of Westerners to swap for a Muslim cleric jailed in the United States, according to an Internet audio tape issued on Thursday.

"I call on every holy fighter in Iraq to strive during this holy month (Ramadan) . . . to capture some dogs of the Christians so that we can liberate our imprisoned sheikh," said the speaker, identified as Abu Hamza al-Muhajir [aka. Abu Ayyoub al-Masri].

He accused U.S. jailers of "torturing" Egyptian cleric Omar Abdel-Rahman, held over links to the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center in New York.

The speaker also called for attacks on U.S. military camps in Iraq using "unconventional bombs such as biological and dirty bombs."

More of the same? The Religion Of Peace celebrating Ramadan. Hmmmm. Holy indeed!

During the month of Ramadan, Muslims gain more than a cleansing of the body and mind. Muslims feel that they are doing the work of getting closer to Allah through prayer, and are becoming more compassionate people by experiencing hunger, learning about the suffering of the poor. The fast of Ramadan is a central experience in the Islamic religion.

So Abu's got it wrong.

The most compassionate thing a Muslim can do then is not to kidnap Christian dogs but rid themselves of a Muslim pig instead.

Los Diablos? In reality, we suspect that former terrorist Robert Mugabe is laughing because he can't believe that anyone actually respects him.

When Mugabe took over Zimbabwe in 1980, two Zimbabwean dollars could buy one American. Now it takes 258,000. Unemployment is at 80%, and one out of four people are starving in what was once the breadbasket exporter of Africa.

More importantly, political opponents and journalists have been jailed, tortured and executed in Zimbabwe. Tens of thousands of innocents were slaughtered at the hands of Mugabe's ruthless "Fifth Brigade." Ruling party corruption has destroyed the country along with the futures of generations of Africans who deserved better.

The UN gives demagogues like Mugabe, Chavez and Ahmadinejad the pretense of respectability and the opportunity to make noise like little boys banging on garbage cans. The people who suffer most from this, however, are not those demonized by their rhetoric, but rather those whom they claim to represent.--[TROP:]
