CAIR, Lies and… the Truth

Investors Daily published the following expose on May, the 23rd (H/T: Eye On The World):

Politics And Demographics:

We’ve been told for years that Islam is the fastest-growing religion in America, and that the size of the Muslim population here has swelled to 6 million to 7 million. A new study pops that myth.

The Pew Research Center just concluded an exhaustive scientific study of the size of the U.S. Muslim population. It was able to identify only 2.35 million Muslims [empasis added] — less than half the figure commonly cited by Muslim activists.

Pew, a liberal group with certainly no interest in marginalizing Islam, described its study as “perhaps the most rigorous effort to date to scientifically estimate the size of the Muslim American population.”

Yet it practically apologized for its more accurate reading, being that it came in “significantly below some commonly reported estimates frequently cited by Muslim groups.”

Foremost among such groups is the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which claims to represent Muslims in Washington. CAIR commissioned its own survey in 2001 and came up with 6 million to 7 million, an estimate it always touts in its press releases and on its Web site.

As a result, most media outlets — as well as Congress, the White House and the State Department — have parroted the figure to describe the size of the nation’s Muslim population.

Politicians in Washington are intimidated by the figure, which CAIR uses as a cudgel to help advance its Islamist agenda. They believe it.

But it’s a wildly inflated guess manufactured by CAIR, something the media could have easily refuted all these years if they dared — simply by deconstructing CAIR’s unscientific methodology.

Until now, finding reliable data for Muslims in America has been hard because the Census Bureau does not survey creed. So CAIR’s fuzzy math went unchallenged, even though the “respected scholar” it hired to lead its “study” wasn’t a trained demographer. In fact, as a CAIR board member, he wasn’t even independent.

Worse, the Muslim professor admitted the number he arrived at for CAIR was a “guesstimation” that magically and conveniently matched the size — and potential political clout — of the Jewish population in the country, also estimated at 6 million.

It’s telling that CAIR did not link to the Pew study or any press coverage of it on its Web site. CAIR derives its power from the size of its potential membership. The bigger it is, the more clout it has in Washington and the corporate boardroom.

Until now, the perception was that CAIR spoke for several million Muslims and could rally them to boycott a company or to vote as a bloc to swing an election if it didn’t get its way. Officials feared the group because they thought it could marshal an Islamic juggernaut. The threat alone has caused many to back down from criticism or policies CAIR didn’t like.

But it was the Wahhabi lobby’s big lie. CAIR couldn’t deliver even 2 million voters if it tried. According to Pew, just 1.5 million Muslims are of voting age.

There is no big Muslim lobby, just CAIR’s big, hollow PR machine.

Well folks, Until now, finding reliable data for Muslims in America has been hard because the Census Bureau does not survey creed. There you have it folks… did you happen to read this phrase: the Muslim professor admitted the number he arrived at for CAIR was a “guesstimation” that magically and conveniently matched the size — and potential political clout — of the Jewish population in the country, also estimated at 6 million? I have no doubt Ibrahim Hooper and the other vile liars from CAIR will now try to sue the Pew Research Center while they’ll put on a nice spin trying to fix whatever damage.

CAIR’s history has been one non-stop story of subversion, support for every IslamoFascist terrorist group around the world and hidden glee when the US and/or Israel suffer losses. Yes, folks I fully support Muslims in America having a voice that represents their interests just like any other minority in this country, however, when the group representing their interests is no more than a front for terrorists support, any true Muslim must question if CAIR truly represents their interests.

As the Wikipedia, in a well documented and balanced article, mentions: CAIR claims that it works to promote a positive image of Islam and Muslims in America through media relations, lobbying, education, and public advocacy. CAIR tries to get a Muslim voice represented in the media, and to present American Muslims’ side of issues in current events. Its members often appear on news programs when a story involves Muslims in America. Over the years, CAIR has become an often-cited source for journalists who are seeking input or a quote from Muslim leaders or the Muslim community. But how does it promote that positive image of Islam and Muslims in America?

CAIR has received criticism from a number of both governmental and non-governmental sources, for actions it has taken and people and organizations it has been involved with. Critics have accused CAIR of having ties to terrorist organizations, and of “pursuing an extreme Islamist political agenda” As of 2006, at least four former CAIR officials have been charged with terrorism-related offenses. Critics claim CAIR is a spin-off of the Islamic Association for Palestine, which is alleged to be a “front group” for Hamas.

Critics have also taken aim at CAIR’s fundraising and sources of funds. Shortly after the 9/11 attacks, CAIR’s website solicited donations for what it called the “NY/DC Emergency Relief Fund.”[16] However, clicking on the donation link led to the web site for Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) Later that year, HLF was later designated as a terrorist organization by the European Union and U.S. because of alleged connections to Hamas, and shut down by executive order. CAIR has also been accused of doctoring photographs and reporting fraudulent statistics about the Muslim population of the United States in support of its own private agenda. Finally, another source of criticism is that CAIR attempts to suppress criticism of Islamic terrorism and intolerance through accusations of racism and anti-Muslim bias.

Investor’s Business Daily publicly condemned CAIR as being “the PR machine of militant Islam” after CAIR “dispatched its henchmen” to try to shut down the first Secular Islam Summit.

Among the numerous books donated to libraries in CAIR’s “library project” was former congressman Paul Findley’s ‘Silent No More’, which includes positive statements about convicted terrorist Abdul Rahman al-Amoudi

CAIR claims to represent Muslim interests, yet at least four former CAIR officials have been charged with terrorism-related offenses and pursues an extreme Islamist political agenda. In spite of Ibrahim Hooper, Ahmad Al-Akras, Parvez Ahmad, Christina Abraham and the rest of its vile liars’ tremendous efforts at obfuscating the truth, it is repeatedly being shown as the ally of terror for whom it collects heavy donations as for example in the aftermath of 9/11.

Shortly after the 9/11 attacks, CAIR’s website solicited donations for what it called the “NY/DC Emergency Relief Fund.” However, clicking on the donation link led to the web site for Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) Later that year, HLF was later designated as a terrorist organization by the European Union and U.S. because of alleged connections to Hamas, and shut down by executive order. It constantly is shown as doctoring photos and lying about the size of whom it represent. It is estimated that it only has just over 4300 dues paying member that is a dismally low percentage of even the true number of Muslims in this country.

Our politicos have curtsied and jumped at the beck and call of CAIR and the 6 to 7 million it fraudulently claims to represent, all in the name of votes the organizations was never able to deliver and now everyone knows why. I have no doubt that that the good Mr. Hooper and his cohorts will immediately sue the Pew Research Center for showing CAIR as the repulsive dangerous liars they truly are. I also have no doubt that within the next few days Ibrahim Hooper will appear on CNN and other friendly media outlets where he will express “righteous” indignation at the Pew Center’s research.

I fully support the Muslim community’s right to have an organization that speaks for its interests just as I unequivocally support those same rights for every single minority in this country. The question is however whether Muslim are truly represented by liars, supporters of terrorism and criminals (yes, it was criminal and CAIR should have been prosecuted!!!!) who take advantage of American feelings about the worst tragedy on American soil in this country’s entire history. Do the Muslims really want an organization that defrauded the American public at their most vulnerable moment and then gave the money it collected to a terrorist organization, so it can murder more people?

The entire history of CAIR is fraught with deception, anti-Americanism, and subversive activity in the name of an agenda that has little in common with the interests of the average Muslim living here. Perhaps the Muslim community should repudiate as their representatives an organization that is constantly caught lying, doctoring photos and greatly exaggerating the number of people it claims to represent. If Muslim immigrants want to peacefully coexist with the other 99% of Americans, if they wish to be respected rather than suspected, if they wish to have a true voice that will represents their interests and deliver on their community’s needs, then the time has arrived for them to cut any ties with CAIR. The time has come for America’s Muslims to have a voice that cares about them without any hidden agenda.

Meanwhile, together with many other blogs we here will continue to expose the lies, the exaggerations, their fraudulent methods and their real agenda (aiding and abetting terror!!) of CAIR. It is up to those Muslims who care to better their lives, to stop CAIR from using them for their nefarious ends.

Over At Yid With Lid you can also read about a poll the same Pew Research Center (authors of the study above) published a short while ago. He quotes Robert Spencer's post from today’s FrontpageMagazine.com:

Some of the results of the Pew Research Center poll of Muslims in America were startling: twenty-six percent of Muslims between the ages of eighteen and twenty-nine affirmed that there could be justification in some (unspecified) circumstances for suicide bombing, and five percent of all the Muslims surveyed said that they had a favorable view of Al-Qaeda. Given the Pew Center’s estimate of 2.35 million Muslims in America, and the total of thirteen percent that avowed a belief that suicide bombings could ever be justified, that’s over 300,000 supporters of suicide attacks. And 117,500 supporters of Al-Qaeda.

With such a high percentage who believe in in the justification of suicide bombings and who support AL-Qaeda, then perhaps CAIR is a worthy representative of Muslims in America…

More Hamas Terror

A British journalist was kidnapped in Gaza. Not much has been reported on the status of this journalist, but London is saying that there will be no negotiations for the release of the journalist.

Hamas has continued to step over the line - when is enough - ENOUGH?

A British Broadcasting Corp. journalist kidnapped in Gaza is alive and well and could soon be released, a Palestinian government spokesman said.Speaking at a literary festival in Wales Saturday, Hamas government spokesman Ghazi Hamad said he knew the “small group” holding Alan Johnston and was personally involved in negotiations to free him.

“I know that he is well and healthy, and in a good situation. No one has tried to harm him or hurt him,” Hamad said.

Hamad said he hoped efforts to release Johnston would bear fruit “very, very soon.”

Johnston, 45, was kidnapped March 12 in Gaza City by Palestinian gunmen. His disappearance is the longest of any Western journalist abducted in Gaza and has sparked numerous protests and solidarity marches in London and the Palestinian territories.

Hamad said he had “a lot” of information about the situation, but was not authorized to elaborate, saying a breakthrough could be made soon.

The British government said it would not make any deals to secure Johnston’s release.

Hamas is the cause of all bloodshed in Israel and anti-Semitism still abounds even in the face of this truth. Hamas hates the Jews and hates the West - even when reporters are sympathizing with them - reporting the Hamas/Palestinian side of the story - this is the way they are rewarded.

Wake up - we are in a world at war against radical Islam - not a people, not a religion - an ideology that is set to destroy all things good - all things Israel - all things America - and the apologists are allowing this to happen.

Israel considering extending support to Fatah military

Olmert is a hack! It is time he begins listening to what the people of Israel want instead of making deals with one group of terrorists to rid another group of terrorists. They both at the end of the day will come back to stab Israel in the back. Perhaps it is time they listen to Tzipi Livni, the Israeli foreign minister.

wmid19b.jpg
Tzipi Livni, the Israeli foreign minister, yesterday

Israel took military action only after Hamas started rocket attacks. An estimated 95 rockets have been launched at Israel since Wednesday, injuring seven, one seriously.

Tanks and troops remained just inside northern Gaza yesterday, with artillery batteries lined up outside the border.

Israel’s cabinet will meet tomorrow to discuss a further response. Foreign diplomats were yesterday summoned to a government briefing to garner international support for what seems increasingly likely to be another bloody summer.

“Sometimes the army needs to show determination, to put pressure on extremists, to put pressure on these terrorists, in order for the Palestinians to understand this is not something that is tolerable, that this is something that also affects their life,” said Tzipi Livni, the Israeli foreign minister. (emphasis mine)

Diplomats were told by senior foreign ministry and military sources that the smuggling of arms and money to Hamas from Syria and Iran is continuing, and that Israel fears Hamas will advance to longer-range rockets if they do not take action now. Rockets have landed on the southern reaches of the Israeli city of Ashkelon but have not yet struck residential areas. Most alarming, the sources said, is the increasing determination and power of Hamas.

Unfortunately for Israel the media is already inserting their opinions and anti-semitic slant to make Israel look like the perpetrator and the one causing this suffering. It was the Palestinians and their so-called terror run government that began this waring - Israel is only doing what the United States and any other country would do - defend herself. The fact that this has to be stated to remind people who the real culprits are is pittiful.

If you can stand it you can read the BBC’s dhimmi account here. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Almost but not quite

Because of the worsening security situation and infighting in Gaza, "Hamas fires its rockets to kill Israeli women and children, while cynically trying to provoke Israel’s reaction and...thereby blame the common enemy of the Palestinian people, which – as Palestinians are brainwashed from childhood to believe – is Israel.

This from Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Dan Gillerman. Unfortunately he continues attempting to placate the "International Community" with unearned platitudes. He even uses the word resolve when describing the UN Security Council. This does nothing more than give the appearance of Israel attempting to suck up to back-stabbing bureaucrats who think that the creation of Israel was a major mistake.

The reason Hamas is attempting to draw Israel back into Gaza is for the advancement of Hamas, especially Khalid Mashaal. I have been stating this fact for over a year. Hamas has proven It could decimate Fatah, therefore, the already powerless Mahmoud Abbas, is now certified as a simple figurehead of a dead organization.

If Mr. Gillerman is going to pander to the United Nations for help that won't come and support that will never be given, Israel is looking at a long deadly spiral towards it's own death.

Up to this point my conspiracy theory is still holding strong.

UN Condemns Lebanon for Disproportionate Response

Lebanese army shells refugee camp

Lebanese army soldiers fire a mortar during clashes

Palestinian refugee camp of Nahr el-Bared in the
northern city of Tripoli, Monday May 21, 2007. Lebanese
troops tightened a siege of a Palestinian refugee camp
Monday where a shadowy group suspected of ties to
al-Qaida was holed up, pounding the camp with artillery
a day after the worst eruption of violence since the end
of the country's 1975-90 civil war.
No. No. No. This never happened and won't happen. The UN only condemns the US and Israel.

Here's the latest Official statement from the UN regarding the Lebanese Government shelling of civilian Palestinians:

UN,
Office of the Spokesperson of the Secretary-General,
New York, 21 May 2007,
Statement Attributable to the Spokesperson of the Secretary-General on Lebanon

The Secretary-General is gravely concerned about the fighting in the last two days between Fatah al-Islam gunmen and the Lebanese army. The actions of Fatah al-Islam are an attack on Lebanon's stability and sovereignty. The Secretary-General welcomes the united stand taken by Palestinian factions in Lebanon denouncing these attacks on the Lebanese army. He calls on all sides to do their utmost to protect innocent civilians.

The Secretary-General also strongly condemns yesterday's terrorist bombing in Beirut. He urges the Lebanese to unite in the face of threats to their stability and security.

Rafik Hariri assassination site

I know, Muslims shelling other Muslims, who cares anymore? But here's the quick rundown: it all started in 2005 with the killing of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri. Shortly afterwards, the UN Security Council passed Resolution 1636, to set up a Special Tribunal to try Syrian suspects in the assassination. In order to prevent Lebanon from getting this tribunal up and running, Syria has instructed Fatah al-Islam to take actions to destabilize the Lebanese government. Fatah al-Islam, created by Syria, was formed by splitting off Fatah al-Intifada after Syria pulled its army out of Lebanon in April 2005.

Lebanese forces are prevented from physically entering any of the Palestinian camps because of a 1969 Arab accord. There are over 400,000 Palestinians spread out over 12 camps throughout the Lebanon.

Fierce clashes erupted between Lebanese Army soldiers and the Islamic militant group Fatah al-Islam in the vicinity of a Palestinian refugee camp in Tripoli on Sunday, leaving 22 Lebanese soldiers and 17 militants dead and dozens injured. The confrontation raised fears of a wider battle to rout militants in the rest of Lebanon's 12 refugee camps, where radical Islam has been gaining in recent years. The ranks of religious militants bent on a broader jihad have swelled, as some have traveled to Iraq to join the insurgency there and, more recently, have returned to establish movements of their own within the camps. Fatah al-Islam has been a growing concern for security authorities in Lebanon and much of the region.

March 14 Strikes Back…Finally

In 2005, in the midst of assassinations and random bombings in Christian civilian areas, US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice visited Prime Minister Siniora and offered the assistance of the United States to strengthen Lebanese government institutions. The goal of both Rice and Siniora was to strengthen Lebanon’s security apparatuses, and the US donated millions of dollars to help the police investigate the assassinations.

The police now have a much wider presence in Lebanon. New vehicles painted with distinctive colors and with brightly flashing lights now patrol the streets of Beirut. Allegedly, the police have also infiltrated some terrorist groups, and use the intelligence they gather to take action before violence occurs. After Siniora sent his letter to the United Nations calling for an international tribunal to try Shaheed Rafiq al Hariri’s assassins, all cars on both Bliss and Hamra Streets were removed.

The attack on Nahr al Bared is an example of 14 March leaders being proactive. Instead of waiting for the next round of assassinations and for more civilian buses to be blown up by militants operating out of Nahr al Bared, the government is taking any opportunity they get to strike back.

Gunmen In Iraqi Uniforms Kill 15

More costumed killing in Iraq:

Gunmen wearing Iraqi army uniforms killed 15 people Saturday in a village northeast of Baghdad. A U.S. soldier was killed and another seriously wounded while on a manhunter for three missing comrades and their captors.

Three mortar shells or rockets slammed into the Green Zone in Baghdad after British Prime Minister Tony Blair had arrived for talks with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. One person was injured, and it is unknown how far Blair was from the blasts. Mortar and rocket attacks against the Green Zone have increased recently, raising alarm among U.S. officials who live there. The Green Zone, a 3.5-square-mile area along the Tigris River in the center of Baghdad, is considered the only secure haven in the turbulent capital of Iraq.

The U.S. has ordered embassy employees to wear protective vests and helmets. This safety measure comes after four Asian contractors working for the U.S. were killed May 3 when rockets or mortars slammed into the Green Zone.

The attack against the villagers happened early Saturday when gunmen wearing army uniforms entered the village of Hamid Shifi. They ran families from their homes and opened fire on them. 15 men were killed, an Iraqi general and a Kurdish political party said. All the victims were Kurdish Shiites, according to a statement posted on the Web site of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

The village is located in Diyala province where violence has risen sharply in the past six months. It is about 60 miles northeast of Baghdad.

Also Saturday, the U.S. command reported five more American soldiers were killed, all but one the day before. One soldier was killed Saturday by a roadside bomb south of Baghdad, the military said.

U.S. officials said the soldier was killed while searching for three 10th Mountain Division troopers abducted a week ago in an attack in which four Americans and an Iraqi were killed.

U.S. military sources said it has expanded the search for the soldiers beyond the the mostly farming area just south of Baghdad where the May 12 attack occurred.

Saturday, nine people were taken into custody in the town of Amiriyah, a longtime Sunni insurgent area, based on tips related to the abduction. U.S. troops also arrested two people in Baqouba "associated" with the al-Qaida command network.

An al-Qaida-linked group had claimed responsibility for the kidnapping during which four American soldiers and an Iraqi were killed.

The focus of the search is around the village of Quarghuli, where they were captured following an attack on their observation post.

Pray for the missing soldiers for their safety and pray for our congress for their illumination.

The Road To Surrender

HotAir.com offers a sneak peek at Sunday’s “1/2 Hour News Hour” on Fox.

First they had Limbaugh and Coulter, then Laura Ingraham, now Prager; it looks like cameos by conservative media icons are going to be a weekly thing. Smart money for next Sunday says it’s Hannity.

Exit question: Didn’t the road to surrender really begin with the decision to disband the Iraqi army?

Do it or die

Once again I will state it: There is no diplomatic solution to the Israel-"Palestinian" conflict. Thanks to Hamas, Syria, Iran, Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, Hizbollah, and Islamic Jihad (with the recent addition of AL Quaeda in Gaza and the West Bank) there can never be a political solution. The aforementioned all believe that the entire nation of Israel is on occupied territory. All of the aforementioned have stated in public or in their charters that their goal is to push Israel into the sea. This is not an issue that can be negotiated.

Israel has successfully defended itself since it's inception. Time after time the "Arab" armies have set themselves against Israel only to be beaten back. Only when Israel has succumbed to the "World" has it not achieved it's goals of defense. I have stated often that the "Palestinians" are nothing but cannon fodder being used by Israel's enemies. Everyday I read about how I right I have been.

Unilateral withdraw from Gaza was not the spark to recent developments. Israel should have done as the Arabs did in 1947-48. Once in Gaza they should have evicted the Arab residents. As crass as this sounds it was the only action that could have prevented the events over the last 60 years. Despite propaganda put out by the Arab's, Israel did not kick people out in 1948. The majority of these people left on their own accord. Having returned to Gaza they have done exactly what should have been expected. While the rest of the world wants to negotiate an unattainable truce, Israel has the devil at the door.

I read today that B'Tselem has written a letter to Amir Peretz requesting that he not attack civilians in Gaza:

The letter came in response to calls by several MKs to cut off Gaza's water and electricity. According to B'Tselem, intentionally harming civilian infrastructure constitutes prohibited collective punishment and could also constitute a war crime.

Can someone please explain to me what fantasy world these people come from? The people who are attacking Israel were voted into office by the "Palestinians". Seeing as they view no Israeli as innocent why should Israel not reciprocate in kind? Maybe if there were massive civilian casualties the remainder would turn on Hamas and the others. Then again maybe they would actually take an active part in fighting Israel. This makes it easier to fight a war against those who hide amongst women and children. Israel did not create this monster, they have been trying to fend it off instead of kill it. Maybe it's time the "Palestinian" boogey-man was put out in the light?

The idiots that try to place rules and regulations on the act of war live in a world where everyone fights fair. This world does not exist on this planet. The goal in fighting a war is to win and cause the enemy to abandon it's cause. Fighting with kid gloves will not achieve this. There is no such thing as fighting nice. You either fight to win or you don't fight and you bow to your new master.

I can't say that I am disappointed in Ehud Olmert and his administration because I didn't expect much in the first place. However, being a supporter of Binyamin Netanyahu, his recent comments have caused me much disappointment. Israel does not need a political leader. Israel just needs a LEADER. The answer is not Shimon Peres nor Ehud Barak. Sadly I don't know who fits this bill. Saying the right thing and actually following through are often two different ends of the spectrum when it comes to politics.

Israel needs to reenter Gaza and take it back. Let the world scream. They have done nothing to prevent this. Their action and inaction is what has created this situation. If Israel isn't willing to do what is necessary to protect itself then it will go the way of other failed nations that have allowed itself to be run over. If this happens then I will have wasted my breath and energy defending her.

They just don't get it

Recent news from the Israeli Governmental establishment depicts a situation that Mr. Olmert and his lackey's don't seem to grasp. With the fighting that is taking place in Gaza along with the Kassams being launched into Israel, a prime opportunity has developed that could lead to the erradication of Hamas and possibly the Palestinian Authority. Leaving Gaza in need of leadership and control to fill the vacuum that will be created by these actions. Instead, Israel is "prepared to make Hamas pay". This is a naive and shortsighted approach. What more can be expected of a failed government?

Israel has sent troops into Gaza to act as spotters. Tanks have entered Gaza and there have been numerous air sorties to destroy known terrorist locations and rocket launchers. It appears that Mr. Olmert has taken what Mr. Netanyahu recommended and ran with it. From this layman's viewpoint this is a horrendous mistake. If Israel is serious about achieving a lasting peace in this area then they have to attack not just to make Hama pay, but to erradicate Hamas. If the PA goes down with it, who cares. Nothing has been achieved in 40 years of talking with these people anyhow. Israel needs to reinvade and takeover the region. Instill Israeli law on this region. Instead of occupying the area, annex it. The "Palestinians" will live better than ever under Israeli rule than they would under the atrocitizers they have voted into office. If the people don't want to remain there, they can go somewhere else. Try Jordan again, that worked out so well the last time.

It's time to decimate the enemy and erase their presence from the region. Quit playing nice with people who never return the favor. Mahmoud Abbas is done, if he ever began. Annihilate the enemy. If one terrorist is allowed to remain in the area, it will all start over again. Diplomacy has proven itself to be a failure. The only one who ever abides by any truce or ceasefire has been Israel. Enough of the bunk.

Here's a little note to prove I am not as "out of reality" as some may think:

The officer pointed out that Damascus-based Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal was pulling the strings and was setting policy for the movement within Gaza.

This man needs to go meet his allah. He has done enough damage on this earth he should be sent to collect his virgins.

Even the Israeli military command doesn't seem to be prepared to do what they are paid for:

Earlier Friday, Maj.-Gen. (res.) Giora Eiland said that Israel did not have the military capability for a direct assault on Kassam fire.

How pathetic is this? Israel does have the capability they just lack the will and the courage.
The only coherent statement this General made was:

"Gaza is a clear and hostile Hamas state in every sense of the term," he said. "The Palestinian Authority and [PA Chairman Mahmoud] Abbas are pathetic and irrelevant"

Israel Beiteinu chairman, Avigdor Lieberman, appears to get it:

"the target is not the Kassam cells. The state of Israel decided in its time that the goal was to achieve peace with the Palestinians. This is an illusion. It's impossible to reach a peace agreement."

Unfortunately he is stuck in the "World will save us" state of mind. Prior to the previous statement he said:

Speaking to Army Radio, Lieberman said that Israel must send ground forces into the Gaza Strip, take control of the Philadelphi corridor, split Gaza in three parts, and after calm was restored, hand over control to a multinational force of NATO troops.

Is there anyone in Israel willing and able to defend and protect Israel? Quit think within the box that has failed for the last 40 years. The box that Israel has placed itself is an illusion and will lead to it's downfall.

I told you so

To all of you out there who think my imaginative approach to the Israeli -"Palestinian" conflict is nothing more than a flight of fancy on my part, read this:

Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas canceled a trip to Gaza on Thursday after it was discovered that Hamas gunmen planned to blow up his convoy, a senior security official said.

"Abu Mazen's (Abbas's) visit to Gaza was canceled after the discovery of a tunnel under Salaheddine Road full of explosives placed by the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigads to blow up (Abbas's) convoy," said the official."The explosives were found on the route that Abu Mazen takes to travel to Gaza," the source added.
An official in Abbas's office confirmed the report.
I have been writing for quite some time how the days of Mahmoud Abbas are numbered (check my second site Biga's Rants). If it is possible to track the chain of command for this attempt my bet is that it works it's way back to Khalid Mashaal.

Yes I am just an average everyday guy who reads articles and then writes an opinion. However, just because I lack the extra letters after my name doesn't mean I don't have a clue. The possibility of attaining peace between Israel and it's neighbors is long gone. Diplomatic wrangling will do nothing but prolong the inevitable and create a truly catastrophic result.

I doubt if anyone in a position of real power bothers to read any of my articles but if perchance they come across this, it's time to pull your head out and treat the enemy as the enemy. Diplomacy has failed. Sitting on the sidelines has allowed this evil to permeate numerous nations. It's time to get fighting or get dead.

The ultimate betrayal

For some forty years the United States has refused to acknowledge Jerusalem as the capital of Israel despite the fact that throughout history Jerusalem is he known and understood capital.

The interesting aspect of this is that there has been a bill for these forty years circulating through congress waiting to be passed, but it is always bypassed. To date our U.S. Embassy sits in Tel Aviv the so-called recognized capital of Israel.

Tel Aviv is recognized as the capital all around the world with endorsement of course from the United Nations. It is amazing how the United Nations and others decided this for Israel- ignoring her rightful capital - replacing Jerusalem with Tel Aviv.

Just more deceptions and lies put forth by our own government whom has aided and abetted the U.N. in this terrible lie.

The Muslim connection:

Despite 1,300 years of Muslim Arab rule, Jerusalem was never the capital of an Arab entity, nor was it ever mentioned in the Palestine Liberation Organization’s covenant until Israel regained control of East Jerusalem in the Six-Day War of 1967.

Overall, the role of Jerusalem in Islam is best understood as the outcome of political exigencies impacting on religious belief.

Mohammed, who founded Islam in 622 CE, was born and raised in present-day Saudi Arabia; he never set foot in Jerusalem. His connection to the city came years after his death when the Dome of the Rock shrine and the al-Aqsa mosque were built in 688 and 691, respectively, their construction spurred by political and religious rivalries. In 638 CE, the Caliph (or successor to Mohammed) Omar and his invading armies captured Jerusalem from the Byzantine Empire. One reason they wanted to erect a holy structure in Jerusalem was to proclaim Islam’s supremacy8 over Christianity and its most important shrine, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

More important was the power struggle within Islam itself. The Damascus-based Umayyad Caliphs who controlled Jerusalem wanted to establish an alternative holy site if their rivals blocked access to Mecca. That was important because the Hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca was (and remains today) one of the Five Pillars of Islam. As a result, they built what became known as the Dome of the Rock shrine and the adjacent mosque.9

To enhance the prestige of the ‘substitute Mecca,’ the Jerusalem mosque was named al-Aqsa. It means ‘the furthest mosque’ in Arabic, but has far broader implications, since it is the same phrase used in a key passage of the Quran called “The Night Journey.” In that passage, Mohammed arrives at ‘al-Aqsa’ on a winged steed accompanied by the Archangel Gabriel; from there they ascend into heaven for a divine meeting with Allah, after which Mohammed returns to Mecca. Naming the Jerusalem mosque al-Aqsa was an attempt to say the Dome of the Rock was the very spot from which Mohammed ascended to heaven, thus tying Jerusalem to divine revelation in Islamic belief.

Jerusalem never replaced the importance of Mecca in the Islamic world. When the Umayyad dynasty fell in 750, Jerusalem also fell into near obscurity for 350 years, until the Crusades. During those centuries, many Islamic sites in Jerusalem fell into disrepair and in 1016 the Dome of the Rock collapsed.10

Still, for 1,300 years, various Islamic dynasties (Syrian, Egyptian, and Turkish) continued to govern Jerusalem as part of their overall control of the Land of Israel, disrupted only by the Crusaders. What is amazing is that over that period, not one Islamic dynasty ever made Jerusalem its capital.11 By the 19th century, Jerusalem had been so neglected by Islamic rulers that several prominent Western writers who visited Jerusalem were moved to write about it. French writer Gustav Flaubert, for example, found “ruins everywhere” during his visit in 1850 when it was part of the Turkish Empire (1516-1917). Seventeen years later Mark Twain wrote that Jerusalem had “become a pauper village.”12

Indeed, Jerusalem’s importance in the Islamic world only appears evident when non-Muslims (including the Crusaders, the British, and the Jews) control or capture the city.13 Only at those points in history did Islamic leaders claim Jerusalem as their third most holy city after Mecca and Medina.14 That was again the case in 1967, when Israel captured Jordanian-controlled East Jerusalem (and the Old City) during the 1967 Six-Day War. Oddly, the PLO’s National Covenant, written in 1964, never mentioned Jerusalem. Only after Israel regained control of the entire city did the PLO updated its Covenant to include Jerusalem.

I am ashamed of the United States and the fact our government has in the past capitulated with known terror sponsored countries against Israel all the while maintaining to be Israel’s friend. I am ashamed that our congress cannot pass a simple bill of truth that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, not Tel Aviv.

I am ashamed that the United States perpetuates this lie through the continued purchase of “BLACK GOLD” - oil. America is still bowing down in the Saud thrown rooms off oil and does so knowingly at the expense of Israel.

It was Kind David that spoke about the ultimate betrayal-it would have been accepted partially if it were a stranger-but when it is from one that is a close friend it is unthinkable.

I am ashamed-the ultimate betrayal by the United States against Israel - all in the efforts to maintain peace with Arabs who do not want peace, but the annihilation of Israel and here people.

When Violence Becomes Culture

Webster’s Dictionary provides various definitions for the word culture, among them, these two stand out:
the set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterizes an institution or organization
the set of values, conventions, or social practices associated with a particular field, activity, or societal characteristic.

If we look at the circumstances and situations pervading life in the PA today, we immediately recognize how the first of the above two definitions has taken over over everyday life. Not only do children’s programming on TV extol the virtues of killing Jews and dying for Allah, not only do official PA institutions (whether they are run by Hamas , or by “moderate” Fatah), glorify murder and suicide, but these seem to become more and more the set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterizes an institution or organization. What the PA leaders do not seem to realize (or if they do they are certainly cynically malicious mind manipulators) is that when you preach death and suicide against an enemy that hatred engenders another hatred worse by far and that is hatred for those who do not agree with the particular gang’s leadership. When life is of little value, then so is the life of foe or friend also… of little value.

Hence, we see a situation within the PA where their society is fast deteriorating and destroying whatever achievements they have made. Yet the MSM around the world does not focus on the these culture that may yet lead to the total disintegration of Palestinian society and their aspirations for an independent entity. The MSM ignores the fact that murder, kidnappings, and hatred for both the Zionist Entity and for one’s opponents competitors have become the set of values, conventions, or social practices associated with a particular field, activity, or societal characteristic. The institution that was supposed to alleviate the problems and lead to an improvement in everyday life, has instead created a new hell on earth.

The PA, as it exists today may be a threat to Israel, but it is no less a threat to itself. In the last elections, the Palestinians grew tired of the greed and corruption rampant among Arafat’s heirs, cronies and relatives in Fatah. Hoping for a healthy change, they voted for Hamas. Yes Hamas was known as a terror gang vis a vis the Zionist Entity and that might present a problem in the future, reasoned the average Palestinian, but Hamas’ hands were clean and they represented a new approach to domestic problems. They did present a new approach… indeed!

Claiming that there was no money coming in (although the amount of foreign in 2006 exceeded 2005 by 250%), they pulled out of all the civilian programs that were going active when they came in. We all remember how barely 6 weeks ago there was a massive sewage break down in one of the main villages in Gaza. Even though money had been earmarked for that project, before Hamas came to power, and work had actually started. The corruption that the Palestinian electorate had voted to stamp out, not only did not disappear but now greed and corruption acquired a much bigger appetite!

After some serious and dangerous infighting, the Mecca agreement seemingly managed to produce a unity government between Hamas and “moderate” Fatah. The kidnappings, the murders did not stop however. After a very brief lull they continue with greater frequency, with greater fury… while the Palestinian street suffers. Schoolbooks contain more passages of hatred towards Jews, more passages extolling the virtues of shihadism than they do about the three Rs. TV programming in spite of assurances and signatures to the contrary continue to bait the Zionist Entity, continue to praise and glorify murderous suicide bombers. Their families receive stipends after their shihadis deaths, as the families of heroes. Mothers speak of their happiness that their sons died while fighting and/or killing dem Jooz little caring that the whole point of bringing their children into this world was not for them to serve as cannon fodder. Every normal intelligent, caring, hard working parent (regardless of ethnicity, regardless of religious creed, regardless of skin color) wants and toils for happiness and prosperity for his/her offspring. Here, instead, we meet a culture where death seems to be the ultimate goal!

Can a culture of death, truly endure? Can a people exist where life has little value, because it is hell? While the ruling elite live in brand new majestic villas, the average Palestinian family makes do with a few rooms in very simple structures too small for most families. In a society where almost 14% of the population is “employed” by the government and most are not receiving their wages, it’s no wonder lawlessness reigns supreme! In a society that cares little for cultivating the land (yes, folks the land is capable of producing much. Until Olmert’s disastrous disengagement, Jewish farmers were enjoying a $100,000,000.00 a year economy!!!), but cares more about religious instructions that teach it to kill, there is no future.

Yet we can not in all fairness put a 100% of the blame squarely on the shoulders of the PA. The fact is, they have strong allies… the “useful idiots” in the West - also known as the mainstream media! Kassam rockets have been raining on the Israeli town of Sderot (well within the pre-1967 Israeli borders) from the Gaza strip non stop since the beginning of last summers truce. Over the last two days it has intensified as never before. There is serious material damage to buildings, there are dozens of wounded, hundreds evacuated, schools are closed, as are many businesses in Sderot, but the Western MSM has not chosen to cover this. In the last two days of Hamas-Fatah clashes there have been 41 dead among both forces, there have been hundreds of wounded and a freshly brokered truce has been shattered by Hamas’ killing six bodyguards of the Fatah’s Chief of Security. Wednesday alone, the fire exchanges throughout Gaza claimed 20 dead and 35 wounded. Yet the Western MSM did not bother to mention any of this in their headlines, in their front pages. Instead they only mentioned that Israel launched an air strike that killed 4 Palestinians. Not much mention of why, that obviously was not important, in fact to mention that Israel was aiming to stop the Kassam attacks would not be in keeping with the MSM culture of bias, its culture of lies, its culture of appeasement.

Western MSM would not even mention Israel’s helping hand towards the Palestinian wounded. It might show Israel in a favorable light, how could the mainstream media continue to demonize the Zionist Entity, then?

Magen David Adom paramedics were cooperating with Palestinian rescue workers on Wednesday to evacuate Palestinian victims of the increasing Hamas-Fatah violence.

MDA ambulances waited at the Erez Crossing to Gaza to pick up an evacuate a 10-year-old girl suffering from a head wound, as well as three others wounded in their lower body, to Israeli hospitals.

Had the MSM told the whole story as it happened, without skipping any details (no matter how inconvenient!) the result might been to add pressure on the corrupt Hamas and Fatah leaders and foce them to change their ways by exposing them. Had the MSM relentlessly told the truth, it might have paved the way for a new Palestinian leadership that might actually work towards the goal of bettering the plight of the average man on the street. A new leadership that might stem the exodus of Palestinian youth and intellectuals for whom the corruption and violence make life hopeless and unbearable. When one fails to condemn oppression, corruption, greed and violence, the very silence becomes an encouragement for the perpetrators to continue. The violence in the PA is not only part of the PA culture, by extension that very culture permeates the Western MSM, too cowardly to mention it.

What does Harsh mean?

Harsh
Function: adjective, Etymology: Middle English harsk, of Scandinavian origin; akin to Norwegian harsk harsh 1 : having a coarse uneven surface that is rough or unpleasant to the touch 2 a : causing a disagreeable or painful sensory reaction : b : physically discomforting 3 : unduly exacting 4 : lacking in aesthetic appeal or refinement.

This is Webster's definition of Harsh. What is Ehud Olmert's definition? What half measures will the Israeli government put into play this time around? Having misdirected the war against Hizbollah now they are going after Hamas in Gaza. I assume there will be aircraft and missiles deployed. What about the boots on the ground? Will Israel send it's soldiers into Gaza to go after these vermin at all costs or will they be forced to follow a restrictive rules of engagement that will prevent any semblance of victory?

Without the men on the ground, Hamas will be able to outlast the half hearted measure and come back stronger just as Hizbollah has done. By sending troops into the region the local "Palestinian" population will be forced to take sides. This should make a war in the area easier to manage. If they side with Hamas they are the enemy.

Don't count out Fatah. They are the ones responsible for the Al Aqsa brigade. Mahmoud Abbas' days are numbered. He cannot control Al Aqsa nor the "renegade" members of Fatah. However, Khalid Mashaal has complete control over Hamas. If Israel sends in troops they will be facing weapons from Iran and Syria as well as the weapons that the West, especially Israel and the U.S. have sent in.

Israel cannot afford to restrain in any aspect. An attack may instigate Syria and Hizbollah but it's only a matter of time before this happens anyway (see What's Next?). Unfortunately I don't believe that Mr. Olmert has the spine to go on the all out assault against Hamas in Gaza. Not only does he lack the will, but Mr. Peretz has proven himself to be less than worthless while Tzipi Livni is looking for political opportunities.

Based on my "conspiracy theory" the recent actions in Gaza are intentional. Hamas is trying it's best to bait Israel into an attack. They see this as a unifying action. Fatah will not fight against Hamas if Israel is attacking. If Mr. Olmert has the spine, there will be another occupation in Gaza. This will lead to uprisings and condemnation from the Islamists. This may be all that Syria needs to justify them launching an attack of their own. This would then lead Hizbollah to attack on another front.

An air and missile campaign does nothing but prolong the inevitable. It's time to get to fighting or get out of the way.

Mashaal on the move

So much for the truce. Hamas took out 5 of its own people who were being detained by Fatah. The Fatah men were killed also. Meanwhile rockets continue to rain on Rafah, Negev, and Sderot. Who is to blame for all of this? Israel, apostate Arab nations, and the west of course. Here's the big question? Where is Khalid Mashaal? Somehow this is all part of one of his nefarious plots (I never thought I would use the word nefarious).

None of these events would occur without his knowledge or consent. The "Palestinian" purge has begun. Mahmoud Abbas is going to be forced to set aside any dealing of "peace" and confront Hamas head on. The world is not going to come to his rescue. Add in the weapon shipments that have been stolen and there is a major military buildup taking place in Gaza. All of this under the direction of Khalid Mashaal which puts it under the control of Bashir Assad and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

In light of recent events how much of this is happening with the passive approval of Russia? I have a bad feeling that Vladimir Putin is in on this somehow. I have no proof only suspicion. If Israel is to strike in Gaza it must be now and it must be unrelenting. Any limited warfare conducted in Gaza will only leave the enemy in place for future agitation. Hamas must be destroyed. If the "Palestinians" truly want peace they will contribute in the effort to rid the region of Hamas. Unfortunately, the average "Palestinian" hates Israel more than they hate their present situation.

The war is coming. The decision that must be made is does the war occur on the islamists timetable or Israels? Khalid Mashaal is making his moves. Stop him before it gets too far.

Islamic Funding of Terrorism

poach-eRR !
Originally uploaded by N-O-M-A-D.
When I visit Islamist blogs I note that Muslims like to say that Islam is superior to western religions, giving examples of how women are treated better under Islam, how Islam is in tune with nature, that they are not under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Of course, this is all hypocrisy. At least Christians admit that they are sinners and looking to make the world better. But Muslims feel they have already achieved a perfect state by merely being Muslims.

A tip of the turban Hat Tip to TMH’s Bacon Bits that al Qaeda is now killing animals for Allah:

UK Guardian,
5 May 2007
Poaching for Bin Laden

According to India's security services, police, intelligence analysts, local traders and forestry officials, Islamic militants affiliated to al-Qaida are sponsoring poaching in the reserve for profit. These groups have established bases in the formerly moderate enclave of Bangladesh and have agents operating all along the country's porous 2,500-mile border with India. They have gone into business with local animal trappers and organised crime syndicates around Kaziranga - as well as in parks and reserves in Nepal, Burma and Thailand - in a quest for horns, ivory, pelts and other animal products with which to raise "under the wire" funds that they can move around the world invisibly.
A small rhino horn, the size of a bag of sugar, with good provenance (the beast's tail and ears, presented to a prospective buyer) and in the right marketplace (in Asia, Europe or North America), can fetch £20,000. Big cat pelts can go for up to £10,000. Monkey brains, bear bile, musk, big cat carcasses, elephant feet, tails, horns and teeth have considerable value. A shipment worth £2.8m was recently intercepted by UK customs. Profits from the trade run from $15bn to an incredible $25bn a year, according to estimates from the WWF (formerly the World Wide Fund for Nature). The punishment for trading in these items is generally a fine as low as £300 in India and £900 in Nepal.

Although this story is ten days old, PETA has yet to add this to their Action Alerts. Perhaps they cannot bring themselves to condemn anyone who is anti-American? Why is it that those who most despise white corporate America cannot bring themselves to condemn the most violent violators of their own organization's principles?

Photo by Alan PogueMuslims themselves will deny that other Muslims are engaged in the slave trade, trade in endangered species, or sell drugs. They will bring up the fact that the Taliban banned opium poppy cultivation back in 2001. Actually, the Taliban only banned the sale to raise the price of opium so they could collect higher taxes on it and to get subsidies from the US.

As much as Muslims may harp about how peaceful and beautiful Islam is, the plain fact is that Muslims will trade in any forbidden vice, do any evil deed, sell slaves, kill animals, or deal in drugs as long as it is done to destroy infidels.

It is interesting to note that the majority of Muslims in America are black and while blacks continue to harp on how slavery is the main reason for black poverty today, they ignore the fact that Islam institutionalized slavery and that it was white Christians here in America and in Britain that abolished slavery in the western world. Blacks should be ashamed of themselves for becoming Muslim. Where is Al Sharpton when blacks really need him?

Answering Islam,
The Ultimate Goal of Islam

the Quran states unequivocally the superiority and triumph of Islam over all religions in three different verses: 61:9, 48:28, and 9:33. These verses are found in the historical context of warfare and violence, so how can they fail to inspire violent fanatics?

Answering Islam,
SLAVERY IN ISLAM

Muslims were enslaving black Africans long before any slave ships sailed for the New World. Muslims were taking and making slaves all over the lands they had conquered. Later, when slave ships were loaded with black slaves, often, a Muslim slave broker had the human cargo all ready to go. American slavers rarely had to go into inland to capture slaves, they were already waiting there, courtesy of some Muslim ruler, and/or slave broker! In many cases, if the black slaves were not sent to the New World, they were sent to the Mideast to be enslaved by Arabs, or kept by other black Muslims as slaves.

Maybe I'm Right

Not only can the Islamists fail to live up to a ceasefire with Israel, they can't live up to a ceasefire with themselves. While the rest of the "real world ignorants" continue to lavish the title of victim on the "Palestinians", they continue to kill themselves and attack Israel. This is beyond tragic. It is even beyond pathetic. There has not been a word made up that could describe the asininity of the "Palestinians" and their enablers. What is the United Nations to do?

The answer to the last question is obvious. Nothing. They will ignore the fact that these Islamists are purging themselves and preparing for the war to annihilate Israel. While Hamas continues to incite Fatah, or vice versa, the rest of the Islamic world is arming itself and getting into strategic positions. Ehud Olmert lacks the courage or imagination to confront this enemy. There is nothing that the West will do to prevent the coming war. Israel is on its own. When the war starts the "diplomatic" rumbling will turn to scorn of the Zionist entity.

Mr previous writing about a conspiracy may not be far off the mark. Hamas is doing its best to rid itself of Fatah and Mahmoud Abbas. By doing so they will place themselves at the top of the Islamic Pride food chain. Iran and Syria will be more than happy to have them as an ally. Once they have proved themselves to be a legitimate fighting force, the war can commence.

The problem with Western politicians is they lack imagination. If it isn't written down for them in simple third grade grammar they become befuddled and commence to spouting off about stability. We are way passed the stage of stability. Stability was unattainable and a pipe dream. The Islamists idea of stability requires them being in charge. When that happens they will recommence fighting each other about who is the truer muslim.

The war is coming. It is what the Islamists want and there is no way to prevent it. Pre-emptive action will start it sooner and hopefully catch them not fully prepared. Waiting for them to attack will give them the advantage and increase the likelihood of their success. They are not afraid to use nuclear weapons. In fact, that will probably be their big surprise early on. Shock and Awe will visit us early one morning.

The Media And The Fort Dix Six

From the New Media Alliance, Inc.:

Left Works to Change Image of Fort Dix Six
by Sher Zieve

Although I still have difficulty fathoming why the secular Left seems
bent upon suicide-by-proxy, at least it has told us who (if not what)
comprise the members of its substitution group. They are the Islamists.
However, in the case of Islam’s most recent failed attempt to cause an
act of barbarism on US soil, many on the Left seem furious with their
adopted protégés. In statements that appear designed to spur them on
toward accomplishing their terroristic missions, the Left has called the
Islamists “idiots” and “morons” for not actually completing
their massacre mission at Fort Dix, NJ. The popular anarchistic left-wing
site Daily Kos reflects this disdain for the jihadists’ failed plan
to slaughter soldiers stationed at Fort Dix. One of its writers/bloggers
states: “It’s a bit like the Shriners planning to win the Daytona
500 with a clownmobile.” The writer then goes on to compare this
recent Islamist attempt to one planned by the 1970’s militant group the
Weather Underground.

In an attempted attack on Fort Dix, members of this group blew
themselves up prematurely. Perhaps the Daily Kos is not aware of the current
myriad Islamist attack attempts, worldwide, in which the terrorists not
infrequently blow themselves up prematurely. But, the Left has
seldom-to-never been accused of basing its opinions or even news articles on any
discernable coherent facts.

Then, there is the ABC News article titled “The Fort Dix Six
Allegedly Had Bomb Recipes, Made Fun of U.S.”, in which the usual friend of
one of the terrorists is interviewed and says “He was an easy going
guy, someone you enjoyed working with.”—the indication being
‘terrorists can be great guys, too’!

The Courier-Post Online quotes George Strong, a retired William and Mary University professor, as saying the Fort Dix Six are “romanticists.” Do we now have apolitically-correct new word to use for avowed terrorists? Are they no longer to be called what they truly are but, to be referred to as “romantics?” I predict that there will soon be a new ACLU-and-CAIR-fought-for-law that bans the usage of the
word “terrorist” and replaces it with “romanticist.”

Following this same leftist-inspired thought pattern, will the term
‘terrorism’ soon be replaced with ‘love’? The Courier-Post goes on to
extensively quote Chicago Muslim leader Huseyin Abiva as strongly indicating
that the United States is to blame for the Fort Dix mass murder attempt. Huseyin said
that the 1999 American intervention in Serbia is to blame, when he
stated: “A lot of these foreign missionaries [presumably he believes Christian missionaries] and soldiers started propagating this alien interpretation of Islam.”

Huh? First of all, I don’t recall any Christian
clerics being sent to Serbia to “convert” the Muslim population.
Second—to what “alien interpretation of Islam” is Huseyin referring?

With all of the ongoing worldwide terrorist attacks perpetrated by the followers of
Islam, it appears that this political system and religion (neither of
which can be separated from the other) speak for themselves.

In his “style” of continuing to play down any and all Islamist
threats, we have MSNBC’s Uber-leftist Keith Olbermann telling his handful
of viewers on the same day the on-our-soil Islamists were arrested:

“The FBI arrested six morons.” As other leftists, Olbermann seems
genuinely angry that the would-be terrorism plotters did not accomplish
their goal. And, tragically, it’s no surprise that NBC would allow (and
most likely fully support) the seemingly anti-US and pro-terrorist
ideology that Olbermann appears to embrace. The inherent insanity of this sort of
support for enemies of the United States is that should the Islamics
accomplish their stated goal of world domination, leftists will also either
be killed or forced to convert to Islam. Do these leftists hold even
one coherent and rational thought in their collective mind? From their
comments and actions, I think it’s doubtful. However, as they are a
suicidal bunch, perhaps being “offed” is their hope.

The left-wing Democrat propagandists and their media continue to blame
the United States of America for everything that is wrong with the
world. And, of course, President Bush is responsible for all of the
problems—even those that did not occur on or during his watch. But, even
though he’s often the wrong target, President Bush is the easy one to
scapegoat—as he seldom fights them back. However, if the voting,
reading and viewing public continues to allow this never-ending “blame
America first,in the middle and last” mentality—we will very soon be destroyed
from both within and without. It appears that this is what both the Left
and the Islamists are hoping for and working toward.

Do you have any plans to repeat the 2006 midterm results by also
sitting out the 2008 elections?

More Fun With Youtube.com

The Teachings Of The Religion Of Peace

HotAir.com has an article up on the Tufts paper being reprimanded for publishing "unpleasant facts about Islam".

If all this seems familiar, it’s because it’s exactly what happened on YouTube to our “First, They Came” video (now posted at QubeTV) and to Nick Gisburne, the British atheist who saw his account deleted (twice) for the sin of quoting — simply quoting — incendiary passages from the Koran after having quoted incendiary passages from the Bible in previous videos without reprimand. The unstated rule applies across the spectrum of “progressive” institutions: don’t criticize Islam. Here’s Gisburne’s video, since reposted by a sympathizer, so you can see for yourself what passes for hate speech nowadays.

How To Defeat A Jihadist-Cheap!

I too have had videos banned from YouTube.com, while others remain surprisingly untouched. The point is here that the thought crime enthusiasts are beginning their crusade (can I say that?) first under the guise of political correctness, then by actual legislation. Stay alert ...speak the truth ...have fun.

Springtime in Islamberg

From Brigette Gabriel:

Springtime in Islamberg

By Paul L. Williams Ph.D., (author of THE DAY OF ISLAM)
With the able assistance of Douglas Hagmann, Bill Krayer and Michael Travis

Friday, May 11, 2007 http://www.canadafreepress.com/2007/paul-williams051107.htm

Situated within a dense forest at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains on the outskirts of Hancock, New York, Islamberg is not an ideal place for a summer vacation unless, of course, you are an exponent of the Jihad or a fan of Osama bin Laden.

The 70 acre complex is surrounded with "No trespassing" signs; the rocky terrain is infested with rattlesnakes; and the woods are home to black bears, coyotes, wolves, and a few bobcats.

The entrance to the community is at the bottom of a very steep hill that is difficult to navigate even on a bright sunny day in May. The road, dubbed Muslim Lane, is unpaved and marred by deep crevices that have been created by torrential downpours. On a wintry day, few, save those with all terrain vehicles, could venture forth from the remote encampment.

A sentry post has been established at the base of the hill.

The sentry, at the time of this visit, is an African American dressed in Islamic garb - - a skull cap, a prayer shawl, and a loose fitting shalwat kameez. He instructs us to turn around and leave. "Our community is not open to visitors," he says.

Behind the sentry and across a small stream stand dozens of inhabitants of the compound - - the men wearing skull caps and loose fitting tunics, the women in full burqa. They appear ready to deal with any unauthorized intruders.

The hillside is blighted by rusty trailers that appear to be without power or running water and a number of outhouses. The scent of raw sewage is in the air.

The place is even off limits to the local undertaker who says that he has delivered bodies to the complex but has never been granted entrance. "They come and take the bodies from my hearse. They won't allow me to get past the sentry post. They say that they want to prepare the bodies for burial. But I never get the bodies back. I don't know what's going on there but I don't think it's legal."

On the other side of the hill where few dare to go is a tiny village replete with a make-shift learning center (dubbed the "International Quranic Open University"); a trailer converted into a Laundromat; a small, green community center; a small and rather squalid grocery store; a newly constructed majid; over forty clapboard homes; and scores of additional trailers.

It is home to hundreds - - all in Islamic attire, and all African-Americans. Most drive late model SUVs with license plates from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The locals say that some work as tollbooth operators for the New York State Thruway, while others are employed at a credit card processing center that maintains confidential financial records.

While buzzing with activity during the week, the place becomes a virtual hive on weekends. The guest includes arrivals from the inner cities of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and, occasionally, white-robed dignitaries in Ray-Bans from the Middle East.

Venturing into the complex last summer, Douglas Hagmann, an intrepid investigator and director of the Northeast Intelligence Service, came upon a military training area at the eastern perimeter of the property. The area was equipped with ropes hanging from tall trees, wooden fences for scaling, a make-shift obstacle course, and a firing range. Hagmann said that the range appeared to have been in regular use.

Islamberg is not as benign as a Buddhist monastery or a Carmelite convent. Nearly every weekend, neighbors hear sounds of gunfire. Some, including a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, have heard the bang of small explosives. None of the neighbors wished to be identified for fear of "retaliation." "We don't even dare to slow down when we drive by," one resident said. "They own the mountain and they know it and there is nothing we can do about it but move, and we can't even do that. Who wants to buy a property near that?"
Islamberg's Grocery Store

The complex serves to scare the bejeesus out of the local residents. "If you go there, you better wear body armor," a customer at the Circle E Diner in Hancock said. "They have armed guards and if they shoot you, nobody will find your body."

At Cousins, a watering hole in nearby Deposit, a barfly, who didn't wish to be identified, said: "The place is dangerous. You can hear gunfire up there. I can't understand why the FBI won't shut it down."

Islamberg is a branch of Muslims of the Americas Inc., a tax-exempt organization formed in 1980 by Pakistani cleric Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani, who refers to himself as "the sixth Sultan Ul Faqr," Gilani, has been directly linked by court documents to Jamaat ul-Fuqra or "community of the impoverished," an organization that seeks to "purify" Islam through violence.

Though primarily based in Lahore, Pakistan, Jamaat ul-Fuqra has operational headquarters in New York and openly recruits through various social service organizations in the U.S., including the prison system. Members live in hamaats or compounds, such as Islamberg, where they agree to abide by the laws of Jamaat ul-Fuqra, which are considered to be above local, state and federal authority. Additional hamaats have been established in Hyattsville, Maryland; Red House, Virginia; Falls Church, Virginia; Macon, Georgia; York, South Carolina; Dover, Tennessee; Buena Vista, Colorado; Talihina, Oklahoma; Tulane Country, California; Commerce, California; and Onalaska, Washington. Others are being built, including an expansive facility in Sherman, Pennsylvania.

Before becoming a citizen of Islamberg or any of the other Fuqra compounds, the recruits - - primarily inner city black men who became converts in prison - - are compelled to sign an oath that reads: "I shall always hear and obey, and whenever given the command, I shall readily fight for Allah's sake."

In the past, thousands of members of the U.S. branches of Jamaat ul-Fuqra traveled to Pakistan for paramilitary training, but encampments, such as Islamberg, are now capable of providing book-camp training so raw recruits are no longer required to travel abroad amidst the increased scrutiny of post 9/11.

Over the years, numerous members of Jamaat ul-Fuqra have been convicted in US courts of such crimes as conspiracy to commit murder, firebombing, gun smuggling, and workers' compensation fraud. Others remain leading suspects in criminal cases throughout the country, including ten unsolved assassinations and seventeen fire-bombings between 1979 and 1990.

The criminal charges against the group and the criminal convictions are not things of the past. In 2001, a resident of a California compound was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of a sheriff's deputy; another was charged with gun-smuggling' and twenty-four members of the Red House community were convicted of firearms violations.

By 2004 federal investigators uncovered evidence that linked both the DC "sniper killer" John Allen Muhammed and "Shoe Bomber" Richard Reid to the group and reports surfaced that Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl was captured and beheaded in the process of attempting to obtain an interview with Sheikh Gilani in Pakistan.

Even though Jamaat ul-Fuqra has been involved in terror attacks and sundry criminal activities, recruited thousands of members from federal and state penal systems, and appears to be operating paramilitary facilities for militant Muslims, it remains to be placed on the official US Terror Watch List. On the contrary, it continues to operate, flourish, and expand as a legitimate nonprofit, tax-deductible charity.

The infiltration has already begun. Now what? It is vigilance and determination that NO more will die at the hands of Islamists in this country that is our only hope.

Iran's Fashion Police Explained

Caution: This video contains truly offensive material...especially if you are not Muslim.

This is a response I made to some comments left on a video about Iran's Fashion Police. Although I have an account on Youtube, and I am all for social networking, I think sometimes it should be dubbed YouStoopid. The great thing about social networks like YouTube is that you are free to express your opinions, even if you don't actually evaluate them against reality. Well here is a little dose of reality from my perspective.

Some folks will get offended at the most retarded things and then turn around and let true offenses go. This video emphasizes the point.

Don't play this with children in the room. Really... You may have some explaining to do yourself!

Is Ahmedinajad’s Presidency Breeding Discontent?

Amer Taheri writing on Iran’s Economic Crisis, says:

Ahmadinejad isn’t bringing the oil money “to every dinner table.”

BY AMIR TAHERI
Wednesday, May 9, 2007 12:01 a.m. EDT

For the past five weeks, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Islamic Moral Brigades have been clashing with groups of young Iranians on the streets of Tehran and other major cities over the government’s crackdown on “immodest dress.” The crackdown is seen by many Iranians as another step toward an even more suffocating social atmosphere in the crisis-stricken country. Both Mr. Ahmadinejad and his mentor, the “Supreme Leader” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, claim that the way young Iranians dress is the most immediate threat to their Islamist dystopia.

Television footage of young men and women engaged in scuffles with Moral Brigades may lead some in the West to assume that the opposition to the Khomeinist regime is mostly urban and middle class, and solely concerned with greater social freedoms. That, however, is only part of the story. While social issues continue to poison life in the Islamic Republic, it is economic issues that spell the most trouble for Mr. Ahmadinejad’s struggling presidency.

Last week tens of thousands of angry workers, forming an illegal umbrella organization, flexed their muscles against President Ahmadinejad on International Labor Day in Tehran and a dozen provincial capitals. Marching through the capital’s streets, the workers carried a coffin draped in black with the legend “Workers’ Rights” inscribed on it. They shouted “No to slave labor! Yes, to freedom and dignity!”

Mr. Ahmadinejad centered his 2005 presidential campaign on a promise to “bring the country’s oil money to every family’s dinner table.” After the election his position was boosted by a dramatic rise in oil prices, providing him with more than $100 million a day in state revenues. And, yet, all official statistics show that, with inflation running around 18% and unemployment jumping to more than 30%, the average Iranian is worse off than three years ago. Under the previous administration of President Mohammad Khatami, the Islamic Republic scored average annual economic growth rates of around 4%. In a nation that needs to create a million new jobs to cope with its exploding demography, that kind of growth was certainly not enough to point to any Eldorado anytime soon. But it was enough to prevent the economy from sinking. Under President Ahmadinejad, however, the growth rate has dropped to around 3%–and that despite rising oil revenues.

That putrid little maggot, Ahmedinajad, has been too busy with his IslamFascist foreign adventures and his IslamoFascist ideas of economics to actually do something that could benefit his people. Read on please, gentle reader…

Because it controls the oil revenue, which comes in U.S. dollars, the Islamic state has a vested interest in a weak national currency. (It could get more rials for the same amount of dollars in the domestic market.) Mr. Ahmadinejad has tried to exploit that opportunity by printing an unprecedented quantity of rials. Economists in Tehran speak of “the torrent of worthless rials” that Mr. Ahmadinejad has used to finance his extravagant promises of poverty eradication. The result has been massive flights of capital, mostly into banks in Dubai, Malaysia and Austria. Ayatollah Mahmoud Shahroudi, the Islamic Chief Justice, claims that as much as $300 billion may have left the country since President Ahmadinejad was sworn in.

According to Abbas Abdi, a Tehran researcher and loyal critic of the regime, Iran is experiencing its worst economic crisis since the late 1970s. The effects of this are seen in the slowdown in real-estate prices–the first since 1997, even in Tehran’s prime districts. Printing money and spending on a no-tomorrow basis are not the only reasons for the crisis. President Ahmadinejad’s entire economic philosophy seems to be designed to do more harm than good.

The president’s favorite catchword is “khodkafa’I” or “self sufficiency.” To the horror of most Iranians, especially the millions connected with the bazaars, who regard trade as the noblest of pursuits, Mr. Ahmadinejad insists that the only way Iran can preserve its “Islamic purity” is to reduce dependence on foreign commerce.

“Whatever we can produce we should do ourselves,” the president likes to say. “Even if what we produce is not as good, and more costly.” His rationale goes something like this: The global economic system is a Jewish-Crusader conspiracy to keep Muslim nations in a position of weakness and dependency. Thus, Muslims would do better by relying on their own resources even if that means lower living standards.

One of President Ahmadinejad’s first moves was to freeze a six-year-old policy designed to help the Islamic Republic become a member of the World Trade Organization; in his book the WTO is just another “Jewish-Crusader” invention to cement the inferior position of Muslim economies. It was with reference to “khodkafa’i” that Mr. Ahmadinejad decided to harden the regime’s position on the nuclear issue, even if that meant United Nations sanctions and war with the U.S. The Iranian president claims that the seven countries currently capable of producing nuclear fuel plan to set up a global cartel and control the world market for enriched uranium, once mankind, having exhausted fossil fuels, is forced to depend on nuclear energy.

Convinced that Islam is destined for a “clash of civilizations” against the “Infidel”–led by the U.S., of course–President Ahmadinejad is determined to preserve what he regards as the Islamic Republic’s “independence.” One of his favorite themes is the claim that, forced to choose between freedom and independence, good Muslims would prefer the latter.

Khodkafa’i has had catastrophic results on many sectors of the Iranian industry. Unable to reduce, let alone stop, imports of mass consumer goods (including almost half of the nation’s food) controlled by powerful mullahs and Revolutionary Guard commanders, President Ahmadinejad has tightened import rules for a range of raw materials and spare parts needed by factories across the nation. The policy has already all but killed the once-buoyant textile industry, destroying tens of thousands of jobs. It has also affected hundreds of small and medium-size businesses that, in some cases, have been unable to pay their employees for months.

Mr. Ahmadinejad has also used khodkafa’i as an excuse to freeze a number of business deals aimed at preventing the collapse of Iran’s aging and semi-derelict oil and gas fields. He has also vetoed foreign participation in building oil refineries, forcing the Islamic Republic to import more than 40% of the refined petroleum products consumed in Iran. The prospect of a prolonged duel with the U.N., and possible military clash with the U.S., has also hurt the Iranian economy in the past six months.

One result of the president’s weird policy is the series of strikes that have continued in Tehran and at least 20 other major cities since last autumn. Last year, one major strike by transport workers in Tehran brought the city of 15 million to a standstill for several days. Right now tens of thousands of workers in industries as diverse as gas refining, paper and newsprint, automobile, and copper mining are on strike.

Ayatollah Mahmoud Shahroudi, the Islamic Chief Justice, claims that as much as $300 billion may have left the country since President Ahmadinejad was sworn in. Whether this happens because this descendant of apes and pigs is a total idiot when it comes to economics, because in his religious zeal he has allowed himself to be blinded by reality the fact remains that President Ahmadinejad’s entire economic philosophy seems to be designed to do more harm than good.

As you read on you will see how similar his economic policies, however different the reasons for them, are to those of another darling of the left in the Western hemisphere. One of his favorite themes is the claim that, forced to choose between freedom and independence, good Muslims would prefer the latter. Even if his idea of “independence” destroys the whole country… except for the ruling Ayatollahs and their rich friends. 40% of refined petroleum products consumed in Iran have to be imported. The putrid little maggot must have a very strange definition of what “independence” means… For an oil rich country like Iran, importing 40% of it’s refined oil needs, does not sound very independent to my feeble understanding. What do you think, gentle reader?

President Ahmadinejad, however, is determined to impose what looks like a North Korean model on the Iranian economy. He has already dissolved the Syndicate of Iranian Employers (SKI) as a capitalist cabal, and plans to replace it with a government-appointed body. He is also pushing a new Labor Code through the Islamic Majlis (parliament) to replace the existing one written with the help of the International Labor Organization in the 1960s and amended in 1991.

The proposed text abolishes most of the rights won by workers throughout the world as a result of decades of social struggle and political reform. President Ahmadinejad believes that Western-style trade unions and employers’ associations have no place in a proper Islamic society where the state, representing the will of Allah, can keep the “community of the faithful” free of class struggle, a typical affliction of “Infidel” societies.

Mr. Ahmadinejad’s next coup will likely be a major privatization scheme affecting more than 40 public corporations across the country. He has promised to help the employees buy up to 10% of the shares. The rest will go to rich mullahs and Revolutionary Guard officers and their business associates, using low interest loans from state-owned banks. By the time the scheme is ready, however, the Islamic Republic may be facing too deep an economic crisis for anyone–even greedy mullahs and corrupt Revolutionary Guardsmen–to want to invest even a borrowed rial there.

The Bolivarian Socialist, the leader of Venezuela - Hugo Chávez is pursuing very similar policies if you care to examine them outside of political ideology. Ahmedinajad and Chávez are very good friends (even if the only reason is their hatred for the US. Ahmedinajad has already wrecked the economy of Iran, while benefiting only greedy mullahs and corrupt Revolutionary Guardsmen, he is taking Kim Jong Il from North Korea as his model. Kim “the Mad” Jong Il has totally ruined his country, there is hunger and object poverty while the ruling classes are enjoying such high living standards that rival anything in the Western world. The Communist workers paradise of North Korea is no paradise, ask the average North Korean and prepare for a horrible tale of woe, yet the putrid little maggot is accelerating Iran’s journey into the very same situation.

Hugo Chávez, that malodorous piece of devil’s dung ruling Venezuela, is slowly gearing up to follow the same libretto as his bosom buddy, Ahmedinajad. Both worship Kim Jong Il, both are trying hard to export their ideas and take over the regions around them. How? Ahmedinajad, through his puppets - Assad from Syria and Nasrallah from Hizbullah and Hugo Chávez by influencing elections throughout Latin America. And yet both dictators, both tramplers of human rights, are being sought after by Nanci Pelosi. In her zeal to embrace America’s sworn enemies in order to bring about the downfall of President Bush, the defeat of our troops in Iraq (which will only benefit Ahmedinajad, Baby Assad and Al-Quaieda) in order to bring back the Democrat party to power. There is such a thing as a loyal opposition… and then there are traitors. Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Durbin et al, are not the loyal opposition kind. They are the treacherous cancer within!

Just like Ahmedinajad’s economic policies aren’t bringing the oil money “to every dinner table.” Just as his polocies spell disaster for Iran, so too the policies of Pelosi and company spell total disaster for America. Will the Iranians become enraged enough to get rid of the vicious destroyer of the country? Will Americans wake up and put a stop to the lack of logic, to the blatant “party above all” policies of Pelosi and company as dictated by the likes of George Soros and Michael Moore?

The Palestinians Claim Herod's Tomb

The Palestinians continue their drive to erase any connection between Jewish history and Israel. Any historical finding must be a part of "Palestinian heritage and culture". So naturally, their response to the recent archaeological breakthrough which apparently located Herod's Tomb was not long in coming. Maan provides the humor;

Palestinian director of cultural heritage in the ministry of tourism and antiquities cast doubt, on Wednesday, on the validity of the Israeli discovery of Herod's tomb at Herodion, southeast of Bethlehem.

He says "The explanations accompanying the discovery, and the announcement of the discovery in that impressive way, imply ideological motives, which lack scientific credibility."

The director warned of political motivations for the claim, saying "it is part of an Israeli settlement campaign in Bethlehem, which includes claiming the archaeological sites and material within them."

He said "these archaeological areas are an inseparable part of the Palestinian cultural heritage, which can not be divided or transferred. Whether it is Herod or otherwise, it is part of the Palestinian history and culture."

There is no Palestinian heritage in Israel just as there is no Aborigine heritage in Afghanistan. They simply weren't there. There were Jews and Romans. No mention anywhere of Palestinians. Why didn't the history books mention a Palestinian presence? Firstly, because they weren't there. Also, explosives weren't invented yet.

United Nations Attacked for Christian Evangelism

World Net Daily is reporting on Islam's obvious war on Christianity:

JERUSALEM – A deadly attack yesterday against a United Nations school in the Gaza Strip was carried out by an Islamist extremist group, according to a statement faxed to WND claiming the U.N. was targeted because the international body was "spreading Christian missionary activity."

"The UN is spreading Christian missionary activity. We will keep hitting them and trying to kill them. They are trying to convert our Muslims under the cover of an international organization," said the statement, signed by the group Jihadia Salafiya.

Until now, Jihadia Salafiya has operated in Gaza as an Islamic outreach movement seeking to make secular Muslims more religious, but the overall leader of the organization, Abu Saqer, confirmed to WND today his organization recently opened what it called a "military wing" to target individuals, establishments and groups it claims are "corrupting Islam."

The United Nations has never been a Christian or Jewish leaning organization. Only a fixated religion could deduce such a notion. It is no secret that Islam has been trying to usurp Christianity and Judaism from the beginning. After all a scant perusing of the Koran will reveal many stolen verses and virtues from both religions in an attempt to legitimize its own. True religions of Abrahamic decent must take notice because there will be no equality under Abraham in Islam...only submission or death.

Muslim Gratitude

map yugoslaviaIn the Summer of 1969 my brother and I just finished touring Italy and we decided to drive to Greece by going through Yugoslavia. We nearly made a fatal mistake. There were a number of Yugoslavia maps printed by major oil companies such as Caltex, Esso and BP but they had no actual gas stations within the country; they relied on material given to them by the Tito government. We didn't find out until we were 80% of the way through Yugoslavia that the major highway printed as going all the way to Greece, in fact ended 125 miles short.

When we arrived in the town of Pec, in what is now Kosovo, the super highway ended, and so we asked the townspeople (I speak a few of the Serbo-Croatian tongues) where we could find the rest of the highway. They laughed. There was no more highway. They said Tito did not want the International community to know that Yugoslavia after 25 years of communist rule still did not have a major highway going from one end of the country to the other and so he fabricated one for the maps.

We were so far deep into the country that it would have ruined our vacation to go back the way we came, so we decided, how bad could the local roads to Greece be? We'll just persevere without a super highway.

By the way, my brother and I felt uneasy in this part of the world, the people looked at us as if we were easy targets of banditry and so we left Pec quickly. On reflection, these were Muslims and so perhaps we were lucky they didn't slit our throats right there and then.

But about 30 or so miles past Pec, even the local roads eventually turned to gravel then to dirt then to a horse path then simply ended and we came to forest. Well, we were about 30 miles from Greece and so, being the idiots that we were, we plodded into the woods with our trusty Renault 6. At one point we had to drive through a stream about one foot high with rushing water. We did get one flat while weaving between trees for almost 12 hours but luckily about 5 miles from Greece we got out of the woods and came upon a dirt road with horse carts traveling on it.

The road led us to the Albanian border. A scimitar-wielding border guard looked at us menacingly as we approached. We stopped and decided that since I did not speak Albanian it was pointless to go up and ask the border guard for directions to Greece. We found a southward fork in the road and after a few miles we came up to a Greek Border station. The crossing was not an international crossing for tourists, mind you, but merely for farmers and tradespeople between Macedonia and Greece.

The Greek Guards were completely dumbfounded. I only know enough Greek to order food and ask directions but I understood when the guard asked where we came from. I said Pec (pronounced pech, btw). The guards laughed and smiled at each other. Shaking his head, he looked at me and said there is no road from Pec. Yes, we know, I answered.

They had to unlock a box to find an International stamp to validate our passports for entry into Greece.

I believe those guards still to this day, now retired, tell their grandchildren of the day mysterious strangers from America appeared from out of the magical forest and pretended they came on a mythical road from Pec.

[Yahoo News]

Four of the men were born in the former Yugoslavia, one was born in Jordan and one came from Turkey. All had lived here for years. Three were in the United States illegally; two had green cards allowing them to stay in this country permanently; and the sixth is a U.S. citizen.

This is how Muslims show gratitude.

Iranian Weapons - American Lives

Pajamas Media today has a wonderful exclusive video and interview about the Iranian weapons flooding Iraq by Richard Miniter. The video is a must watch for all readers both here and at Pajamas Media. It is extremely enlightening and makes the point about Iran quite crystal clear.

Snips from the interview in Baghdad:

Maj. Martin Weber, an explosives expert, is trying to walk through a political mine field with me.

As with an ordinary mine field, you have to be very careful where you put your emphasis. Stress the wrong truth and either the left or the right wants to blow you up.

Here at Camp Victory, a sprawling concrete and razor wire American base that wraps around Baghdad International Airport, Maj. Weber was trying to explain how to negotiate that mine field. On the one side he wanted me to know me that the captured weapons on the table before us were — definitely, no doubt about it, absolutely — from Iran. On the other hand, he avoided drawing the obvious conclusion that Iran is supplying America’s enemies inside Iraq.

That simple and obvious conclusion would anger the Democratic leadership in Congress, much of the press corp, and a large swarth of the antiwar set.

The military has tried twice before to present to the press “overwhelming evidence of Iran’s involvement in the Iraq war, only to be met by hostile skepticism.

The skepticism basically takes the form of three questions:

) Couldn’t these weapons have been made anywhere?
2) Isn’t it fishy that these weapons were marked in English with American-style dates?
3) Isn’t all of this a ploy to justify a neocon war with Iraq?

Mr. Miniter says, “Maj. Weber is matter of fact. He laughingly admits that he got into EOD because he liked to hear things go BOOM. He’s an old fashioned army officer who abhors politics but loves his profession. He’s not trying to pedal a line, that’s for the guys upstairs. He’s just trying to tell you what he found and what it means.

This is as I stated above a must read interview and a must see video. It is time that many American people, the Democrats, and the anti-war crowd, period - get their heads out of the sand before there is not one of us left with a head.

A Clear Message to Ahmedinajad and the US

At this past week’s summit in the beautiful Sharm Al-Sheikh resort, in the Sinai peninsula, where Iraq’s security and future were discussed, the putrid little maggot, Ahmedinajad and his handlers the Ayatollahs were sent a message, as the Editor-in-Chief of the Arab Times sees it. On his Opinion piece from yesterday, Saturday, May the 5th, he writes:

[…]Participants of the Sharm Al-Sheikh Summit decided the US cannot leave Iraq at this juncture to ensure it won’t fall prey to Iran, which is trying to take over this Arab country using its sectarian influence, and the might of its militias and the Revolutionary Guards.Iran should understand the message of this summit and realize the fact that all issues concerning Arabs are represented by Saudi Arabia and Egypt, the two biggest Arab countries. Tehran should know it cannot challenge these two countries because any such move will affect all Iranians and cause alarm bells to ring peace in the Gulf region. Iran should know Arab countries don’t want to see their neighbouring country attacked for its arrogance.

The Iranian regime should understand its real size and limitations, and the role it can play. Leaders of the regime should realize they are not ruling a superpower but a developing country, which is incapable of playing certain roles which don’t suit the rest of the world.

On the sidelines of the Sharm Al-Sheikh Summit US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice met Syrian Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Moalem. In the meeting Al-Moalem received a clear message that Syria should wear its original Arab outfit and not somebody else’s clothes. This means Damascus should not help Iran or try to change the reference of Arab issues.
All countries in the Gulf region seek stability and security. They believe only a local and strong country, which does not suffer poverty, unemployment, idle factories, stagnant export and import activities can play a meaningful and substantial role in this issue.

Both Syria and Iran are incapable of playing a substantial international role. Tehran’s attempt to continue with its nuclear programme to increase its “weight” won’t succeed as long as Iran is not self sufficient and suffers a sluggish economy.
The Sharm Al-Sheikh Summit has brought Iraq back under the umbrella of Arab countries. It has returned Arab reference to its original owners and proved that the United States is still capable of leading the world. The summit has proved the Americans have not retreated or weakened. It has also confirmed the United States has not and will not attempt to deal with any “accidental” party other than a reliable Arab reference.

Before I comment let me also quote from his editorial of today: Sunday. May 6th.

IT appears the message of Sharm Al-Sheikh Summit has reached Iran and Syria faster than we expected because Damascus has described the summit the beginning of a thousand miles journey. As the torch-bearers of Sunnis Saudi Arabia and Egypt have launched an initiative to reduce the debts of Iraq and voice their protest against Iraq becoming a battleground to settle the disputes between the United States and Iran.

Tehran, which has also got the message, has chosen to confront the Americans and describe them as supporters of terrorism in Iraq. Tehran believes terrorist activities exploded in Iraq after its occupation by the United States and considers this a good reason to create tense relations with Saudi Arabia. The reaction to the Sharm Al-Sheikh Summit has been fast. The summit’s message to Iran was firm and strict. The Sharm Al-Sheikh Summit ordered Tehran to understand its real size, reconsider its regional policies and quit trying to be a reference for Arab issues.

Maybe Iran can support Arab issues, but it doesn’t have the authority to compete and take over the historical reference of the Sunni sect because this role belongs to Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Shiites in Iraq should react to these messages as they don’t belong to Al-Faqaih of Iran as a reference. They should understand their interests are linked to cooperating with the Americans in Iraq. Currently Iran is under pressure to abandon its role in Lebanon, Iraq and Palestine. If it doesn’t it should expect the return of a new Sultan Saleem of the Ottoman Empire, who ended the Sufi movement of Ismail Shah over 500 years ago. The Sufi movement was based on planting hatred against Arabs for the killing of Imam Al-Hussein (PBUH) and members of Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) family.

The Iranian regime, which is still being influenced by the movement of Ismail Shah, wants to control the faith of over 1.6 billion Sunni Muslims. By ordering Iran to get out of Lebanon and Iraq, and leave the Palestinians alone the Sharm Al-Sheikh Summit stands as a high and solid wall in the face of Tehran’s plans.

The Syrian regime, which considers these orders as the first phase, still has a good opportunity to join the Arab Sunni reference. For this Damascus should stop being a follower of the Iranian regime, which as a minority cannot stand long against Saudi Arabia which played a vital role in giving Iran a second opportunity to avoid further escalations. The Iranian regime has to come back to its senses, especially since the wind is not blowing in the direction of its sail.

In short, gentle reader, the Arab world fully recognizes that not only are today’s Iranian leaders a main source of instability in the region, but they unequivocally declared that an early American exit from Iraq, would mean a disaster for the region and the world at large.

There is also another message here, just as important though somewhat less visible, by ordering Iran to get out of Lebanon and Iraq, and leave the Palestinians alone the Sharm Al-Sheikh Summit stands as a high and solid wall in the face of Tehran’s plans. Ahmed Al-Jarallah, who penned both opinions quoted above, also said this past summer at the beginning of Lebanon II, The operations of Israel in Gaza and Lebanon are in the interest of people of Arab countries and the interrnational community. Perhaps, the Arab nation, however reluctantly, and strictly because of its own selfish interest may be signaling Israel that the time for talks has come…

We can discuss ad nauseum whether the US should or should not have gotten into Iraq, but even those who are totally against the coalition forces being in Iraq must concede that the past cannot be changed. Thus we must decide how do we proceed from here. Do we leave Iraq at a previously specified date, thereby causing the whole Middle East to destabilize and igniting a war that will eventually enmesh the entire world in its net? Or do we finish the job, while putting pressure on the democratically elected Iraqi government to step up to the plate and take full responsibility for its country’s re-entry into the brotherhood of civilized nations?

Participants of the Sharm Al-Sheikh Summit decided the US cannot leave Iraq at this juncture… The Summit, where the immense majority of participants were Arab nations but also included the US and representatives of Russia and the European Union, has made it absolutely clear that pandering to Iran would not stem the tide of war, that leaving Iraq at a predetermined date would only embolden the insurgency and destroy the region. Moreover, the summit served notice to the Iranians that, that the United States is still capable of leading the world. The summit has proved the Americans have not retreated or weakened.

Perhaps, Pelosi, Reid, et al will listen to the region’s leaders and their interests, as opposed to listening to George Soros and Moveon.org. Arab leaders are feeling threatened by the US Congress latest moves and, frankly, as long as we have not developed alternate energy sources, the Arabs are much needed. At the same we must understand and let them know, they need the West even more than we need them. The Levant is still a poor, backward area where the ruling elite are the only ones who enjoy a decent standard of living. They desperately need those petrodollars even more than we need their oil.

Yet, the Democrat Party’s strings are pulled by those whose extreme ideas would never get them elected even as dogcatchers. George Soros said right before the last election, right after he spent a fortune (which more than 99% of us will never see in a whole lifetime of hard work) on moveon.org and other such organizations that if George Bush becomes President, he George Soros would join a monastery. Unfortunately his words, like the shreds of his honor, are worthless! Shouldn’t a man of honor, a man of such preeminence have kept his promises rather than continue to shove his bankrupt ideas down the throats of a people who doesn’t want them? Yet Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the Democrats willingly take their cue from such unelected, unelectable, political thugs!

Madame Pelosi, now wants to meet with Chávez, an opportunist increasingly acquiring the full trappings of a dictator. She recently, in spite of requests to the contrary by the State Department, traveled to Syria to rescue Baby Assad from the ranks of international political pariahs. While there, in a goodwill gesture she not only covered her hair with expensive (and stylishly beautiful!) Hermès Scarves as she visited the Damascus market but interestingly… she uncovered her hair and showed her liberal side, when alone with baby Assad… Now she is making new overtures in an effort to meet and hold, close to her bosom, that putrid little maggot, Ahmedinajad…

It is interesting that while hobnobbing with America’s enemies, with those who are trampling on all human rights and killing innocents she would not meet with Colombia’s President Alvaro Uribe, who not only managed to disarm paramilitary groups in his country but has destroyed thousand of acres of cocaine growing fields while Chávez was cited in a UN study as an international drug dealer… If she is truly concerned with human rights violations should she not be consistent in her choice of dancing partners?

It is interesting to note that Pelosi, who run a campaign of ridding Washington of corruption and excessive pork to every bill leaving Congress on its way to the White House, has sent more pork in her first 100 days than any of her predecessors while accomplishing a hell of a lot less than any of her predecessors. It is interesting to note that while she has no interest in meeting America’s friends, she is tripping over herself to rush and embrace America’s enemies. Unless the Democratic Party is willing to return again to be the party of the likes Zel Miller, the party that made America great, a Democratic victory in 2008 only spells the demise of America and the fruition of George Soros’ fondest dream.

Kansas City Airport And The Muslim Foot Basin

Did a U.S. airport build foot washing basins for Muslim cab drivers?

Michelle Malkin calls Hussein Ibish from the Foundation For Arab American Leadership on the Muslim spin on accommodating bonafide dhimmitude.

The answer to the unresolved problem?

"I like faucets. When I go camping and I don't have faucets and running water, I miss them."--Hussein Ibish

Huh?

If you check the video these are not JUST faucets. They are situated about waist high with seats in front of them specifically for ritual footwashing.

As I've said before about other such "accommodations": Will the Kansas City Airport now spend thousands of dollars installing an altar with a monstrance so it's devout Catholic customers and employees can practice their religion freely with daily mass and eucharistic devotions? Not likely.

Sharia'creep!

Blogroll Buzz: Debbie Schlussel

Hey! CAIR!
A fan tipped me off to our blogroller Debbie Schlussel's article from April 30th about Mosques getting taxpayer funds alotted for eligible 501(c)(3) organizations who are deemed high-risk for a potential international terrorist attack. Amazing!

Last year, the Department of Homeland Security gave out small amounts of grant money to synagogues and Jewish schools that received threats from Muslims (you know, members of the "Religion of Peace"). The idea was to allow these small institutions to protect themselves from vulnerabilities to those threats, which they could otherwise not afford. Unfortunately, a number of mosques (which generate the hate that leads to those threats) have helped themselves to the money. Because billions in Saudi money is apparently not enough.

This is what CAIR is telling Muslims in America:

ACTION REQUESTED:

All eligible 501(c)(3) American mosques and other Islamic institutions are urged to begin the application process to receive training and to purchase equipment such as video cameras, alarm systems and other security enhancements.

Since, these days, CAIR and other Muslim activists have identified ham for lunch in public schools and bacon near Korans as "hate crimes," perhaps each mosque will get the $100 K to develop a "Halal De-Ham-inator." And since my writing and that of Robert Spencer and Ann Coulter--all exposing Islamic intolerance and support for terrorism--have all been identified by CAIR and another group--ADC--as "hate crimes," maybe the feds will give them the 100 Grand per mosque to try to stifle our free speech.

Don't let $25 million in your taxes go to fund mosques, which spew hate and already get enough in Saudi money. Tell your synagogues, churches and Judeo-Christian schools and institutions to apply for these DHS security grants. Send this to your rabbis, priests, pastors, and ministers.

Islamists know how our system works better than we do. It is time to take our system back before we begin the slide into the United States of Islamica.

The Film PBS Doesn't Want You To See

Michelle Malkin interviews Frank Gaffney about the taxpayer-funded film that PBS continues to suppress at HotAir.com.

FRank Gaffney give the whys and hows about how a corporation YOU fund with your taxes can suppress a truthful assessment of Islam called "Islam VS. The Islamists". Those of us (like Jihadi Du Jour, Jihad Watch and other anti-jihadist websites) who are alarmed at the threat of the Islamic jihadist and and are educated on it have been trying to get this message out and are constantly getting usurped by a biased and dhimmified media. But we are also taxpayers and can do something about it. Watch this important interview and call the numbers given at the end and help "Free The Film"!

Fatah Splinter Group Threatens U.S. Attacks

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, an affiliate of PA Chairman Abbas’ Fatah Group is threatening terror attacks outside of Israel. That’s right folks, while Abbas tours Europe talking peace and raising money, his hoods are planning to bomb your neighborhood. That’s right folks, the $59m that Congress allocated to Fatah just last month is going to be returned to you in the shape of shrapnel. This from INN (translation is mine);

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade issued a statement on Thursday threatening “To take the fight outside of Palestine if the financial embargo and policy if starvation continues. This has already been going on for more than a year.”

The Brigade primarily blames Israel and the US, and they warn they will not sit by idly. They called for all Palestinians to unite and for Arab states to send substantial help.

Condi; now that you’ve met the Syrians, Abbas really seems like a moderate, huh?
