Politically Correct Speaking

No one but a most reprehensible bigot would claim that every Muslim is a terrorist. Such a generalization would not only be untrue but it would also be undeniable proof of the speaker’s despicable racial prejudices. Neither can it be denied, however, that in every major terrorist event around the world over the last few years… the perpetrators were all Muslims!!! Today’s International Herald Tribune reprints an article by Jeff Jacoby from The Boston Globe, where he decries Political Correctness and the incorrectness of its results:

Is radical Islam connected to terrorism? Notable British voices spoke out on that subject after Britain’s recent terrorist near-misses - the two unexploded car bombs in London’s West End and the fiery SUV rammed into the main terminal at Glasgow’s international airport.

Consider what four of those voices had to say:

One declared that the word “Muslim” must not be used in connection with terrorism, and insisted that even the phrase “war on terror” should be scrapped.

The second likewise cautioned against pointing a finger at Islam, contending that in London, “Muslims are . . . less likely to support the use of violence to achieve political ends than non-Muslims”

The third, asked whether Muslim extremists might be responsible for the attempted atrocities in London and Glasgow, counseled: “Let’s avoid presumptions. . . . It can be the work of Muslims, Christians, Jews or Buddhists.”

Obviously the one who made the first statement has never learned that a disease can only successfully be cured if the treatment deals with the full disease rather with one or two of the symptoms. The second statement, is even more idiotic! There are no Christian priests, no Jewish Rabbis, or Buddhist heads of ashrams preaching violence on British society, or on any elements of that society. Preaching violence is a daily occurrence, however, for some radical Muslim Imams.

In spite of anti Christian, anti semitic, anti Buddhist cartoons constantly appearing in British publications there never were demonstrations (violent or otherwise) against said publications or their cartoonists. Nobody has asked for the heads of the culprits, while Muslims demonstrators have violently demanded just that. No Christians, Jews or Buddhists have ever requested that Britain replace its laws with laws approved by any of these religions, Muslims have in the past and are now violently demanding that Sharia law replace British law. Muslims are . . . less likely to support the use of violence to achieve political ends than non-Muslims?!?!? Methinketh, the particular speaker has seriously misspoken. Don’t you think so, gentle reader? As for the third statement it is disingenuous at best, another blatant attempt at clouding the true facts!

By contrast, the fourth noted the resemblance of the latest terror attempts to “other recent British Islamic extremist plots,” pinpointed “Islamic theology” as “the real engine of our violence,” and described British jihadists as “mindless killers” who have “declared war upon the whole world.”

The first three statements, disingenuous but quite politically correct, were made respectively by 1) Britain’s new prime minister, Gordon Brown; 2) London Mayor Ken Livingstone, and 3) Daud Abdullah, deputy secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain.

Just days before the second anniversary of the deadly 7/7 London transit bombings, and less than a year since 24 British Muslims were arrested for plotting to blow up passenger jets over the Atlantic, the three men spoke as if they had no inkling that Britain is a battleground in militant Islam’s global jihad - as if only a boor or a bigot could imagine that Muslims might somehow be linked to the car bombs in London and Glasgow.

And the fourth statement? Those were the blunt words of Hassan Butt, a onetime spokesman for the radical Islamist organization al-Muhajiroun, who has renounced his former life.

In an essay published last week in the Daily Mail, Butt emphasized that jihadists are motivated not by opposition to British or U.S. foreign policy but by a fundamentalist theology that seeks to subject the entire world to “Islamic justice.” Radical Imams teach their followers that they must fight for Dar al-Islam (the House of Islam) against Dar al-Harb (the House of War - i.e., infidels to be defeated). And “in Dar al-Harb, anything goes, including the treachery and cowardice of attacking civilians.”

By turning a blind eye to the radical theology of the jihadists, Butt says, mainstream Muslim institutions make it easy for the extremists to recruit new followers. His words apply equally to political leaders like Brown and Livingstone: “They refuse to broach the difficult and often complex truth that Islam can be interpreted as condoning violence against the unbeliever - and instead repeat the mantra that Islam is peace, and hope that all of this debate will go away.”

Wars cannot be won through denial and willful blindness. Yet in ways large and small, Western leaders and institutions deliberately avert their gaze from the reality of the Islamist threat.

The fact remains that most of these Islamic preachers of hatred and violence and most of these violent felons (yes, gentle reader, they use the excuse of religious teachings and extremist interpretations to commit violence and rejoice in it!), came to the West to better their lives, to find opportunities unavailable in their countries of origin. They came to live on the public dole! Ah, what gratitude! Extremist Imams who use every means of emotional and psychological pressure to mold their flock into unthinking robots that can be mobilized for whatever nefarious deed these preachers deem necessary, happen to be also Muslims in spite of what London’s laughingstock Mayor Ken Livingstone may claim.

The UN secretary general, Ban Ki Moon, blames global warming, not Sudan’s jihadist regime, for the genocide being carried out in Darfur. A leading candidate to succeed President George W. Bush, Illinois Senator Barack Obama, maintains a lavish campaign Web site, complete with detailed position papers that have nothing to say about radical Islam’s aggressive war.

For a politician who is running for public office to conveniently ignore an inconvenient truth is, sadly, a part of the political game. For the Secretary General of the UN, to refuse to call it as it is, to refuse to acknowledge the racial cleansing being practiced in Sudan by ethnic Arabs, is criminal. Not only does it in no way alleviate the plight of the victims but his is merely an attempt at grandstanding, by pushing fashionable (though highly questionable) pseudo science as the excuse for unspeakable violence. Shame on you, Ban Ki Moon! UN Secretary Generals may come and go, but things stay the same…

Another candidate, former senator John Edwards, prepares a 5,200-word speech to the Council on Foreign Relations - and devotes just 19 of them to the menace of Islamic extremism.

The obfuscation is sometimes almost comical. The New York Times, reporting the Glasgow attack on Page 1, carefully avoided using the M-word to identify Britain’s Muslim terrorists. Instead it attributed the 7/7 bombings to Britain’s “disenfranchised South Asian population” and reported that the terrorists in Glasgow “were South Asian.” (As Joel Mowbray pointed out for Powerline, Indian Hindus are Britain’s largest South Asian demographic.)

Similarly, seven reporters contributed to AP’s story on the arrested jihad-doctors (”Diverse group allegedly in British plot”), yet somehow missed the radical theology they presumably shared.

Political correctness is no strategy for victory. Islamic fascists will not hate us less if we avoid all mention of the theology that inflames them. Winning the war the jihadists have declared - the war of Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harb - begins with moral clarity. Denial is a luxury we cannot afford.

Edwards, the “$400 haircut, working man’s candidate” is too vacuous and too much of an airhead to seriously tackle an issue that might alienate some potential voters. Frankly, his chances of being the next Democrat candidate for president are less than mine… and I’ve already made it very clear that I’m not even running!

As for the New York Times risible attempts at journalism… well… a rapidly plunging readership is a very eloquent statement as to that publication’s political slant is worth! Talking about the AP’s Political Correctness… you can rest assured that had the terrorists been Jews or Christians, their religion would not have been omitted. I guess that is because as Jews or Christian we would have been appalled, dismayed and enraged for our co-religionists to have turned to terror and we would waste no time in demanding swift punishment. That is so unlike the M people, isn’t it?!?!?

The word Islam is not derived from salaam - peace, it is derived al-silm which means submission or surrender. Let’s call it like it is gentle readers, Islam is not the religion of peace, Islam is the religion of submission! Between the useful idiots (who in their fashionable hatred and total ignorance reject all the West represents) and the taqiya - deception perpetrated by the IslamoFascists, truth and facts are laid by the wayside, discarded as inconvenient.

That is so true! Will any of the politicians in the West, have the courage to stop obfuscating the truth? Hasn’t the time come to eradicate this cancer within, before the whole Western body perishes?

Alexander Litvinenko Dies of Tiny Nuclear Bomb

What difference does it make to us if the Russians murdered a former KGB spy and defector? Should it really matter to us at all? Most of us never heard of Alexander Litvinenko prior to a couple of weeks ago.

A lot has been written on blogs about him in the last week or so and nobody needs me to repeat it all here.

There are ripples to this murder that are, or should be, felt around the world. One is that Russia is once again thumbing it's nose at the world. That's nothing new. To the best of my knowledge, there hasn't been a time when Russia gave a moments consideration to what the rest of the world thinks/thought. Why should they? They have their own problems to worry about and WHAT would or could anyone do about Russia?

Napolean and Hitler both met defeat trying to invade Russia. Their only real threat is if the U.S. were willing to go head-to-head with them. They have reason to be increasing secure in the notion that we have been greatly weakened and don't have the will to hold them at bay.

Our infrequent, distrustful and uneasy alliances with Russia have been in order to defeat a common enemy. Otherwise, we have watched Russia with a wary eye as I suppose, they have watched us.

Another ripple is that they are shutting down dissidence. It has been well documented that Litvinenko has been speaking out against the regime of Putin. He was stopped. Why did he need to be stopped? What else is going on?

As much as the dems like to screech at the tops of their voices how they are being silenced in their criticism of the Bush administration, not one of them have been killed for doing so.

Litvinenko died of nuclear radiation. His death bed claim is that he was poisoned at Putin's order. He was murdered with polonium 210, an element used in triggering nuclear weapons. This is such a powerful substance, that following his death in London, the British have found radiation in the places Litvinenko visited in the days following his poisoning. Which brings another ripple, will others die of radiation poisoning after contact with Litvinenko?

This also has resulted in a tense diplomatic problem between Britian and Russia.
Detectives and scientists expressed open astonishment that such an elaborate and evil Cold War-style hit could happen Britain, describing the murder as ‘unprecedented’ and ‘mind-boggling’.

It threatened to cause a serious diplomatic rift between Britain and Russia, at a time when relations are at their worst since the end of the Cold War

Litvinenko's father, in his grief, expressed what was one of my first concerns about another ripple in this story. They killed him with at tiny nuke - and they have big nukes.

"My son died yesterday and he was killed by a little tiny nuclear bomb.

It was so small that you could not see it. But the people who killed him have big nuclear bombs and missiles and those people should not be trusted.

[snip]

This regime is a mortal danger to the world.

Which brings us to a very alarming ripple.

Russia delivers air defense missile system to Iran. Russia claims this is a legitimate sale. Just as Iran claims their development of nuclear capablilty is benign. Neither can be trusted and both are not our friends.

Litvinenko tells us in his final message.

But as I lie here I can distinctly hear the beating of wings of the angel of death. I may be able to give him the slip but I have to say my legs do not run as fast as I would like.

I think, therefore, that this may be the time to say one or two things to the person responsible for my present condition.

You may succeed in silencing me but that silence comes at a price. You have shown yourself to be barbaric and ruthless as your most hostile critics have claimed.

You have shown yourself to have no respect for life, liberty or any civilised value. You have shown yourself to be unworthy of your office, to be unworthy of the trust of civilised men and women.

You may succeed in silencing one man but the howl of protest from around the world will reverberate, Mr Putin, in your ears for the rest of your life.

May God forgive you for what you have done, not only to me but to beloved Russia and its people."

It seems to me that the death of a former KGB spy and defector does matter to us. It should matter a great deal. We need to wake up and hear what is happening around us.

MI5: over 1,600 people planning terror plots

Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller calls it as she sees it.

The head of MI5 has warned the agency is dealing with up to 30 alleged "mass casualty" terror plots in the UK and abroad involving more than 1,600 individuals.

Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller said MI5 and the police are tackling 200 groups or networks totalling more than 1,600 identified individuals in the UK who are "actively engaged in plotting or facilitating terrorist acts".

She said the terror plots involved plans for suicide attacks with some being directed by al-Qaeda.

Dame Eliza's assessment came in her first public speech since the July 7 terror attacks last year, to an invited audience of academics in east London.

She warned of the prospect that weapons of mass destruction could be used in future terror attacks in the UK.

Dame Eliza said: "Today we see the use of home-made improvised explosive devices, but I suggest tomorrow's threat will include the use of chemicals, bacteriological agents, radioactive materials and even nuclear technology."

She told her audience that MI5's caseload of UK-based terror sympathisers - many of them British citizens - had increased by 80 per cent since January.

She voiced concern that many of those involved were young men and teenagers as young as 16, who were being radicalised by friends and by material viewed on the internet.

Dame Eliza quoted statistics suggesting there was widespread sympathy for terrorism within Britain.

"If the opinion polls conducted in the UK since July are only broadly accurate, over 100,000 of our citizens consider that the July bomb attacks in London were justified," she said.

Dame Eliza added: "More and more people are moving from passive sympathy towards active terrorism through being radicalised or indoctrinated by friends, families, in organised training events here and overseas. Young teenagers are being groomed to be suicide bombers."

She said she was alarmed by the "scale and speed" of radicalisation in the wake of the July 7 bombings.

Dame Eliza said: "It is the youth who are being actively targeted, groomed, radicalised and set on a path that frighteningly quickly could end in their involvement in mass murder of their fellow citizens or their early death in a suicide attack or on a foreign battlefield.

"Killing oneself and others in response is an attractive option for some citizens of this country and others around the world.

"(The) threat is serious, is growing, and will, I believe, be with us for a generation. It is a sustained campaign, not a series of isolated incidents. It aims to wear down our will to resist."

Some reaction to this UK Terror Alert here:

DAME PAULINE NEVILLE-JONES, FORMER CHAIR OF THE JOINT INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE

"If I were in her shoes I think that I would want the citizenry of this country to have some understanding of the security situation that we face.

"I think the days are long gone and I think welcomely long gone, when it was right for government to say 'You can rest secure, government knows what it's doing, we will keep you safe and don't bother your little heads'.

"We can't rest secured. We are sufficiently vulnerable, she knows that she can't necessarily guarantee always to intercept, and therefore I think the right thing is to let us know what she considers the situation to be."

Dame Pauline said that Dame Eliza was indicating what she believed was an issue that needs to be tackled partly by government and partly by "society as a whole".

"It's very, very important we don't treat the roots of this issue as being something where it's for the Muslim communities - and they are plural - to conform themselves somehow to a settled community that has its own ideas," Dame Pauline said.

"We've got to do this together."

Could this be too little too late for the severely radicalized UK?

IHTISHAM HIBATULLAH OF THE BRITISH MUSLIM INITIATIVE

Ihtisham Hibatullah said he was concerned about the stigmatisation of the whole Muslim community following Dame Eliza's claim that 200 groups were involved in plotting.

He said doing so was "completely unfair and unjust against the whole Muslim community" and accused the government and security services of "dragging the Muslim community along in such a way where it creates more hatred towards the community and Islam."

"For the government to accuse 200 organisations and more than a thousand individuals in the community with plotting to endanger the country's security implies that the whole of the Muslim community is under suspicion, which is completely unacceptable.

"The Muslim community is working with all faith groups and different spectrums of the community to form an alliance to create an atmosphere of dialogue."

Indeed I think in the UK the whole Muslim Community is duly under suspicion. What is needed is a little less talk and a lot more action. The UK has been asking the Muslim community to cleanse itself of these nuts. The response has benn only more Muslim councils that want to be a part of the process, or direct the process via the backdoor. At least the UK Government has the nerve to say it. Can you imagine the bloviating from CAIR and the ACLU if such bluntness were acceptable here in America? No, in the US, Islam is the "religion of PC".

Prince Charles of Arabia

Charles & CamillaBritain's Prince Charles is advocating world peace through the teachings of Islam. He asserted this belief in a speech recently while visiting the Middle East with his barefooted bride, Camillia, Duchess of Cornwall.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 31 (KUNA) -- Prince Charles Tuesday said that the world problems could be resolve by following Islamic teachings, as Islam is a religion of peace and brotherhood.

Prince Charles while addressing a ceremony during his visit to Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) stressed on better relations between Islam and other religions.

He said that clash of civilizations could be averted by following the teaching of Islam and Quraan.

The would-be King of England has a long history of defending the Islamic faith. Daniel Pipes has a time line of events and speeches in which Prince al-Charles exhibits a more than passing interest in things muslim.

Earlier this year, Prince Charles indicated he that when he takes the throne of England and become head of the Church of England, he would like his coronation ceremony to include that he will be the 'Defender of Faiths' rather than the 'Defender of Faith'.

Last year the prince traveled to Americato attempt to convince George Bush and the American people of the merits of Islam.

The Prince, who leaves on Tuesday for an eight-day tour of the US, has voiced private concerns over America's "confrontational" approach to Muslim countries and its failure to appreciate Islam's strengths.

The Prince raised his concerns when he met senior Muslims in London in November 2001. The gathering took place just two months after the attacks on New York and Washington. "I find the language and rhetoric coming from America too confrontational," the Prince said, according to one leader at the meeting.

[snip]

Prince Charles, who is about to embark on his first official foreign tour since his marriage to the Duchess of Cornwall, wants Americans - including Mr Bush - to share his fondness for Islam. He has agreed to attend a seminar on religions at Georgetown University, Washington, on Thursday: the only event where he will not be accompanied by the Duchess.

[snip]

A year earlier Prince Charles made a speech, acclaimed throughout the Arab world, on relations between Islam and the West. He urged the West to overcome its "unthinkable prejudices" about Islam and its customs and laws.

He spoke warmly of the West's debt to the culture of Islam and distanced moderate Muslims from misguided militants. "Extremism is no more the monopoly of Islam than it is the monopoly of other religions, including Christianity," he said.

Linda is a little outraged by his desire to teach us to share his fondness of islam.

The United States of America has done more to promote freedom throughout the world than any other country. We have sacrificed more and given more of ourselves, our people, our money and our time to stand up for freedom throughout the world. We will continue to do so, and we will never share your "fondness" for the monsters who killed those children in Beslan, who blew up the trains in Spain, who bomb pizzarias and buses in Israel, who flew planes into the WTC, and yes, who blew up your countrymen on July 11, 2005. These are the same people who are blowing up innocent Iraqis even as they try to rebuild their lives after Saddam.

Also at The Cotillion

The Queen is suffering from a bad back
and may have to miss the opening of parliament on November 15th. Emergency plans are being drawn up in case she won't be able to reign over the ceremonies.

All of this leaves one to wonder what happens when the Queen of England, Elizabeth II leaves her throne in the hands of the likes of Charles. Islam is at war with Britain and the would be king seems more the King of Dhimmitude than the King of England and Defender of the Realm.

Ahmadinejad's Ultimatums

It's good to read the words of those who have declared war against us, lest we forget that this IS a Global war on Terrorism and forget the danger we are in by politicizing the war that was waged against us.

On October 20, 2006, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave an address to the Iranian people really, it was a rant). The address was aired on Jaam-e Jam 1 TV. Here are some excerpts ....

Here's looking at you, kid!Mahmoud Ahmadinejad:
This [Zionist regime] was established in order to swallow up the entire region, and to place it at the disposal of the world forces. It is a big lie that it was done in order to protect those killed in World War II, and in order to compensate them.

Over 60 million people were killed in World War II. Let's assume you are right, and six million [Jews] were among those killed. How come none of you mourn the other 54 million? Why don't you pay reparations to them? Why don't you ever think about them? All your sorrow, your pity, your mourning cries are over [victims] who were counted by I don't know whom...

Obviously, some of the Western countries are being held hostage today by the Zionists. Some Western countries have been paying reparations for 60 years. We sent letters and messages, and asked them: "When will these relations, which evolved from World War II, come to an end?" A war broke out 60 years ago, and some considered themselves the victors in this war. They occupied Palestine. They set up bases throughout the world, and want to act aggressively against all the peoples. They also gave themselves privileges in the international forums, and the other peoples must submit to their control. We asked them when these relations would come to an end. We asked the leader of one of these countries: "Until when will your people have to pay reparations?" For two generations? Three generations? For a 100 years? A 1,000 years? A few thousand years?

The existence of this regime is so essential for these countries that in some of them, they even built monuments. You know that every country builds monuments for the objects of their pride. They take their children, from an early age, to show them these monuments, in order to help them develop their identity, and to instill in their memory the things that make them proud, in order to feel power and honor. In some of these countries, they set up monuments, whose purpose was to degrade that very nation. From an early age, they take their children and say to them: "Look, our ancestors were murderers. Our ancestors used to burn people. We are in debt."

Something happened three generations ago. Let's assume it was true. What is the crime of the youth born in Europe today? What is the crime of people living in the world today that they have to pay reparations so high they cannot even be calculated? The peoples have to pay any sum decreed by America and England. What is the reason for this? When will there be an end to these claims? What is their limit? What does America have to do with this? Why does America extort the world, under the pretext of the Holocaust? Why does England extort [the world]? Wasn't it England that laid the foundations for the fear that led the Jews to flee to the occupied lands?

They said: "We want to establish a place for the survivors." How many survivors were there? With false promises, you gathered the wretched people from Africa, South America, Asia, and North America, and you brought them there. You banished one people from its land, and you want to create another people by force. Why? Why? Are all those now living in Palestine survivors of the war? We asked [these Westerners]: "The current leader of the Zionist regime – where did his parents live? Where were they?" As you know, some of the leaders of the Zionist regime are in fact Iranians.

[...]

The life of this regime depended on military threat, military force, and the legend that it was invincible. Today, with God's grace, this false legend has collapsed, with the help of the young believers of Palestine, and thanks to the believing, self-sacrificing commanders of Hizbullah. Today, the Zionists do not feel secure even in their own homes, anywhere in the world.

Today, this community, which was gathered by force, and under false pretexts, and whose members were joined to one another by a paper-clip, in order to create a false illusion of a nation... Today, they have fallen apart. I declare here, loud and clear: With God's grace, this regime has lost the philosophy of its existence.

[...]

Watch your hands, Mamoud.

I said to them: If you do not agree, open the doors, open the gates, and allow these uninvited guests return to their countries. Let them return to their homeland. If the Western countries that support the Zionists feel sympathetic toward them, they should give them financial aid, so that they can live in their own countries.

[...]

We have some advice for the supporters of this regime. We say to them: First of all, do not seek a new crime. Every crime being perpetrated today, every youth who dies in Palestine today, every home that is demolished, and every incursion into the neighboring countries will be accredited to the supporters of this regime, and the nations will exact their revenge.

[…]

Our proposal is as follows: Since you brought [this regime] over there, you yourselves pick it up, by the arms and legs, and remove it from there. This will make the peoples of the region improve their attitude toward you. These will be the first steps to a long-lasting friendship with the peoples of the region. This will be to your advantage.

You may say: "We feel uncomfortable doing this, because the Zionists control our countries, the propaganda machinery is at their disposal, and if we want to gain voters, we need their money and their support. Therefore, we feel uncomfortable doing this."

Fine. We made you another proposal: Allow that which you advocate take place in Palestine. After all, you advocate democracy, and you claim that the peoples should control their own destiny. So let the Palestinian people decide upon its own path by means of a referendum. In response, you say: "We might lose our reputation." Our response is: You have no reputation left anyway! Where do you still have a reputation anywhere in the world?

In the recent war in Lebanon, you saw with your own eyes that the whole world was against you. Even in Argentina, where the Zionists devise conspiracies, generate strife, and put pressure on the Argentinean administration, the people took to the streets.

[...]

This [Zionist] regime is on the verge of death, and we advise you to start thinking about your long-term interests and long term relations with the peoples of the region. At the end of the day, these are all ultimatums. No-one should complain tomorrow. The things are stated clearly.

[...]

What is this Security Council anyway? The whole world knows that America and England are the enemies of the Iranian nation.

Crowd: Allah Akbar.

Allah Akbar.

Khamenei is the leader.

Death to those who oppose the rule of the jurisprudent

Death to America

Death to England

Death to the hypocrites and Saddam

Death to Israel

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: They have taken control of the leading positions in the Security Council, and have the right of veto, and they are prosecuting and judging us, and they want to carry out the verdict. Sir, this is the logic of pharaonic times. The days of this logic are over. The Security Council, in its present condition, is illegitimate. Its resolutions are illegitimate. Do you want to be the judges, the rulers, the prosecutors, and those who carry out the verdicts? These days are over. Nobody accepts this behavior of yours. Even the illiterate old women of the Himalayas will not accept this behavior of yours.

Wishing You Were Me.The islamofascists believe they defeated the what they once believed to be the invincible Israel in Lebanon. They are emboldened.

Ahmadinejad's proposal to Britain and the United States is to take Israel out of the Middle East in order to improve our relations with the Middle East. He then proposes that the West allow Palestine to determine their own destiny by destroying Israel.

He blames Israel for every bad thing that happens in the Middle East and of controling the world. He sees the failure of Israel to prevail in Lebanon as a sign from God that Israel is weakened and as he said, the world is against the West.

He then declares that Israel is on the verge of death and tells us clearly that these things are ultimatums.

He completely rejects the validity of the United Nations and any sanctions that are proposed.

There are those in the West who think we need to talk with Ahmadinejad and reason with him. How do you reason with an unreasonable man? With a meglamaniac actually.

Leaving Iraq would leave a vacuum there that Ahmadinejad would be more than happy to occupy. It is my belief he is already providing weapons for the insurgents. They are getting increasingly sophisticated weapons and al-Qaida operatives are coming there from all over the world.

The islamofascist are emboldened by the weak response of Israel to the invasions of hezbollah and hamas. They are emboldened by the media reports that the American people have turned against the war and are demanding the President pull troops out of Iraq. I have seen reports on islamic websites stating they expect American troops will be out of Iraq by the end of this year. They are celebrating the defeat of the Republicans in the upcoming elections and declaring victory over the mighty Amercian Army. They are emboldened.

They have been warning us, Osama bin Laden and Ahmadinejad, that they intend to destroy us. There has been a recent al-Qaida warning to Canada. Yet there are still those that refuse to hear the warnings and still insist on blaming the United States for their problems.

It's all part of Ahmadinejad's apocalyptic vision.

I think it's time we really listen to what our emeny is telling us.

FURY OVER RAMADAN ARREST BAN

A ROW has broken out after police officers were told not to serve arrest warrants at prayer times during Ramadan.

Cops were emailed a timetable of the Muslim holy month - which ends tomorrow - and told to observe its "religious significance".

But one angry officer said: "I wonder if we'll extend the same courtesy to all other religions.

"We seem to have given up on policing the streets in favour of politically correct soundbites."

The answer to the angry officer is "NO"! But that won't stop the PC crowd in Britain or the US. An appearance of sensitivity and respect allows a criminal to pray freely in society, when we have gone to great lengths to afford them (muslims only) the courtesy to pray 5 times a day in jail.

7/7 Is Just The Beginning

We've been covering alot of things out of Britain this week. As mentioned in previous comments, they seem to be under "an all out social assault."

Intelligence chiefs in Britain are saying that Al-Qaida has successfully regrouped it's organization in Pakistan and the UK is it's new main target.

More worrying, officials say, is evidence of new techniques that would-be terrorists within the UK have adopted. The structure of individual al-Qaida-inspired groups is much more like the old Provisional IRA cells, with self-contained units comprising a lead organiser/planner, a quartermaster in charge of weapons and explosives acquisition and training, and several volunteers.

Officials describe these groups as "multi-tasking" - involved in fraud and fundraising and courier work as well as planning attacks. "There is a hierarchy within each cell with a very tightly run command and control," said one counter-terrorism source.

Many suspects appear to be aware they are under surveillance and have taken to having important conversations outside - in parks and other public spaces - similar to the tactics used by PIRA leaders during the Troubles.

Intelligence experts fear the UK is a target as never before, with extremists intent on carrying out a huge spectacular, on the scale of the US atrocities in 2001.

"They viewed 7/7 as just the beginning," said one senior source. "Al-Qaida sees the UK as a massive opportunity to cause loss of life and embarrassment to the authorities." A second source agreed: "Britain is sitting at the receiving end of an al-Qaida campaign."

Britain is an easier target, they have concluded, because of its traditional links with Pakistan which is visited by tens of thousands of people each year. Intelligence agencies have found it very difficult to penetrate the camps there.

The article goes on to talk about recruiting taking place in the UK and Pakistan. The best and most disturbing quote comes at the end:

They say there is a frightening number of young men willing to step up and replace those who have been arrested or gone to ground.

"It's like the old game of Space Invaders," said one senior counter-terrorism source. "When you clear one screen of potential attackers, another simply appears to take its place."

Heh! Space Invaders...No double meaning there...

Anti-terror laws under fire after two terrorists escape

Why house arrests for terror suspects may not be such a good idea.

LONDON • Britain’s anti-terrorism legislation came under renewed fire yesterday as a row over two international terrorist suspects who have gone on the run intensified.

Opposition parties and pressure groups said that the escape of the pair, reportedly a Briton of Pakistani descent and an Iraqi, highlighted that the control orders to which they were subject were dangerous and unfair.

Control orders are a loose kind of house arrest which usually compel suspects to report regularly to police and place them under a curfew, although critics say suspects should instead be charged and face a trial. But Home Office minister Tony McNulty hinted on Monday that the government may go in a different direction and diverge from the European Convention on Human Rights to tighten up the regime using existing legislation.

“We’ve got scope... to look at derogating orders that actually step away from the European Convention on Human Rights. That remains an option and we keep these things under review,” he told BBC television.

The Home Office has not made public any details of the escapes, but the BBC reported on its website that one of the fugitives was a British man of Pakistani descent suspected of wanting to go to Iraq and fight against the United States and British-led coalition there.

He is 25 and escaped from the mental health unit of a hospital in south-west London in the last few weeks, Britain’s Press Association (PA) reported. The other man is Iraqi and is thought to have been missing for some months, the BBC online said.

Did he say they may diverge from the European Convention on Human Rights to tighten things up? Go Britain! Someone needs to shows these terrorists some gonads. Trust me if the Democrats win a majority in the US election in November, we will not have any gonads to show.

Meanwhile some civil liberties gobbledegook-

Shami Chakrabarti, director of civil liberties campaign group Liberty, said the two escapes confirmed that control orders were “unsafe and fundamentally unfair”.

“If someone is truly a dangerous terror suspect, why would you leave them at large?

“On the other hand, it is completely cruel and unfair to label someone a terrorist and to subject them to a range of punishments for years on end without ever charging them or putting them on trial,” she said.

Well make up my mind, will ya? Are they dangerous enough to detain or not?

Blair sides with Straw on Muslim Veil Concerns

veilBritish Prime Minister Tony Blair made statements concerning the uproar Jack Straw ignited when he stated earlier in the month that the muslim veil was a 'sign of seperation' from the larger community of Britain.
Tony Blair has said the wearing of full face veils by Muslim women is a "mark of separation" and made some "outside the community feel uncomfortable".

The prime minister also backed Kirklees Council, which suspended classroom assistant Aishah Azmi for refusing to remove her full face veil at school. [BBC]

Predictably, the woman's lawyer is outraged.

Tony BlairMr. Blair suggested that muslims should find a way to come to terms with Western society if they chose to live here. That, of course, is in complete opposition to the demands of the muslim community, which is that Western society change it's rules to accomodate them.

Oh, and he suggests that regardless of how difficult the issues are, we need to confront them! That's refreshing considering so many people hope it'll all just go away if we ignore it!
"Difficult though these issues are, I think they have to be raised and confronted and dealt with," he said.

"And then, there's a second issue, which is about Islam itself and how Islam comes to terms with - and is comfortable with - the modern world."

Video of the news conference and Tony Blair's is at Hot Air.

I've always liked Tony Blair's courage. Regardless of the political consequences, he speaks his mind. He knows the muslim community will seperate and destroy Britain, and Europe, if the West remains silent.

Unfortunately, there does seem to be a divide occuring in Europe over submitting to dhimmitude or facing the continuous outrage of the muslim immigrants whenever a Westerner acts like a Westerner.

My personal belief is that in the end we (the descendants of the Viking raiders) will not allow ourselves to be dominated. That blood does still flow in our veins, regardless of how civilized we want to think we are.

I just don't know what it will take for us to call back on that old DNA and start hitting back. I suppose we'll find out.

Stay tuned.

Prime Minister Romano Prodi agrees with Blair and Straw.

Prime Minister Romano Prodi said on Tuesday that Muslim immigrant women should not be completely "hidden" behind full veils if they want to integrate and become part of Italy's future.

Since coming to power in May, Italy's centre-left leader has responded to a huge influx of arrivals from Africa by seeking European Union help to patrol the Mediterranean while trying to make it quicker for those already in Italy to become citizens. (Reuters)

British Student Arrested for Being Politically Incorrect

Codie StottA 14-year-old British girl was arrested for racism when she asked to work on a project with English speaking students.

It seems she was to work on this project with 'Asian' students (that's PC code for muslim) and only one of the group spoke English. The group was supposed to discuss the project.

She went to speak to her teacher ....

"I said 'I'm not being funny, but can I change groups because I can't understand them?' But she started shouting and screaming, saying 'It's racist, you're going to get done by the police'."

Codie said she went outside to calm down where another teacher found her and, after speaking to her class teacher, put her in isolation for the rest of the day.

A complaint was made to a police officer based full-time at the school, and more than a week after the incident on September 26 she was taken to Swinton police station and placed under arrest.

Codie's mother is furious. She says her daughter was only asking for something that was common sense and the school's reaction was over the top. I can't argue with that. Talk about an over reaction. Even if a 14-year-old girl did make an inappropriate remark, which 14-year-old girls tend to do, I hardly think arresting her is a 'common sense' reaction.

The school is now investigating exactly what happened before deciding what action - if any - to take against Codie.

Headteacher Dr Antony Edkins said: "An allegation of a serious nature was made concerning a racially motivated remark by one student towards a group of Asian students new to the school and new to the country."

"We aim to ensure a caring and tolerant attitude towards people and pupils of all ethnic backgrounds and will not stand for racism in any form."

But it's not a caring and tolerant attitude towards all pupils of all ethnic backgrounds. The English child was not treated in a caring and tolerant manner. She was arrested and held in a cell for asking to be in a discussion group with other youth who spoke the same language she did.

Salford was at the centre of a storm last April after a ten-year-old boy was hauled before a court for allegedly calling an 11-year-old mixed race pupil a 'Paki' and 'Bin Laden' in a playground argument at a primary school in Irlam.

When the case came before District Judge Jonathan Finestein he said the decision to prosecute showed "how stupid the whole system is getting".

But was himself fiercely attacked by teaching union leaders for "feeding a pernicious agenda" that aided the BNP.

The prosecution was eventually dropped.

As with most things, there is undoubtedly more to the story. I'm sure the version in this article isn't all there is to it. But it's apparent that there is a serious problem if students are being given consequences for speech that are so severe as to intimidate them into compliance.

If this is the attitude of the people of Britain, it's no wonder that Britain's muslim population is refusing to assimilate into the British culture. Britain will continue to have trouble with that population until they quit this type of appeasement and dhimmitude.
